I was disappointed....and with the new cowrywise update....it was difficult to get the true picture of afrinvest trading today... But I gained in Cardinal stone and Gtbank... Better to use more than one fund manager mbok.... If all my funds were in Afrinvest....I for dey weep now... because what the hell....today was good.... I gained about €18 on top 300k.... meaning just #6 per 100k... hahahaha... In all....I am grateful it wasn't a RED....let me manage my #18 naira like that édákán Uberchic1: wow 2.06! That's amazing. Afrinvest moved up only 0.01% so I'm guessing it's not invested much in the stocks that did great today. |

Thanks chief....the zcrest app? EquityM: UCAP is not doing well; Zenith or Zedcrest should be your targets now. 1/2 equity fund managers are okay as you want to grow your funds rapidly. My 2 cents: if you have 100k, split it into half and use it for the equity fund managers you decide to go with. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 1:24pm On Feb 13 |
Thanks chief....I have created an account now waiting for KYC review and approval.... I have been lazy about moving funds around....I have woken up from slumber o o....how I go dey dull sef.... Meanwhile....I have created UCAP as well... EquityM: Yes, Zenith Bank Asset Management. |

Chaiiii this comment enter me o o o....I was only trying to point out that the "equity" thread would have gotten more input so we can all learn that this particular thread that talks mostly about Money Market... No vex boss.... I do know that they are all mutual funds.... My apologies ègbón Harddiskng: I trade stocks myself, I have like 6 months experience and I am still learning my YTD is 16%.
Someone please tell me how experienced investment managers of Stanbic IBTC are doing 10% YTD
All Stanbic’s returns across different investments lines are getting really really ridiculous
Equity fund is a type of “Mutual fund” incase you don’t know.
Read the topic of this trend. You have now learnt something new today. |

Zenith bank? What's the app name please... Good morning boss mî EquityM: If you have some extra cash, port in to the Zenith ESG fund. It is currently at 22.09, currently ahead of Zrosk, CardinalStone, and others. |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 9:34am On Feb 13 |
One other thing....I think market was slow yesterday shaaaa....based on my earnings from three other equity manager compared to Wednesday earnings... Why are you not asking about this in the EQUITY group though... Good morning boss Harddiskng: It is like Stanbic and gross underperformance are 5 & 6 now.
Why on earth is their Equity fund doing 10% YTD
People keeping money with Stanbic obviously have nothing better to do with it |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 9:32am On Feb 13 |
I do not want to believe they are that bad.... my mind tells me it's a deliberate shortchanging/ rip-off of their customers..... I am tired already....I want to re-base my portfolio with them....I made a withdrawal for some part of my MMF with them into my wallet....I never get value..... and I wanted to put the money in their Equity and Imaan fund o o Made same day withdrawal from Cardinal stone....I have gotten value since yesterday morning.... Says a lot about traditional banks and fear of "online" app... Mtchewwwssss Harddiskng: It is like Stanbic and gross underperformance are 5 & 6 now.
Why on earth is their Equity fund doing 10% YTD

Good morning boss mî.... I just dey reason something......from cowrywise app....the pulled mutual funds is now 16.57%....i want to ask, what rate are they now using to compute daily interest for people that initially funded Trustbanc via cowrywise..... because obviously the rate is higher than the aggregate rate they quoted there? Creditalerts: only MMF can give such with conservative risk,if you no get mind to lose money commot body for equity o,especially if u be high blood pressure patient 😁 in MMF you make money without tears and you go sleep with your two eyes /peace of mind go wan finish you😁✌🏾
With 50m invested in either GT,cardinalstone,FirstAlly or Trustbanc MMF 15-20k daily is sure.
Bitter truth
I'm not an agent to any investment company just my personal analysis ✌🏾😁 |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 12:04am On Feb 12 |
What is GTb rate? Where do you check? Princewalexy99: With GT MMF, if you invest with 30M, u would be getting about N14,600+ daily with their present rate.
So with 50M, You are guaranteed of more than £20k on daily basis! |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 8:20pm On Feb 11 |
Okay boss.....I want a little growth prospect.... Like 20% of ALL my funds to be in equity and dance with the seasons..... I am NOT leaving mmf entirely..... imagine 2k on top 5M every day.....na savings account pro-max be that o o o Hahahahaha..... All these money I have invested is just around 600k....the gtbank own is my daughter's ( she has like more than 10 years to let the funds weather the storms).... I intend removing 1M from the 5M in mmf to try Stanbic equity and Imaan funds.... What do you think boss? Please note that I have NO immediate need for the money for now and even in more than 2 years time Thanks for your concerns....it's well appreciated..... Beeron: please in as much as Equity investment is sweet now. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
The economy moves in seesaw pattern with MMF VS Equity/Bond, so it will be smart to plant your seed everywhere.
Don't uproot from one completely to plant in a new one rather plant everywhere, in due time, you will enjoy the dividend/fruit from all investment. |

