Where have you been boss?

Thanks to all the contributors here.....it was a good week for me....

God bless you all

@EquityM, Smarttrader, Beeron.... everyone else....

We go again next week...

Beeron:
Your observation is correct.

However, Nearly all big names are currently gaining in the Stock market now, from MTN to Dangote Cement to GTCO and the likes.

Like I said in my video, the reason big names are driving this rally regardless of sector is because pension fund are still buying.

That's a lot of money getting into the market and Pension fund institutional investors are after big names stock (huge market cap + liquidity)

That's why is what Is currently happening.

I will suggest everyone to get on board because, they will be more buying after CBN cut MPR rate.
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 2:22pm On Feb 20
5 whole days... that's a lot of trading days lost...

They did same to me..

Wasted my time as well

Smattrader:
Money till now / Friday? That's 5days solid and it's quite too long. You need to utilise their complaint service available both on the web and app asap.

For your info; mine has reflected and it's now showing my subscription.

Thanks boss...

I used same address....I have investnaija but I am yet to fund ....thanks

Uberchic1:
Somehow as how? If you're not comfortable with the wide margin, you can do Paramount instead. They're at 29.91% ytd and the margin is not too wide from the others. Zedcrest, according to their fund fact sheet, invests 50% of investors' funds in the services sector and that sector is what is apparently driving the ngx right now since December. @Beeron, pls shed more light on this if you can.

I used zedcrest for mmf only when they first launched but their equity fund started in December last year. Don't remember much of the sign up process but it was smooth. As long as you update a very recent bill and the address on the bill matches the address you signed up with, verification should take a few days max.

The fund itself, redemption is immediate. If you redeem before 3 months, they debit their 20% charge. But you get your money in your wallet immediately. Withdrawal from wallet into bank acct is also fast. 1 hour max.
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 11:44am On Feb 20
Boss do use zedcrest?

Their YTD has a wide margin from others

I dey find better yield but this one dey somehow o o

I have downloaded and registered... waiting for address verification

Please throw more light on them

Look at how Zenith ESG collapsed like a pack of cards yesterday.....na wao o o

Uberchic1:
SMH they need to be more transparent and have their ytd on the web app. I'm sure it's higher than this now.
Paramount is 29.91% ytd as at today
Will post zedcrest when it's updated
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 10:34am On Feb 20
Yes please....I can drop screen shot

It only topped 500k yesterday (Thursday 19/02) after trading please...

There was no RED since Tuesday but marginal GREEN.....2k, 3k.... It did 10k yesterday and balanced up...

cyrilex202:
Are you sure it's Stanbic equity fund you subscribed to that haven't gotten back to initial 500k u invested? because Stanbic equity have been doing great this week

I lost about 6k+ in Stanbic Imaan (500k) when I first deposited(494k reflected in my portfolio)

.... after that days trading it yielded about 19k .... effectively balancing it (512k)

Lost more in equity same 500k investment and 493k reflected....I haven't gotten back to 500k yet...

In cowrywise.....I experienced same with Afrivest.....the funds land incomplete

Lol
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 10:28am On Feb 20
Let me use my self as example.....

I funded both Imaan (500k) and Equity(500k) on Friday evening......

Imaan reflected on Monday with shortage 0f 6k which after that days trading....it gained around 19k....

Equity reflected on TUESDAY with shortage of 7k.....

it took longer for my equity funds to reflect, I even vex send them mail join...

Smattrader:
Morning house.

Please, I subscribed to Stanbic Equity Yesterday but till this moment I have not seen any balance or equity investment activities on my portfolio. Anybody who's into them should kindly enlighten on how their system works, why my Equity fund investment isn't showing any activities or movement.
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 6:37pm On Feb 19
My gain on Tuesday alone in Gtbank swallowed the two days loss of Wednesday and Thursday.....

Ensol:
That's why its called high risk, I lost 75k, but I have gain more since I started in January.
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 5:17pm On Feb 19

Batman2412:
So I decided to donate 100k to cowrywise equity on 17th February 2026. It was posted immediately and before you could say agbalumo, I already lost 612 bucks. @ 21.68% oh. So let's see how long it will take for the 100k to finish. Invest in equity with only money you can afford to lose
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 12:00pm On Feb 19
I did both apps inside the bank with customer care.....it's very easy with GTbank....the funds reflects IMMEDIATELY...

I do not blame that guy that spoke about losing money because of delays....

Smattrader:
Via App or Web? Provide what you used, pls

Did you go to their office to register with Stanbic?
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 11:56am On Feb 19
I didn't see equity listed in quantum zenith bros...

