Interesting topic! well, a group of us are embarking on creating a nigerian auction site not just for sales and buys but biddings as well.In wich way should your site be different? A couple of days ago I have posted the following in another topic ( https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-59906.0.html ) Hello Everybody, |
Our company has a flash banner 468x60 wich we want to place on the site of Nigerian newspaper. This newspaper only places banners with size 360x60 and they can't adjust our flashbanner to that size. ![]() Does anyone know how we can simply adjust it to 360x60 or is it better to create a new banner? Or maybe somebody can adjust it for us? |
Advertise your properties also on 2Deal4Real.com. Free of Charge!!! https://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s128/Lotachi/advert.jpg |
sirussy:Do you really think Nigeria is ready to have an online acution site like Ebay ![]() Maybe you are, but majority of them not. You are asking "our webdevelopers" to do something. Please open your eyes and watch very well. 2Deal4Real is there for you!!! Like many others. Stop watching Ebay to much. It will take many years before a system like Ebay will comfortably work out in Nigeria (or maybe never). Watch what is made already in Nigeria, for Nigerians. i also have a few things to sellStart using 2Deal4Real and help to make the emarket in Nigeria to grow! If you find customers who are willing to pay you online without seeing the goods they are buying from you, ok that is your problem. But if they are coming to bring the money in person, would you deny? Strange anyway, now these sites are rendering their service for free and people start complaining that they can't pay!!! ![]() |
I can help you with shipping cars from The Netherlands or Belgium. On 2deal4real.com, many Nigerians in Europe are having cars for sale. Mostly picture included. You can also advertise wich car you need. You can contact me at 2deal4real@home.nl |
Hello Everybody, Help to develop Nigeria and start using a Nigerian online marketplace! There are now so many good initiatifs when it comes to "auction" sites, people are really trying to establish a good, genuine website. Everybody is working hard, believe me 'cause I know what it takes. But if we keep on wishing for Ebay or Gumtree to come to Nigeria, we will never be able to get something for our own! Is it not better to start something? What are you waiting for? Start using a (free) online marketplace today (whether it is 2Deal4Real.com, Ebuynigeria, Karajakataja, vadoka, whogobuy or another site), see wich one is most suitable, most convenient to you. You can even use all of them to promote you stuff. You don't have to put your eggs in one basket! What I really believe is that Nigeria needs a mentality change, so start today! Use common sense and start making some money by selling for example: -(used) books -(used) clothes -(used) wedding gowns -(used) tools -(used) cars / parts -(used) mobile telephones - short: everything you want to get rid off and has some value! Tip: Help interested prospective sellers to place their ads on one of the sites and let them pay for your service Make one or more of these sites to grow and be proud to have a Nigerian marketplace!!! Have a nice day and good luck with your business Check out 2Deal4Real.com first! ![]() |

dearstan, how do you make money from your free auction website? From your own items, right? HuhHow did websites like Youtube, Gumtree, Google and others start and from where do you think they are getting their revenue? Even Ebay was completaly free in the beginning. muyo2001:That is why we started 2Deal4Real.com. We are promoting Local Trading, buying and selling in person. Later when you have found reliable business contact, you might think of payment of goods in advance, before receiving. Like me, I am residing in Holland. Anyone in Nigeria who might be interested to buy something from me, can contact me. I will bring my prospective buyer in contact with my contacts in Owerri and/or Lagos. Or maybe my prospective buyer has a reliable contact in Holland or another country close. My personal opinion is, first thing is that we have an open mind for all these sites that are comming up these days. And secondly use common sense!!! Ofcourse take caution, but also don't be paranoid. If registration is free, and ad placement is free how on earth can a website scam you? Some people seems to believe once you have placed an ad on the net, you will be scammed under 10 secs. ![]() Don't pay a person without seeing the goods (unless you can pay with paypal), don't accept cheques. I don't know about other sites, but 2Deal4Real gives some advice on how to go about buying and selling on their site. We are advertising 2Deal4Real on Nairaland, on some mayor newspaper websites through google and soon on Vanguard with a banner. We are spreading flyers here in the Netherlands (to Nigerians ofcourse ) and very soon we will distribute them in Nigeria, starting off in Lagos and Imo State.Anyone interested in becomming a distibutor? ![]() |
2 Deal4Real is a online marketplace for the average internetuser! We mainly focus on small scale businesses and selling of private goods. Ad placement is free and no selling fee. 100% Free and that is how it will be. 2 Deal4Real was inspired by Gumtree.com but tailored the site according to the unique needs of Nigeria and Nigerians in diaspora. 2Deal4Real would like to contribute to give Nigeria and Nigerians a more positive image on the internet. And to give them chance to do online business in a genuine way on their "own" marketplace. Please read more about 2Deal4Real on the site (FAQ and about us): "There are unscrupulous people in all walks of life and the internet is no different. You must be on your guard, use common sense in all transactions and if in doubt, do not part with your money/goods. Remember, if it seems too be good to be true, it usually IS too good to be true. The purpose of 2deal4real is to encourage face-to-face, local, trading." |
@ Nferyn Yep, I couldn't stay behind ![]() |
Is it an accepted thing in Nigerian online shopping that all extra costs are passed to the consumer? As long as unrealistic prices continue to be the norm on these sites, i don't see Nigerians going for them en masseYou are so right in what you are saying! But have you checked out 2Deal4Real very well? No charge of anykind! No fees for posting an ad, no fees for selling a product, no fees for buying a product. Nothing! And still many of us are doubting a site like 2Deal4Real. Once a Nigerian has to pay, he is afraid to be duped. Once it is for free, he is still afraid to be duped! |

Did you went through the site? Listing an Item is absolutely free, you only pay when a buyer shows interest in your product/service.Above is stated at the page: Start Selling Items |
Nice site. I wish them good luck! But in my opinion Nigeria is not yet ready to pay (online) for ads. That is why the online marketplace 2 Deal 4 Real. com is for FREE. We need to develop Nigeria and give everybody a chance to do business online. |
