Hackjos is a challenge-driven hackathon that brings together techy-savvy citizens, scientists, entrepreneurs, educators, students, programmers and developers across Nigeria under one roof for 48 hours to get involved and showcase their ingenuity and talents in the pursuit of creating compelling solutions that cut across mobile, desktop, web and hardware (embedded systems) that will help solve problems relevant to the various sectors of the Nigerian economy. Teams will be afforded an opportunity to pitch their completed apps at the end of the Hackathon for a chance to win prizes. Votes will be taken by the meeting’s audience, and the most innovative apps will win various prizes.

Yass! Its finally here! The video that took like what seems to be a year in the planet of Instagram! (ok enough with the exclamation marks, i'm sure they get your point!).

In a quest to prove a well deserved point the KJV team, an acronym for Kureng the chief photographer, Jaru the Make-Up-Artist supreme and Vera the principal model, got engaged and headed down to the awesome Yankari National Park with other team members such as Lee Davou, 98Photography, Akinnawo Blossom, Harris Abraham and Hope Daniels. The main aim or purpose of the photoshoot, was to showcased that the Northern part of Nigeria which is normally not included in so many travel wish list is actually not a war zone.


And being the first underwater project for the team, they sure made it look very easy, I also feel like jumping into a swimming pool with my Canon D1100 and mass producing beautiful pictures like this. Even watching it is hard to believe that it is Nigeria.
