A 62-YEAR-OLD Chipinge man is being attacked by goblins he used to increase yields and bed several women in the village – including his daughters.

Sekuru Goodness Chimetu of Checheche under chief Garahwa told Star FM radio listeners during Tilder Live Show on Tuesday that he had sex with his five daughters among several women in his village and in Ruwa using goblins left in his custody by his late parents.

He brought some of the living creatures in his bag to Star FM where he disclosed how they were tormenting him and causing the sickness of his daughter in-law.

These included a tortoise, frogs and two human-like creatures.

One of his daughters and daughter in-law also testified on radio how Chimetu’s goblins were tormenting them.

Sekuru Chimetu confirmed keeping the goblins saying the panties removed from women give him power to open their homes during the night for sex.

“My late parents left goblins that include this living tortoise, a frog, and two human-like creatures and each creature has a different assignment,” said Sekuru Chimetu.

“The items were left in my custody by my father and mother to protect family from being attacked, increasing yields and making sure I have a woman to satisfy me sexually.

“I can open any one’s door during the night covering my face with the panties so as to gain access to have sex with women.

“In times of hunger, I kneel down and tell the goblins my problem and they visit other people’s fields and collect food for us.

“Zvimwe zvacho zvinondibatsira kuti ndikaita kuti ndinonzwa kuti ndinoda mukadzi zvimwe zvacho zvinoita kuti ndiwane mukadzi chero wandada.

“My victims will come to know that I have bedded them after sex and I feed these goblins with either mealie-meal, water and other things.

“One of the goblins is so angry with me after they were exposed following the sickness of my daughter in-law, I bedded her also.

“I had a misunderstanding with my daughter in-law after she encroached into my field and I became angry forcing the goblins to attack her and this is how the goblins started attacking me.

“I left the ones that are too angry and as we speak, my ears are being affected and I am under attack for disclosing secrets of these items,” said Sekuru Chimetu.

He said he now has 35 frogs and their assignments is to alert me of my victims’ deaths. When one frog dies, it means it has caused death to my enemies.

Sekuru Chimetu said he was bedding his to secure their lives and two of the daughters are married and he occasionally visit them to have sex with them as a way of protecting their marriage using charms.

After the interview on radio, Sekuru Chimetu pleaded with his goblins and returned them in his wooden pot and bag including 14 undergarments.

Star FM staff pleaded with Sekuru Chimetu not to take the two human-like creatures off his bag after he claimed that they could be angry and attack them.

It was after the interview that Sekuru Chimetu regretted taking the goblins to the studio as he sweated claiming that he was being attacked by them and the driver who brought him refused to take him back after learning that he had such dangerous items in his bag.

Sekuru Chimetu sought help from Star FM security who made sure he travelled safely with his items to Ruwa around midnight.

High street giant H&M has come under fire over a controversial advert for a children's top which shoppers have labelled 'racist'.
The Swedish fashion chain is selling a green hooded top on its UK and US websites emblazoned with the phrase 'Coolest Monkey in the Jungle'.
The image, which has since been taken down from website in the wake of the uproar, shows a young boy modelling the £7.99 hooded top.

The retailer has now faced a fierce backlash, prompting many to call for a boycott of the store
Customers took to Twitter to question whether H&M were being 'casually racist', pointing out that 'monkey' has long been used as a racial slur.
Even those who doubted the brand was being racist admitted there should have been more awareness of how the image could be perceived.
The campaign group Models Of Diversity, which pushes for more diversification across the industry, said H&M should be 'ashamed'.

The shadowy leader released his first video message in months amid a surge in violence casting doubt on the Nigerian government’s claim that the jihadist group is defeated.

“We are in good health and nothing has happened to us,” said Shekau in the 31-minute video message spoken in the Hausa language common across northern Nigeria.

“Nigerian troops, police and those creating mischief against us can’t do anything against us, and you will gain nothing,” he said.

“We carried out the attacks in Maiduguri, in Gamboru, in Damboa. We carried out all these attacks.”

The video then shows footage from a Christmas Day attack on a military checkpoint in Molai village on the outskirts of the northeast Nigerian city of Maiduguri, which the military said was thwarted by troops after one hour of battle.

Boko Haram fighters in torn clothes were shown shooting from the back of battered pickup trucks.

Shekau’s message comes during an acceleration of Boko Haram attacks and just days after the jihadists killed 25 people outside Maiduguri, the birthplace of the Islamist insurgency.

At least 50 people were killed in November when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a mosque in Adamawa state.

