2. That is the sole jurisdiction of the assessing authority. Simply means using your experience in lieu of degree by giving you credits for it.

You have no business with a subclass 485 visa.
I can only advise, the ultimate decision lies solely with the assessing authority.
ACS likes people to have at least 3yrs experience as they normally cut down on the years of experience. However, your masters degree may give you advantage provided your experience is really system analyst.

Study option is your best bet. Go for a relevant course say MSc in Information Technology that is accredited, you will be fine eventually. Of course, it is not small money.

Your exprience does not match with your HND Computer Science and such NOT able to get positive assessment with ACS. You need 6years relevant experience in order to get positive assessment.

She is eligible for PR and her occupation is on the list. She won't get any points from experience whether she uses her HND or MSc. I would advise she should use her MSc so that she can get 15points from qualification and 25points from her age. She really need to do extremely well in English Test.

my wife has a distinction in computer science, Ond level,
Distinction in computer science, HND level and she graduated with 4.89 on 5.00 scale on Masters level (Masters in Information systems)..... also, she has 5 years (post HND) work experience in an IT firm.......We are considering on moving over to Australia for another Masters in Information Technology by research or course work.

My question now is:

You guys have been keeping this thread alive. Thanks to you all. Sss are known for fast tracking their recruitment. Supposedly, the last interview(oral) will be in Abuja. Last cadet officers were 385 in number. It shows that an average of 10persons were selected from each state. I don't know the predetermined number for course28 but I am sure it won't be less than 10persons per state. We should be expecting more than that or 10 too. I am yet to clarify the exact date within the year when the successful officers will be called for training at ikeja. Sss is a wonderful job. Not just for the juicy allowances and other incentives but the joy derived from doing what you dream,wish and long for. God bless you all.

There is no point tongue lashing one another. It's not necessary. We all know that the number of applicants in each state are far more than the available slots. Let's keep praying that God will cause his face to shine on us. Those of you asking of past questions from those that have written in other states, plz cut the crap. Each state was given the power to prepare her own question. The bottom line is that questions will border on general knowledge. The insecurity level in our nation has called for more hands on deck ; the reason for this recruitment. In a short while, immigration, nscdc , naf, npf etc will all resume another round of recruitment exercise just to make up for the low number of existing security operatives in virtually all the law enforcement agents. If one misses sss, there is immigration, nscdc, fire service, na f, police etc to try. Don't be discouraged by 'who know man' system that some persons might want to talk you into just keep believing in God. You must not have someone in any place u are seeking employment but God knows everyone and can use anyone to achieve his aim for you. Plz let's be constructive, encouraging and supportive in our post here. Let's work together as one. I want to sincerely plead with those that I have attempted this sss test before to please tell the family the kind of questions to expect to enable us align our studies better.
