Hello all. I have been trying to read from 2012, but got tired of reading!! Phew.

A big hello to all mums and GTC (Going to conceive mothers in the house) . We will all have our testimonies soon in Jesus name.

Its nice to know one is not alone in this journey.

So, my brief hystory ... I have endometriosis, and i had a big chocolate cyst removed in 2016, after which i was placed on a drug to stop me menstruating for 9 months. (That was supposed to allow the endo in my left ovary dry off) which apparently worked, cos i haven't had any cysts since then .
I got pregnant in oct 2017 .. Yay right?!. i however had a missed abortion at 9weeks (no heartbeat). Found out the baby had stopeed growing at week 12.
Another pregnancy showed up in october 2018 and same thing happened at 9 weeks again.
I have since not been able to pregnant, or i think so.

It so happens that i also have about 4 fibriods in my uterus and all the gyneas i have used (i have used 3 different gyneas in the last 4years) all said, i should ignore the fibriods. But they have grown over the past 4 years and i'm worried. Its like they grow bigger with each pregnancy.

So, after i did the evac of the missed abortion in Jan this year, my gynea put me on pronatal, and after 3months with no pregnancy, he did a scan again and said there are more fibroids growth and are too close to my endometrium and i might require surgery. But he said they shouldn't prevent me from taking in, just that i wont have a natural delivery.

He told me to stop taking the prenatals cos of the folic acid (said it fuels fibroids growth) (and to think i've been taking that folic acid for like 2 years o!! No one said anything!!!.)

Since i didnt get pregnant, he put me on clomid 50mg 2months ago, and still i didn't get pregnant. I was to continue the clomid on the next cycle but i lost my dad same day my peroid started and didnt even remember anything about the clomid.
So i started clomid again this cyle. Its day CD 6 and i took my last pill yesterday.
I noticed my CM wasnt egg white for the last 2cycles and it worries me.

What can i take, besides using preseed lub, that can help me get a fertile CM like immediately.

And anyone having similar or had similar issues, i would welcome advices and suggestions. Also natural herbs to help shrink these fibriods. Thank you.

Please is true dont use prenatals is not a friend to fibroid and cyst even that clomid you are taking still not friend but sabi mamas will tell you more also if you have money youcan do surgery for fibroid ones as you said they are bigger everyday and according to mama in the house no herb that can shrink fibroid but i heard of Paxherbal that it works i dont know how true is this, as per CM i think you dont need to worry about that except you to do test to know if you ovulate.

All I can say is it is God....Most mamas here know my story I lost my 7months old baby last year after waiting almost 3years just to have him, it was like the end of the world for me as I amlost fell into depression and later encouraged myself that I won't give up on God when he hasn't given up on..
From June last year I started trying again seriously, went for womb setting, took herbs, lots of Letrozole, vitex, vitE and clomid cycle...Last cycle I decided to try 100mg of clomid for 5days again before going back to resume with a gynea, 3days after the last dose of clomid my pastor called my husband to ask what is really happening cos we've prayed, fasted, gone for deliverance infact I became closer to God...And ever since the begining of this 70days MFM fasting and prayer I have received so many postive prophesy and was just waiting for the manifestation and was also praying to God to visit me before half of the fasting cos i want to come next 70days with my baby/babies.
My pastor introduced us to her sister who happens to be a nurse same day he called DH, she requested we go for some Test(HVS, urinalysis, SFA and sperm analysis) Hubby SFA came out fine with 34million sperm count but my scan read moderate fluid in d pouch of douglas and HVS came back with yeast, bacterial and moderate growth of staph, we started treatment immediately with her on the day of my suppose ovulation, we were given injection, drip and drugs after which she started me on another 6days of another injection(11 days straight of injection)...During this time I was just praying to God that my pain and money won't be wasted, I tot I was actually out last cycle and waiting patiently for new cycle to start again...
AF was due last week thursday, I kept having cramps thinking its on d way but no show, same thing friday, tested on Friday and got a negative and later DAT night I saw a blood stain on my pant, I got my pad ready for saturday went for PMCH with my faith material and cried unto the lord, came back from church there was still No show only cramps decided to test an I got a very faint positive same thing on Sunday, the nurse took my blood on Sunday and it was positive but faint she told the line is there but maybe I ovulated later than I tot, by Monday tested again and got a much darker test and it keep getting darker ever day....The lord as indeed visit me and gave me my rainbow baby.

