obixcel: Lol... Trumpy Supporter... In Legal Language “Inaccurate” does not mean “False” According to Robert Mueller Statement he only disputed some of the information about the evidence that was obtained. Robert Mueller did not dispute that Trump instructed Cohen to lie to Congress. But as always Trump & Trumpy Supporters are too slow to understand the basic differences... |

obixcel: Lol... “Inaccurate” and “False” are two different things. Robert Mueller statement does not explicitly state that the Entire Buzzfeed Report is “False”. Rather what Robert Mueller Statement does is carefully disagree with certain portions of the report as regards to an eye witness account. Robert Mueller Public Statement was carefully worded. It states “the characterization of documents and testimony are not accurate” That’s quite different from stating that the Entire Buzzfeed Report is “False” Pay attention to the keywords “Inaccurate” & “False” |

raumdeuter: Well you made it seems like U.S. Authorities can wake up & decide to cancel a valid Green Card without a specific reason. That was the reason I quoted that specific word. While the U.S. can cancel a non-immigrant Visa without a reason the same cannot be said for a Green Card. If you noticed I didn’t quote the “Visa” Part because that was a valid assumption. Thanks for clarifying though. 1 Like |

raumdeuter: You said reasons? You made it seem like President Barack Obama unilaterally decided to remove Nigeria from countries eligible to participate in the Diversity Visa Lottery. That’s not simply the case. Besides you also used the word “reasons” meaning that there were several factors that warranted the removal of Nigeria from the Diversity Visa Lottery List. Without being condescending there is a big difference between reason & reasons. Nigeria was removed from the list because of one simple reason which is Nigeria has sent more than 50,000 people to the United States in the Last Five years. That’s is the only reason. There are no more reasons. 1 Like 1 Share |

raumdeuter: Are you sure about this statement OR are you simply making generalizations? To the best of my Knowledge a Green Card can only be revoked on two basis: A) If the Green Card was Obtained by Fraud OR B) If the Green Card Holder commits a serious crime of moral turpitude President Donald J Trump cannot just wake up & decide to revoke raumdeuter Green Card for no reason. The court will definitely strike down such orders because it simply lacks merit. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: American Politics Thread - 2024 Elections — Biden’s Presidency! by LUCAS99: 1:31am On Jan 08, 2019 |
raumdeuter: That’s misinformation. Nigeria was no longer among eligible countries because Nigeria has sent more than 50,000 individuals to the United States within the last five years. So Nigeria no longer meets the minimum threshold necessary for participation in the Diversity Visa Lottery. That’s simply the law and it was correctly applied under this scenario. |

President Donald J Trump Promises: 1) He promised that Mexico would pay for the wall but suddenly wants Taxpayers like me & you to fund an expensive border wall that will only solve about 30% of the problem. 2) He promised that he would replace Obamacare with Trumpcare & it would become cost effective and cover more people. But insurance companies are now informing Americans that the abandonment of individual mandate will not only increase health insurance premiums by 30% to 40% per year but will also cover fewer people 3) He promised that he would release his tax returns after he took office. He hasn’t released them yet. 4) He promised that he would solve our budget deficit. Instead the budget deficit is expected to double under his leadership. 5) He promised that he would solve our trade deficit but after he launched his trade wars, our trade deficit surged to an all time high. 6) He promised us a better deal with Iran but under the new Trump Deal Iran can pursue nukes Today. President Donald J Trump is nothing but a con man and come November 3rd, 2020 We the American People will send him packing from the White House and back to his Mar-a-Lago Resort in Palm Beach Florida. God Bless the United States of America!!! 1 Like |

Anduku: Why should America fund the Border Wall? He promised that Mexico must pay for the Border Wall. So let Mexico pay for it. |

President Trump Promised that Mexico will pay for the Border War during his election campaign. Can Trump Supporters tell me why the United States Government is still shut down since Mexico is funding the Border War? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Itiswellblessed: I’m not an immigration lawyer. I just have a basic knowledge regarding the United States Immigration Laws. I have people that I passed through what you’re passing through today & they all survived. Trust me, you case is easy. Some people here in the United States are in a worst situation. It may take time for you to get your papers but it will surely end in praise. It takes anywhere from 5 years - 7 years for most people that came in with a visitor visa to regularize their stay. As long as you go about your normal business & don’t do anything that would get you arrested then nobody is going to deport you. Don’t Drive without a License Don’t shoplift Don’t ride an Uber or Lyft without paying Don’t engage in disruptive behavior As long as you stay in your own lane nobody is coming to get you simply live your life as you would if you had your papers together... Don’t forget you’re black... Blacks don’t crack... Don’t crack under this simple pressure... I repeat your case is easy. Just take it day by day there is no rush... Nobody is chasing you... 7 Likes |

TheCongo2: Ok. I just read it up & it says that since she doesn’t have any status anymore in the United States her case will be referred to an immigration judge & a notice to appear for deportation proceeding will be sent out to her. She needs to explore the Marriage route first, hopefully it will work. Last thing she needs is trying to bring attention to herself by applying... That would even put her in more trouble since she will now be in deportation proceeding if the Asylum Application is denied... My best advice remains the same keep a low profile until you find somebody to marry... God forbid she gets apprehended she can always apply for Asylum before an immigration judge... The Asylum option still remains on the table & open for her so their is no rush... |

TheCongo2: She has waited more than the One year grace period usually given to people entering the United States for the first time to file for Asylum... I highly doubt that her case will be referred to an immigration judge... It will certainly be rejected for failure to file within one year of entering the United States, the law is very clear on that... Whether an immigration attorney can exploit any loophole in the Asylum Law I won’t really know except she speaks to one... Most immigration lawyers usually charge about $100 for an hour of consultation... Op can afford to spend such amount to make inquiries regarding the possibility... |

TheCongo2: Yes, if only if she is detained by ICE & presented before an immigration judge for the commencement of a Deportation Proceeding... The judge will ask if she has a fear for her life if the government decides to return her to Nigeria all she needs to do is say YES & then the immigration judge will give her an Asylum Application Form to file with the court. Under this scenario the Immigration Judge will decide her fate during court proceedings rather than USCIS. This is called Application for Asylum with an immigration Court under deportation proceeding. 5 Likes |

TheCongo2: My Brother I wonder why we Nigerians like beating around the bush... I’m a very straight forward person so I hate playing games... Op options is limited right now. Op has two options to regularize her stay: A) Marriage: It could be broken into two i) Genuine Marriage ii) Arrangee Marriage We both know the pros & cons so no need to discuss that A) Asylum It could be broken into three i) Asylum before an immigration court ii) Withholding of removal iii) Protection against the UN Convention of torture These three will only come up if God forbid Op is apprehended & presented before an immigration Judge Dangerous Advice: i) Asking Op to return back to Nigeria without regularizing her stay. 15 Likes |

TheCongo2: My mistake... Somebody said it was a he on a previous post & I followed the lead without making enquiries my bad... I have corrected my mistakes Now I understand why she is scared... A man cannot be panicking like this... She also needs to join Nigerian Churches There should be a Redeemed Christain Church of God, Winner Chapel OR Deeper Life Bible Church around where she can meet fellow Nigerian Women... |

Babyvet: I have read the Op posts several times & my response remains same. Op should never go back to Nigeria until she regularizes her stay, what part of my response is difficult to understand... The Final Verdict is Mission Abort... Don’t go back to Nigeria. 3 Likes |
