Wife of football legend, Amara Kanu's fitness book titled "Healthy Living with Amara Kanu" was officially launched at the Arsenal Emirates Stadium Friday evening 14th July 2017, with over 100 guests in attendance as it was an evening of celebration.

Friends and family came from far and near to celebrate with the latest author in town... her parents from Nigeria, award winning actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and luxury designer Alexandra Amosu were also in attendance.

Her husband – Legendary footballer Nwankwo Kanu, children, in-law Ogbonna Kanu were all there to celebrate the big day.

Olurotimi Akinosho better known by his stage name, Rotimi , is an American singer-songwriter, actor and model. He's best known for his role as Darius Morrison on the Starz Network's Boss, and currently stars as Dre on Power.

Rotimi auditioned and subsequently got his first acting role on Boss (TV series) as drug dealer Darius Morrison. 44-year-old British-Nigerian Lawyer, Funke Abimbola was recently honoured by Queen Elizabeth II as a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to diversity in the legal profession and to young people.

Funke was recognised by the monarch in her 91st birthday honours list for 2017.


In her words:
“I was absolutely stunned when I received an official letter from the Cabinet Office informing me of this in early May but have had to keep this news confidential until now,”

However, the pretty lawyer has got the media buzzing with her CV, which was reportedly believed to be between 22 - 23 pages.