To God be ALL the glory, I got my BFP and Blood test confirmed it. The IVF/ICSI(One ovary, 6 follices was seen, 2embryo was transferred and 600thousand sperm count) was done at Kingswill fertility hospital at Festac after 7years and 10month waiting, he gave me and my husband birthday gift! This is coming after over 7years and 10month of TTC. I prayed to God to show me mercy.



*RESEARCH, research & more research! Pls. don’t put yourself 100% in ANY doctor’s hands without researching your options & being able to request whatever will benefit you and support from a lot of people on the group

*Insisting on the cancellation because of the two embryo but the doctor encourage me to proceed that God can perform wonder's.

In this successful cycle my lining was 9.4mm before intro of progesterone & 11.1mm on day of embryo Transfer.

*Castor oil pack on tummy almost daily for about two weeks

*Sometimes soaking feet in hot water for 20 minutes, before bed (also to increase blood flow to uterus) before retrieval

* Taking pineapple core for five days after transfer

*Insisting on Day 5 transfer: I had made up my mind after research that even if all our embryos appeared to be struggling, no Day 2 or 3 transfer; if they all died before Day 5, so be it. Luckily we had 80% ICSI fertilisation.
*After the transfer, taking DAILY injections (with Dr’s permission) 2ml Gestone and 400mg cyclogest; quite painful & bum already feels like a pin cushion but for me no sacrifice is too much.

What I’ve learnt (the hard way) on my long, long TTC journey:
No doctor, spouse, family or friend, can desire my success more than my own self: I am my own best advocate! My sisters, despite glowing recommendations of any fertility clinic/Dr, do your own research. Never be afraid to ask questions and always try to go with your gut feelings; run/’talk to your feet’ if you have integrity concerns about any of them; I have also learned that though often tedious and inconvenient, it pays to try to prepare as much as one humanly can (castor oil, massage, foot soak, taking Dhea, vit c, vit e, vit d and folic acid etc), before the embryo transfer and above all, to always pray for God’s mercy & intervention

Thank you to the mummies in the house for support. The Almighty that started his miracle will perfect it to nine month. My prayer is that God will answer every one too. Love you All

Does anyone have an idea of how much laparoscopy surgery cost? I was diagnosed for ovarian dermoid cyst on both ovaries. Herbs didn't work neither did medications work. Someone mentioned Delight hospital Ibadan to me via this platform. Do you have an idea its cost?

mine was with tube blockage and it cost 150k and you will still do some other test before that which will cost like 50k again so. cos your is cyst alone it may not more than 100k try and go there to find out

Just a quick one through my wait period. I got married July 2018. Went for scan and they said I had left ovarian dermoid cyst( which must be removed through surgery) and multiple uterine fibroids with the biggest at 6cm.And I noticed I wasn't seeing the EWCM again. I sha continued my life and was praying. Though I work offshores so I was hardly in town(atimes a month out of town, other times 2month). But anytime I saw my period, I would wail. I joined a fertility boost challenge in Nov 2018. They told us to buy fertile aid, royal jelly, baking soda, vit e,d and some other supplements. I was taking them religiously, in dec, I had the ewcm, I was so happy. I and DH turned the house upside down with DTD. I saw my period that month and i wailed again. At a point, I stopped with the royal jelly because it was too expensive and finishes every 15days. I sha continued the EPO and vit e but stopped when it finished. I even bought omodara from this platform. Took it once and I was in severe cramps, I stopped immediately. In May, I met a lady at the airport, we got talking and she talked to me about herbal doctor who gave her herbs for infection and also gave her brother's wife herbs for conception and stuffs. I got interested. I contacted him and he said he was going to do herbs for me for for fibroid,infection and ovarian cyst and the herbs would help me conceive. I paid he sent two bottles with some powders and tablets. One.ofthe bottles was the fibroid, the other was for the ovarian cyst /infection. He asked me to hold on on the powder and tabs until he gives a go ahead. I started taking this thing on May 21st which was CD1-i even went offshore with it on the 6th of June. My next period was to be on the 18th of June, I didn't see anything-gave it two days still nothing and I didnt have a HPT on me. I had an OPK rather. I used the OPK and it came out positive(I have never had a positive OPK) On the 23rd of June, started purging that lasted till I was booked out of the rig on 27th of June on the grounds of food poisoning. When I got to town, i did a HPT, found out it was positive. I thought I was seeing double, I bought 2 more different brands, positive. I screamed in joy. At 8weeks, I went for scan, the fibroids were still there but no ovarian cyst and there was an active fetal pole.
Points to note:
1. I didnt have EWCM at all so I cannot even say when I ovulated.
2. I don't know if it was the herbs or the prayers my mum went for that they told her I would conceive before June ends that worked for me.
3. It doesn't matter your situation, when Gods says it's time, things will fall in place for you.

