Big Brother Naija 2020 Set to Hold In Spite of COVID-19:- MultiChoice Nigeria have announce the fifth season of their popular TV Reality show, Big Brother Naija which was scheduled to start by July 2020.

The organisers statement was released on Wednesday that they will do 10 days online audition to select those that participate in the new edition show. The audition has started from May 20 and will end by May 30.

Funke Akindele Fined For Nation Lockdown Violation. As reported, The Prominent Nigerian actress Funke Akindele has been fined $260 (£210) after holding a party during the lockdown imposed to tackle coronavirus. She was widely criticised online for the party in her Lagos mansion, held to celebrate the birthday of her husband. Akindele has appeared in a Nigeria Centre for Disease Control video to raise awareness about coronavirus.

She defended Saturday’s party, saying that everyone who was there had been living in her house for several days.

“Nobody came from their house to party with us,” she said in a video shared on her Twitter feed.

Akindele and her husband pleaded guilty to violating the lockdown restrictions in a Lagos court, according to a statement from Lagos State police.

President Maada Bio announced that the index case is a 37 year old male who arrived in the country from France on an Air Brussels flight was immediately put into quarantine.

Oyo Takes Action as Coronavirus Stumble the State. The Oyo State COVID-19 Security and Enforcement in joint collaboration with the rest of the world have taken on a fight against the spread of Coronavirus.