Please help me

I saw ... balanced, ESG, fixed and mmf...

Point me to the right direction please

Smattrader:
Well, I just subscribed to their Equity just now and from my experience so far with them, they have been quite good. In fact, they called me the first day I registered with them to see if I needed anything or help.

What issue are you having with them?
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 3:27pm On Feb 18
Just wow....I do not know why people are not talking about Gtbank equity.....like....it's has been so FAR so GOOD...

Ensol:
What is Zrosk management fee, GT equity returned for me ₦10,343,514.87 on Feb 9 to ₦11,803,114.95 yesterday, United cap equity ain’t doing well just 336k on ₦5m from Monday to yesterday, dollar is really crashing but thinking of moving ₦5m into Zrost equity and test it’s growth
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 1:38pm On Feb 18
This is massive...

I will wait till July

EquityM:
Cool. If you have huge funds, don't forget Zrosk if you don't mind the management fees. Have made 1.6M on my 10.2M capital in just 3 weeks.
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 1:37pm On Feb 18
This is huge....I was have funds by July ending pending TBilss maturity

Salarys:
Impressive
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 1:36pm On Feb 18
Me sef no understand o o....

There was a day I was really hopeful....ómó na 0.001% increase I later see at the end of that days trading....

Salarys:
Nope, my yearly target is 50%. They did that comfortably last year and were even ahead of CS.

Any other addition is a welcome bonus. cheesy

Reason I've not left Afrinvest despite trailing behind the Zeniths of the moment. grin

I just wonder because when I expect the fund to do really well after keeping an eye on the day's trade, it doesn't. But when I'm not expectant, I get a shocker.
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 1:19pm On Feb 18
Using more than one fund managers is the game changer for me o...GTbank equity was beautiful yesterday....I got flat on Afrinvest(it's wasn't RED)... got RED on Cardinal stone....

I have Stanbic Imaan and equity....got RED on Imaan and GREEN on Equity...

Thanks boss

EquityM:
Before investing in any equity fund, check their yearly performance; 60YTD should be your target. However, be patient, as it is too early to call a shot for now.

No idea boss

Smattrader:
I will hop on them now-app and Web. 👍👍

But...any info about their Equity and it's YTD figures as at today or the week?

Wishing everyone a green equity day today. 🇳🇬
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 11:27am On Feb 18
Stanbic is the biggest assest managers so far....I did withdrawal from my MMF to fund equity in SAME... Stanbic

I did that on Wednesday.....and got value into my wallet by weekend.... loosing valuable trading days and yields 😎😎😎

But Cardinal and cowrywise was faster.....

Someone suggested I use WEB any other time I want to withdraw..... that it's same day value

Smattrader:
I want to go into Stanbic can you share the issue you had with them during your liquidation, what really happened and, what fund/investment ( equity or ?) you were referring to. Asking this question because I am curious and I have been hearing about how solid their liquidity is.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by LoriHamo: 11:16am On Feb 18

I don't think it is a wise decision putting all that amount in Stanbic. He should put part in cardinal stone, cardinal stone is big too. I doubt if Stanbic liquidity is more than that of cardinal stone. I always advise people, once your money is more than 50m, use more than one fund manager. Any day Stanbic encounter downtime & he needs quick access to cash, he will be stranded ontop 1.4b.

I rebased my portfolio last week.... Cardinal stone and Truastbanc(cowrywise) really surprised me... withdrawal was swift....

But you see Gtbank and Stanbic....I was forced to send mail walahi.....

Smattrader:
I have learned a great lesson that, in any investment, your greatest loss or failure isn't always about losing money ( most probably at least the pegged +/-10 by Sec) but having your fund trapped or entangled with a manager with a frustrating and paper liquidation procedure.

Liquidation flexibility is as critical as your investment or capital.....this is why and will always respect CARDINAL STONE.
InvestmentRe: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 7:48am On Feb 17
I am having issues with my KYC (utility bill) for Zenith.....I use prepaid meter, and my address on their payment slip is not detailed at all ...jut one vague rubbish.....my LAWMA bill is more than 3 months already and they haven't brought any bill at this year.....

That's what is delaying my KYC review..

THANKS CHIEF...

Good morning chief....

I checked out the Zenith ESG....I think it has low liquidity..... getting out may be a bit difficult....aside their usual 180 days minimum holding period... with 10% penalty for early withdrawal....

EquityM:
Based on their current YTD at the moment.

Quantum Zenith Balanced Fund 51k: Returns 58k+ (topped up first week of Feb with 40k; I had 11k last December)

Quantum Zenith ESG 25500k capital: Returns 29k+. Started last week Tuesday.
