Laptops were not initially designed for gaming, you can't compare a laptop to its desktop counterpart, the desktop will definitely outshine the laptop, besides the desktop can easily be configured to your taste.
If u want real gaming get a console or a desktop, except you move around alot, then u can consider a laptop
