Hi guys, so I need a little bit of explanation, the internet has been driving me crazy with no straightforward way to go about it.

I would have loved to get the laptop first and try out various means of solving it, but my OCD won't let me be.
I want to get a laptop, it isn't for gaming, more on 3d rendering and stuff, It's a dell precision with 4gb quadro m1200.

So I checked some sites and it could run games from 2016 thereabout on 1080p mid to high settings in about 30-35 fps, some like gta v runs 30 to 35fps on 1080p high settings, fifa 21 runs higher than that 65-70 fps on the same settings. I correlated this with 2 sites, so it's accurate to an extent.

Now the thing is that I read that 30 fps on a laptop won't look as smooth as a console on the same 30fps, since the one on the console is capped at 30fps and the one on the laptop would fluctuate frame rates.
I play ps4 games and I know they are better optimized even though they are running 1080p mid to high with 30fps. Gamers that have gamed on a laptop and ps4 how noticeable is it?

I know some games like fifa 21 can hit 60fps on that card, but I wouldn't want other games that would fluctuate the frame rates, going from 30's to 40's then back the 30's.
I'm guessing things like that wouldn't make the experience smooth, I haven't gamed on a laptop before so I don't have much knowledge. Most of what I saw online were referring to PC's, and the some solutions can't work for a laptop, like one of them was using a monitor that has variable refresh rate and setting it to 30 hz, while using v-sync or rtss(i can't recall which one) to cap it at 30 fps.

I want to play games that would give me a similar smooth experience as I would get on a ps4(please don't tell me to buy a console) that is playing on 1080p mid to high settings on 30 fps~ no stutter or screen tear, I just want it to look as good graphically and smooth as it would on a normal ps4.

I don't care about higher frame rates if they're going to fluctuate at the end of the day.
Also to note, games like fifa 21 that would see 65 to 70fps, mortal kombat 11, would give me 50-55 fps on 1080p ultra settings
which might be ideal on a 60hz screen but I'm worried how other games would look when I get used to this, I don't want to get used to 50 to 70 fps, then when I play gta v, I'd be getting 30-35fps and I'm worried it might look somehow worse.
I just want all my games at 1080p mid to high settings 30fps~

If you have any experience using v-sync or rtss to do this, can you kindly explain how I might be able to achieve this, I just want a smooth gameplay.
P.S I only have 6 games in mind I want to play and most of them are from 2016, and I will be storing them on an external hard drive, and I might occasionally play by connecting to a TV through hdmi

Android updates are crucial to a device. The best devices will lag and stutter one day because the OS on them is not agile enough to carry the weight of the apps that come with them. Yes updates are important but you're making sound like old flagships would be lagging like hell, chai, me wey I dey use s8+ snapdragon version, I don't see a single lag for basic activities, and that's a phone from 2017, I handled a pixel 2xl the other day, and I was like mehn, it was still smooth, no cap, but it was on android 11, and my time with it, I didn't see much difference between it and my s8+, and they're both 2017 flagships.
Not to talk of a 2019 flagship, 5 years from now, the lag on the note 10 plus would be minimal and you would only see it when playing latest games on high settings, not for normal use.

And glass glass wasn't the reason I was choosing it over A73 lol.

Compare the Note 10 plus price now. What midranger can you get with that price that the Note 10 plus wouldn't demolish? My new S8 not up to two months developed an issue yesterday. It went off and refused to turn on until this morning, now it's on but the screen isn't displaying. Calibration still working, i can pick calls but the screen is blank.

Bro try factory resetting it manually, with the buttons there, make sure it's turned off first.
