For the young man Asake to have cleaved to his mother alone means the father at some point when he was growing up abandoned him too

Asake may not remember now who was there when he was 5 but he will definitely remember who treated him well when he was 16 - 25 years of age, at that stage in life a child will know who showed him love. The problem both parents had with the young man was that at some point both abandoned him.

That said, Asake should be a man and take care of his father, mothers are not always right, they are manipulative most of the times. When he marries, he will also understand why men feels abandoned at old age.

In summary, love yourself and plan for retirement as much as you love and plan for your family.

I am totally against the killings going on across Nigeria from different armed groups in different regions and Benue in particular, I see politics in everything happening, hopefully this dark chapter will end soon
