May God bless you and your home!

Nice one
Amen oooo

Meanwhile I think if moderators will not find it offensive though that its time to create a thread just to identify people that only post on car threads without any intention to buy , there are lots of them on nairaland and its time to expose them. Also dealers should do a good work of attaching needed details to every car post

To be fair to car sellers, I think that their job is made difficult with the fact that 99% of the people who comment on car post are broke dudes who just want to read their own posts. they have no money to pay and are not even willing to buy, imagine someone posting car that we all know will go between 1.8m and 2.2m yet someone will be bidding 1m or even less ? 99% of people that buy cars from Nairaland do not comment on posts. imagine the stress that the real car dealers have to go through on Nairaland just to put their thread on first page ? They have to keep commenting all the thread just to keep the thread alive and one person with no plans to buy will just type rubbish like the dealer should call him and put a price that is annoying. I have bought two cars in the last two months from people in Nairaland without having to comment on the car post. the real buyers just pick up the number and call.

I think most of these self acclaimed dealers are mere resellers who just want to make abnormal profit than even the original owner of the vehicle. How can i buy a car for 1.5 million when i can source it nearby for less than 1.2 million
Nicely said.. most of the guys on auto section now are just the resellers trying to make extra money off the car owners..

Thanks for the contribution. I want to tint the glass but I'm scared of police harasment. A dark tint on a black vehicle is so dope
I 'd rather change the glass to factory tinted than do the tint, am sure you should be able to get replacement glass with factory tint at ladipo or Owode.. you could do a swap at ladipo

So if it was that boring for you to start throwing money at it to make it look better you should not have bought it. There are more interesting brands out there VW, Audi, Ford, Kia have cars that look better than Corolla
I get you sultaan , trust me for some of us in lagos, your day to day lifestyle determines the kind of car you will drive. though I drive a Toyota, I am still not a fan of Toyota.. economically it is fine for me.. and of course i will upgrade some day wink to the brand I love.

I thought you'll install a 3 pistoned Brembo ceramic brakes up front and a 2 pistoned type in the rear, Slam a K&N supercharger with intercooler to boost the engine, install a Recaro sports bucket seat, gear shifter and steering wheel, install a Holstein coiloversand then slam an 18" Velocity VW830 Chrome Wheels, slap a HID up front and LED at the rear.

OP oya go and install these parts before I vex angry

Hello house,

I drive a Toyota corolla 2010 LE and I have always seen Toyota as a boring car, I got mine from Nairaland and so far I have upgraded the car to look like a 2012 model, what I want to do now is to change the instrument cluster light and also the HVAC lights from the boring orange color to either while or blue.

I will like to know if any nairalander has done this before. I am excited and looking forward to doing this.

List of things that I have done after buying the car

Changed the wheels to alloy wheels
Changed the front shocks and Stabilizer linkage
DIY installation of steering volume control
Changed the front grille to the 2012 corolla grille
Changed the headlight from the boring light to the dark one for 2012
Finally installed the 2012 trunk with boot spoiler.

However sad this is , it should serve as a lesson to Nigerians, firstly God has made you wise enough to know of what is called insurance and you have refused to buy it saying that your car will never be stolen in God 's name meanwhile you spent several millions to buy it .. naija sha , I am not a fan of doing security on any car as to me I see no reason why I should do any funny security on a car when I can insure and rest my mind .. next time someone refuses to listen and do insurance I will dig out this video

The poster above doesn't know what he's saying. So if we don't drive a Toyota and Honda then no car is worth buying? Different cars are made for different targets and purposes. If u are mike adenuga and u drive a Honda then my friend u have no idea what living large is.

Op, both cars are made my Nissan, Infiniti is the luxury version of murano which means its got better gadgets, better leather abs better overall ride. Stay away from the first generation murano as it is notorious for transmission failure. The recent generations have improved though. If I have to choose between the 2, I'll choose the Infiniti, its more aggressive and better looking plus more luxurious. A bit expensive to maintain though.
one bottle of shayo for you Abeg ... Nicely said jare ,not everyone on nairaland is so broke that they will only be able to maintain a Toyota or Honda