It was observed that the Imo state chairman of the APC, Chief Hilary Eke was the only state chairman of the party missing at the event while Governor Okorocha’s conspicuous absence was excused by the host, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu.

While presenting his goodwill message to the party leaders, Onu explained the absence of Okorocha, saying, “I had been in communication with Governor Okorocha and he had assured me that he would attend this meeting but sometime last week, the governor called me to explain that he may not be able to attend after all as his son had taken ill and had been hospitalized in a London.”

Also, Government House sources, however, confirmed that during the Christmas week, Aham Okorocha, a first Class Engineer, had slumped and had to be rushed to an hospital and subsequently flown overseas for treatment.

He was accompanied by the governor and the Imo First lady.

Kaduna state governor El Rufai intent on sacking 22000 teachers who failed competence test

Sometime last month, it was revealed that 22000 teachers in Kaduna were on the brink of losing their jobs after failing a basic competence test. The Kaduna state chapter of the Nigerian Union Teachers threatened industrial action but the state government has refused to back down.



In a live interview with radio stations in Kaduna, governor Nasir El Rufai said the NUT should be embarrassed at the literacy level of teachers in the state. He said: “Everybody knows that we will not be deterred in doing what is right for the future of our children. The NUT thinks this is about politics, making a public show of opposing what they know to be right. Shouldn’t everybody be embarrassed by the test results? Where is the sense of shame? I hear some people say the pass mark for a Primary Four exam should be 60%; the same people say the state government has no right to test the competence of its employees. There is no bigger evidence of the crisis in our society than that a union whose members failed a Primary 4 examination thinks it can create problems over the issue rather than be a part of the solution.


“We are not people that bow to threats. We will respond appropriately. What will be point of that strike? To force us to violate our oath of office and knowingly retain as teachers those that are not qualified? That will not happen."
The governor said the abysmal performance of teachers in the competence test was due to a politicisation of the recruitment process by politicians and local government chairmen who turned the primary school sector to a “dumping ground for their thugs”.
“Unqualified teachers entered the system because the recruitment of teachers was politicised. The local government council chairmen and other senior politicians and bureaucrats saw teaching as a dumping ground for their thugs, supporters and other unqualified persons.


“Teachers were employed at local government level without adherence to standards. In many instances, no examinations or interviews were conducted to assess the quality of recruits. Political patronage, nepotism and corruption became the yardstick, thus giving unqualified persons a way in. Teaching jobs were given as patronage to those connected to politicians and bureaucrats."
He disclosed that a process in place to replace those facing the sack with 25000 qualified teachers.


“The Kaduna State Executive Council has approved the recruitment of 25,000 primary school teachers. Recruitment notices have already been advertised by the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). This time around, there would be standardized tests for the recruits and a further training programme before the new teachers take over the classrooms. No unqualified person will scale through. And we will vet certificates very closely and very often. The future of our children is so important that we will not take chances. We will be vigilant in ensuring that only good people teach in our public schools” he said.

In an exclusive interview with The Nation, she debunked claims that she threatened to commit suicide, adding that there was never a time such thought came to her mind.

She also said the faces behind her agonizing period in Anambra would be revealed soon, adding that with God, all things are possible.

Narrating her own side of the story, she said: “Early last year, the ABS advertised for the Miss Anambra beauty pageant. I heard of it and went to make enquiry.

“My roommate was also interested, but one of the organisers told me to apply. I told them I was not interested but the man insisted that I might win the competition. He also promised to give me the form for free if I indicated interest, and he did when I agreed to contest.

“But one Jane told me that before a winner would be declared, there were certain things to be done, including the (sex) video. I consented after some persuasion from the organisers. I later went for the contest at the Marble Arch Hotels in Awka, and I was declared winner with a Kia Rio vehicle as star prize.

“When I went for my car after the contest, the organisers brought out a contract form for me to sign, but I told them I wanted to contact my lawyer to see it. I was not given the opportunity to do so.

“What they kept telling me was that if I insisted on not signing the contract or wanted to contact my lawyer, they would release the video.

“At that point, I became uncomfortable and signed the contract to avoid such embarrassment, and the car was released to me from where it was packed within the premises of ABS.

“From that moment, I became a slave to them. On October 11, 2016, they called me to come and make presentations inside the office of one the organisers. After that, the man excused some people in that room and showed me the video again.

“They told me to drop my car and removed my crown from me. I told them I would take the car as stipulated in the contract. They insisted I should pack it in the premises of (ABS).

