We have a very tiny budget. TO subsidse fuel to N52 we need to find something like 25 trillion naira, and it might not be enough.



Because in 1973, we brought in subsidy, which meant fuel was sold below its production cost. Result, crashed refineries...due to losses.

Niger and Ghana have working refineries because they don't have subsides.




Because your government is bad at state level. And federal. The minute we become a producer economy, oil theft would fall.

Simples.




Remove subsidy totally, and fuel importation would end, as domestic refining becomes profitable.

RIght now, government is trying to force dangote prices down...and the truth is, it is not possible.

FG should stop importation completely, encourage DRL by giving him crude in Naira. Also they should subsidize DRL output to manage inflation and high cost of living.