I like different fund managers o o Bulk of my funds are in MMF and Tbills These are growth funds... I might throw in 100k in balance but 200k goes to equity... July far o o Hahahaha Jayce242: Me I for suggest u put the 200k in cardinal balanced fund. From the screenshot a member posted above, it is almost at par with equity & far more profitable than mmf. Let it not be all are in equity since u are already in afrinvest equity & also proposing to join zrosk equity soonest, it is also good to spread tents. It is just a suggestion oh |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 12:47pm On Feb 11 |
Exactly I have removed my money in trustbanc mmf to Afrinvest Equity... I want go fidelity now and move 200k to cardinal equity.....these are funds I can play with..... Mmf is childs play..... though I am waiting for my TBills to mature in Late July....Zrosk here I come EquityM: Better choice; the earlier, the better. When bear arrives, your profit will shield your capital from any losses. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 10:37am On Feb 11 |
From Zrosk right? Just wow EquityM: The CSOF is 100m for minimum subscription. Individual trading is cool; however, the timing, stress, and also trade volume are what made me go for equity. I already made 500k+ in 4 days now with 9.5M as my capital. I only have 25,000 naira in MMF currently, as I see it as a savings pro. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 10:33am On Feb 11 |
I believe those guys make way more than the rates they update for their investors... Lol Congratulations though... Harddiskng: Why i dey always beat Cardinal Stone Equity fund by 1%
My deal still stands, I do my stock picks myself but any month they beat my % return i would invest in their equity fund.
Btw current I’m doing over 16% return in stocks, I am beating Stanbic Money Market fund, no be juju be that |

That Paramount is through Investnaija right? I deleted the app....I tried funding and all payment options were unavailable except through Paystack and they charge over 1k to fund account Mtcheeeeew Uberchic1: Zedcrest is now 23%. According to the January report, 97% if the fund is equities, while 3% is money market instruments. Paramount equity fund is sharing N2.44 per share in dividends but cut off date was January. The ytd as at yday is 14.39%. May today be greener than yesterday. |

Exactly....how did they expect people to invest in UCAP MMF with rate of 15:30% while there is another manager with 19.56%...make it make sense.... Even in equity....very high risk investment....I should be the one choosing the fund manager to trust my money with.... suckprick: This cowrywise wan start to cheat people. They will now collect people's money, invest it on trustbanc themselves, get 19% and pay out 16.7%. Ojoro people. Make they sha preserve my money with them o. Make nothing do am at all. |

Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 3:52pm On Feb 10 |
Exactly....look at the rate for MMF.....why can't other managers increase their rate? Trustbanc investors should kuku use Prime Pro Uberchic1: This is what I came to post about. And they pretty much forced me to update the app. I couldn't sign in cos the update prompt kept interrupting. Individual mutual funds are gone. Only mixed portfolios of several fund managers now. What a shame.
Existing individual funds are not affected at least. |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 12:43pm On Feb 10 |
Exactly....look at their Average for MMF...16.69% Look at their equity....ARM was highest this morning with close to 12%YTD.... just look at the average they used... Na them sabi shaaa......by the end of the week if I no understand their new shenanigans I go face front....na my money...my rist Kalas t33why: I'll miss being able to move funds around in the cowrywise market without having to withdraw into my bank. That feature is so convenient kai |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 12:35pm On Feb 10 |
I just checked now....I saw the new update but I can still use my individual funds as well.. I topped up 100k yesterday for Afrinvest Equity....if they mistakenly try that rubbish....I am pulling out the 100K..... t33why: Yes, mine is still there and I can top up also. I think the new update is only applicable to new investments. |

Na so I see RED the first time I invested....my eyes first blurry....hahahaha Meanwhile....all my Equity did well, even my MMF with Stanbic improved with a very very little margin.....I was shocked to see negative in my Alpha fund .... Shuoooooo... Niiade: Started my fixed alpha with CS on Sunday with my small 10k, lost today but good to see my work is in the process, as my oga said every Friday going forward we credit minimum 5k. A million this year my target. Then in two to three years I can move it to CSOF or Zrosk 5m is the goal. Roll out |