“I told my uncle in Abuja about the situation. My uncle called them and asked them to release my car to me. Instead, they forwarded the video to him as part of the blackmail. That was what happened,” Chidinma said, crying.

She also said the scandal had weighed her down. Amidst sobs, she denied being a lesbian, saying she had never been involved in the act.

For her parents, Sir Jeremiah and his wife, Lady Nora Okeke, the incident remains a shock. According to Sir Okeke, the management and organisers of the pageant capitalised on his daughter’s “age and naivety to deny her whatever monetary gains she made while serving as Miss Anambra.”

He added: “How can a beauty queen borrow money to pay her driver, even when she is supposed to be receiving a monthly salary?

“I cannot say all that I heard or saw. Why was she not paid her winning prize of one million naira fully? Rather, they paid her on installmental basis. And up until today, the money has not been completely paid.

“They have rubbished her and rubbed the family’s name in the mud. But we have united as a family, praying seriously for my daughter and for the people behind this wicked act to be exposed.

“My family at first agreed not to tell me about the whole thing, because I am hypertensive. But they decided otherwise when things got out of hand. I told them this issue will not kill me because I have had worse experiences while in business years back.

“My God, as always, will answer me and expose the truth in no distant time. I won’t say much because the damage has already been done.

“Chidinma is a small girl who does not know anything, hence, she fell into a trap that was too heavy for her to shoulder. But I thank God she is recovering.”

All through the interview, Chidinma’s mother, who was advised by the husband to remain silent, continued to hiss, and motioning her hands towards the heavens in supplication to God.

Two of the chiefs in Ogboji community in Orumba South Local Government Area, where Chidinma hails from, Chief Obi Okoli (Idejimba) and Chief Julius Nwankwo (Nwabulu-Omee), told The Nation that the incident had left them in shock.

Okoli, who described Chidinma as a nice and well-trained girl from a Christian home, saw the entire thing as a set up, but argued that such issues would only happen if somebody presents oneself.

According to him, “she is a well brought up girl from a good family background and Christian home. There could be more to this than meets the eyes.”

Asked if the community was not going to say anything on the s*x scandal involving their daughter, Okoli laughed and said: “There are ways of handling such issues, and I don’t think the community will be involved.”

Also speaking, Chief Julius Nwankwo, described the situation as a pity, adding that today’s children behave as they like.

However, he said that the people of Ogboji community were seeing it as blackmail, adding that none of them was happy with what happened to their daughter.

He said: “As an Ogboji man, I am pained that such a thing happened to one of our own, and that is why we want the authorities concerned to look into the saga appropriately, with a view to arresting those involved.

“When our daughter won the award, we were happy. For anybody or group of persons to rubbish her and our community is what we will not condone.”

Nwankwo said they heard some people had been apprehended over the sex scandal, adding that the authorities should look well in making sure that wrong people were not punished.

The Managing Director of ABS, the organisers, Uche Nworah did not comment on the queen’s allegations when we contacted him. He instead referred us to the organisation’s earlier statement.

In the earlier statement, the organisers had dissociated themselves from the scandal. Part of the statement read: “The attention of the management of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, organisers of the Miss Anambra Beauty Pageant, has been drawn to a video with lurid contents purportedly showing former Miss Anambra, Miss Chidinma Okeke (Miss Anambra 2015).

“The said Miss Chidinma Okeke, who is allegedly linked to the lurid content in circulation, has served out her term as Miss Anambra 2015 and handed over the crown in line with the terms and conditions of The Miss Anambra pageant.

“We condemn in clear terms any amoral behaviour/conduct as suggested by the alleged lurid content in circulation and do not condone such.

“It is on record that The Miss Anambra Beauty Pageant has been a platform to empower Anambra women and celebrate our rich culture and heritage. Winners of the pageant are bound to contracts to be of good conduct and moral behaviour and to uphold/maintain the honour in their position as queen.

“Winners of the pageant also contract to refrain from any personal relationship that could appear to hinder their ability to perform the duties of their office as queen and role model, and we do not expect any less.

“We, therefore, wish to dissociate The Miss Anambra pageant from any discussions on the said allegations.

“We feel sufficiently perturbed by the mere reference already made to the pageant and hereby state that we are in no way connected to the controversy.

“We apologise to the government and good people of Anambra State, our sponsors, supporters, friends and all those associated with the Miss Anambra project for the embarrassment the mere reference to the pageant in the controversy may have caused whilst reassuring of the good intentions of the Miss Anambra pageant franchise.”
