I will try Imaan too I intend liquidating this week too Their MMF is no more fit for purpose.... I really wanted to stick around but the whole thing is still nosediving.....Stanbic is big enough.....does it mean their fund managers are failing or what? Gratefulme: I'm liquidating my stanbic mmf, I'll try Imaan with some change and see. Just terrible stanbic don't show their ytd. They only show price of a unit |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 1:33pm On Feb 07 |
Please where do you get their daily rate? I will be porting my 5M from Stanbic on Monday.... I have only about 110k in their MMF.... But I only know rate when I go to the bank and decide to ask Ensol: Yeah, 76k return till date on their MMF, don’t know if others would have yielded 100k on 5m |

Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 2:50pm On Feb 06 |
Stanbic is the worst..15.37% even GTB is around 17%... I was at Stanbic yesterday....I complained bitterly will conversing with the guy in charge of MMF...I told him I would be porting though...he mentioned about fund safety, I asked him if they are bigger than GTB Tufiakwa those people.....I told him they take all the gain for themselves.....and they have the worst rate EquityM: Lol. Most fund managers are just using MMF to enrich their belly. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 2:05pm On Feb 06 |
Sincerely.....I am prepared to deal with the red....MMF is children's play ground... hahahaha.... I got over 1K EACH in both Alpha fund and Afrinvest Equity yesterday for just 100K each in both funds But got 2,100 from 5M in Stanbic MMF... Lolololololo EquityM: I've made a withdrawal once, and I got my cash on the withdrawal day. The last dividend payment was 0.058 × current units. Lastly, my greens often come 3/4 times a week. Last week was all greens, while the week before had 4 reds, 3 little reds, and one huge red. The 78 naira you see on my screenshot—the opening value was 6000 naira, and I topped up around 5 pm to beat the NAV. The peak day came in January; my capital was 7k, and I saw 700 naira interest on that day. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 2:01pm On Feb 06 |
Please do you have an idea of ARM equity?.... I get 100k to try them..... I just checked them out in cowrywise.... They did magic yesterday and they don pass Afrinvest for today EquityM: If you have extra cash, do a 5-10k top-up freestyle once a month. Try to open the GTB equity fund or just get back to Cardinal equity. |

There rate is over 17% I invested my daughter's money in their MMF I never really thought about this ...I will be going to Stanbic to go pull out my 5M And dump it with GTBank Creditalerts: No pls anyone using Gt bank MMF should share pls |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 8:59am On Feb 05 |
Chief....the truth is MMF is just for people that don't want risk.... My 5M in Stanbic gives me about 2,100 per day... I have decided to stop putting my money there for now.... Even, I used my daughter's money to invest in GTbank for her..... The money in GTBank equity is half the money in there MMF....I started 22nd of January....yield in far more than that of MMF and the yield in balanced fund, which was same capital with the equity is just trailing behind the MMF.... remember MMF amount was DOUBLE.... I have decided to risk equity and fixed income for now....I didn't put in much....just 100K each.... EquityM: Bro, calculate the daily returns, and you will see that the YTD is a hoax. If I should sell my units now, I will be taking 3k+ gains, which I made in five days with 100k+ capital. Once NAV is involved, don't underestimate it. The 53 naira you see are weekend earnings. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 10:21am On Feb 04 |
Thanks boss Beeron: This is normal, don't panic, You bought when NAV was up so they just alloted you the share you deserve and in the process you lost money, however as the market gains overtime, you will make up for it. |

This morning Trustbanc....100,053 CD alpha.......100,600 Afrinvest ...........none I have confirmed that CD fixed income alpha fund is not bad o o. Thank you so much for all the free information you bring here... EquityM: If you make a payment as a first-time user, it will reflect in your portfolio at midnight. Don't worry, it will reflect. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 8:13pm On Feb 02 |
Even the payments I made to Cardinalstone since early this morning has not reflected....same as my funding into Afrinvest equity via cowrywise Cardinal sent an email acknowledging the receipt of the funds but it's not reflecting... I checked cowrywise who by the way acknowledged the funds....but it's telling me pending which I check my portfolios Only the Trustbanc fund reflected almost immediately... I don't just understand...I am new here....I have followed from sometime before deciding to register as a user .. Thank you to all the contributors here....una own no go ever loss......iseeeee Smattrader: @EquityM
They contacted me after I had chatted with them via their online chat platform.
Now, I'm unsure what's happening because, after I was finally able to log in successfully, the issue is that the money I transferred to them isn't yet reflecting in my account. Please, is this normal or do I need to wait for them for it to reflect? Please, enlighten. |
