If Activison had only 1 dev studio that released games every 2 or 3 years and buttressed those releases with DLCs and tons of free content, dont you think it would be better than having 3 different studios pushing out games every year?

Part of the reason why BF4 was successful was because the game had like a 3 year life span with lots of content. They even released CTE where regular gamers could help test upcoming DLC releases of the game.
But they've since scrapped CTE. I just read that they've also canceled Chapter 6 for BFV. At this point, EA and DICE are their own worst enemy.

I agree bruh... spacing games would be far better cuz, then people will miss it, time to think well and gather feedback etc. So, that i can even focus in one damnit.
With every new release of a game from a company the previous ones suffer. "New is always better" for some reason. And when its that close its even worse.
That's why there will never be a GTA release that does bad as far as profit and content go.

I agree, COD could do better if they wanna do it every year. We all know they have the capacity to. But, unless one would wanna create an FPS abomination like Hardline. It would have to be about shooting people and war.
But but, they could be more creative with the genre though. They got people they pay to think. Time to earn their keep

They have 3 game development companies of course they'd have to release yearly. And they are pulling it off as being super relevant. I don't see how that is a problem

Sure having female fighters in WW2 is kind of odd, but personally i dont see the problem. There were female resistance fighters in Poland fighting against the Germans. It's just a game. Modern Warfare has female characters and the world no end.

what I'm looking at in this fps war has is that they are bound to be ups and downs

remember how battlefield 3 owned everywhere battlefield 4 blew people out of water and battlefield 1 change the series entirely

COD was being lackluster and average at best but now look at COD gunning down fortnite and Apex

I know EA and Dice will do their homework and produce a good game that's not always about graphics

Yea, BF3 and 4 were good but, they never did better than COD. COD never had a "down" well unless IW, that BF1 outsold. Other than that COD has always been on top and outsold BF. And COD are still successfully proving that that was a mistake that won't repeat itself.
I hear BF are going back to 2 or 3 (I'm not sure) years gap release. They're done with the competition. At this point they just wanna get their own portion of cake

To be sincere though. They messed up in Battlefield 5 for being fvcking stupid and listening to Feminists. Maybe they wanna give it time to blow away

MOH was great. I enjoyed it. Battlefield has given COD more than a head start. It was catching up but, after this break, Battlefield have lost the FPS war shooter competition for gaming-ever

No ones saying Nintendo is competing with Xbox or ps since those ones have better high profile games but what can be argued in favour of Nintendo is their fun exclusives games and before you say they are cartoonish remember that we play games to catch fun not just to stare at graphics else might as well jump to the pc wagon rather than ps and Xbox.

Before the Wii U and switch, Nintendo lacks 3rd party software but not until the Wii U and now the switch did they start to get good third party softwares like Witcher 3, wolfeinstein, residents evil etc so to me it’s more than comparable to the Xbox one or PS4 in terms of games and will carry on into the next gen when the ps5 and Xbox whatever they wanna call it releases.

Also you categorizing it as a mobile is just an opinion that’s gonna stuck to only your own head whereas other guys like me who have looked real and thoroughly through what it has to offer will keep on enjoying the console.