All I can say is I am grateful to God almighty. Despite the fibroids, baby is doing well and growing at the required rate and I know for sure that I will carry my baby to full term because I already dreamt about it.

I started low(40,000spu) 2caps daily but now I'm taking 3caps to make it 120,000. i hope to increase to higher dose after this bottle.

You have to increase it to 4 dose twice daily that is how Mumdave thought. The more you increase the more it works. dont wait till you finish this one start now.

So I went to the scan center for the HSG, getting there I was told to sit and after a while I was administered an injection to ease the future pain. After some minutes I was called into the X-ray room to begin the procedure. I was hinted a little on the process and I agreed. Hmmm... It happened, my worst fear happened. I no gree open leg... This mama couldn't bear the pain, it was hell... Did I say they hadn't even inserted the plastic inside and I couldn't bear the pain. They stopped at a point and encouraged me but it wasn't just happening. It felt like trying to open a concrete wall. I cried and screamed and finally it entered. They allowed me catch my breath, in the process of opening up the plastic so the can inject the fluid the plastic broke that was when they all gave up on me.
Hubby was with me all along. Words cannot explain how I felt and how I'm feeling typing this. I really don't understand what's wrong with me I feel so bad right now. I tried to encourage myself that I'm doing this for my babies but it wasn't working. Hubby told them to reschedule it and I'll have to pay more money that I don't even have. I felt so bad for him.
Please forgive me for writing this long post it wasn't intentional, I just had to pour out my heart somewhere.

Mama you should have endure and be strong all what you need is to breath in and out and focus on it, as you know is for a reason, you have to be strong in this journey of TTC if not you may not achieve your aim on time. sorry dear is not easy

Though I don't know much about fibroid treatment but I've heard doctors say the best way to get it out is by surgery depending on it size. Even some traditional doctors would recommend surgery if the size is bigger than pear. So mama, be careful of the kind of drugs you take, you wouldn't want it growing so big.

My sister I don't think there is kid here to do such and if there is left to them. When you heard information you need to share and hear people comments and view about it. Take for example have been to so many hospital all what they say about cyst is surgery not until I got to this hospital that says they dry it without surgery. This what a doctor charge 250k for surgery. So let's always learn on any information we heard no to do self medication. We may see anyone that have heard about it or even done and refused to say it due to people criticising.

I dont know d name of d injection o. But ders a sister who had fibriod, she was not married, she refused to tell anybdy n was really afraid to operate. Her menses were horrible, big clots of blood. Pad n tissue cldnt contain her twice in a month flow. From weignin 70 she reduced to 50. Wen dey decided to operate, scan showed fibriodS in d 3 layers of her womb lokin lik a 5months pregnant woman. D doctors said d womb shd b removed completely cos tws fibriod filled. Dats wen dey orderd 4d injection from Lagos 4 abt 50k for 1 shot. Gave her a month before d surgery n also build her blood from 22%. A surgery of 2 hours took 6 hours n d doctors gav up on her cos d used 4units of blood already it refused to clot. She said wen d doctors started leavin one after anoda she knew somtin was wrong, she was already tired of lyin on d table n driftd off. She heard dis song lik angels singin, You are the Reason why I lift my hands. She sang back to life. Sang it wen givin her testimony. D INJECTION only shrinkd d sizes of d fibriod to help d doctors removed dem. Some were big n odas were like cheese balls.

This is so pathetic may God have mercy. It is well thank God she survives

Mama I don't know if anyone has used this injection to shrink fibroid a Doctor be in abroad talk to me this afternoon after I scanned my resulting him on WhatsApp and he advise I use this injection to shrink the fibroid instead of surgery "You should just consider using zoladex an injection that helps to shrink fibroids instead of doing surgery" please if any mama has head about let's hear.

Read some of the posts and I felt encouraged.
I will be glad to seek your advice.
It's one year of Ttc now.
I got married as a virgin, though had a scan as an undergraduate back in 2011 that diagnosed right ovarian cyst.
In February this year I had several scans. The scan revealed dermoid cyst on both ovaries. The last scan showed Bilateral Ovarian Teratoma.
I was given some medications but it didn't get any better. Also took herbs to no avail.
I spoke to a gynaecologist, he said laparoscopy will be a better option, but the cost is scary to our purse at the moment. (400 - 500k)
Hubby and I are not prepared for this expense currently.
Pls, where can I get it done at an affordable charge. Someone mentioned OAUTH, I haven't made enquiries. Thanks.

Cyst cause delay for you my sister. all what you mentioned is what i have please if you can come to one hospital in Ibadan they dry cyst though their charges is high though mine includes tubes blockage and they will through it 150k but they are expert you can goggle DELIGHT HOSPITAL and read about them and call their customer line. i heard cyst cause most delay all what all doctors are saying is surgery but this hospital have their method to dry it

Hi sabi mama's, few months back, I was diagnosed of distal bilateral Fallopian tubal blockage. I don't know how serious the case is? When I saw my doctor at general hospital sango ota, he said I should come for tubal flushing, when I saw the doctor my mum introduce me to in Ibadan, he's a professor of medicine, (professor arowojolu) he took time to check my X-ray, he said it questionable, that it might be spasm, he made mention of laparoscropy too..... I want to ask now that can I go for another Hsg, the one I did was my first Hsg, I was kind of scared and destabilized when I went for it, now I want to go for another one, can I use the same laboratory or I change to another laboratory, I used insight laboratory the last time, it opposite general hospital sango ota, who can recommend a good laboratory for me around sango ota please help me, I want to start all over again

Hmmmm the same they told me when my own result of billetarial tubal blockage came out Doctor said that it might be spasm due to fear. Please go for Laparoscopic first it through tubes according to mama in the house when result came out and still show tubes blockage then you may go for tubes flushing and if you dont have money for Lapa pls go for tube flushing ones and for all mama that lives around that area will repond to you. best of luck ma.

its much look.150k.... I've done laparoscopy but they re not serious at the hospital I did it. they said the main hospital mandated them to make sales because that place is only for IVF issues & I believe that I will conceive naturally.

if you can afford it try it my sister and seem is negotiable

glad to hear this. may God be with the boys..... I did laparoscopy but the doctor only said we should do IVF & what we agreed on before the surgery was that"they will check if there's blockage & unblock it"... I concluded that they just want to extort someone & its not easy honestly.
did you conceive right away after the surgery?...... jist me pls, am itching to know that at least there's strong hope

honestly am just hearing this too i never knew laap can unblock tubes. i did lapa too in Sept. last year and did hsg may this year again that was how i heard tubes blocks while lapa shows tubes open am just confused.

my sister am seeing hope in it too but their charges is high i can fell it will work out for me but hmmmm money is the issue. HSG is 150k including unblock tubes and drugs i dont have doctor number o like i said our office nurse drove me down there to register me and left so am new there and i dont have any hope for the money except God may be you can try mama also through laparoscopic her tubes was unblocked and she conceived.

Sure darling, when a woman sees her period it is the lining of her uterus that is shedding. I think another logic of vitamin C helping to reduce excess period is that vitamin c also helps increase progesterone.

Do you know that women take high dose of vitamin c to bring on their period or cause an abortion. Women in desperation to remove an unwanted pregnancy. Which in my opinion i think may cause problem in the long run.

have heard so much about the hospital through many people but i know is all about money accoding to doctor they can unblock tubes during hsg so you can go there and try your luck i wish i can but i cant afford the despite someone want to help me pay half of it. hormonal profile is 45k and you must also do it as well registration is just 2k

Our office Nurse drove me down to her family hospital again today name DELIGHT HOSPITAL in challenge Ibadan i don't know if anyone heard about the place before, I interviewed people around after she left they all said is good hospital but is expensive. Doctor said he will do HSG and unblock tubes during process I don't know how true is this? Also said he will dry cyst in the process. Has anyone done this before? Is this method good? My nurse is ready to help me with the half of the bill but I want to know if it will work and if it won't have any side effect? Though I really ask questions from the doctor and he said no issue but I want to know if anyone has experience it. About the cyst drying I heard that hospital is good in it. So if you have cyst come there and dry it off. Waiting for your response mama.
