lindasweden: Thank you very much for this long-awaited information. I have been thinking about this, and people keep telling me that they don ask any question. Thank you very much. Remain blessed. This is a recent development. All the questions I was asked were what was already in my document. Like; who is your sponsor and how did you get your accomodation letter? Nothing major. No one ever complained about the embassy drilling them with questions. I guess they decided to change. |

bammike21: Just payslips no statement of account? Because my dad is self employed. He’s a legal practitioner and he wants to be my sponsor. I’ve been thinking of the document he’ll present as proof of funds. He doesn’t have payslips. Just bank statements. So I’m confused. I’ll appreciate it if you can enlighten me on how to go about this. Thanks. Send me a mail |

1murphy1: Please I will need your little advice on this, is it advisable for me to pay for a semester fee now before proceeding for Visa processing or I should pay for the one year tuition. You'll have to pay whatever the school asked you to pay. If it's per semester, then pay the first semester. If it's for a year, you'll have to pay. You don't have much choice. |

Adetaju: Do you know the prospect after school? Do you have to return home? Or can work, or travel to another country? You don't have to return after studies. Like I said earlier, there are skilled and unskilled jobs here and you can get a full time or part time job even while studying. You can as well apply for TRC after your visa expires. Also, If you're still employed after you must have graduated, your company can help you obtain a work permit. Poland is a schengen country, so you can travel to other schengen state and you can only work there if you have work permit. |

I'm my city, very few people speak English, so Google translate has been a big help. I'm also learning the language. The people are reserved |

N900,000 was enough for the credit card limit thing while some people are arguing with me here when I told them that N2 million can be enough for those who will be studying at the University of Opole. You are a child of God. Stay blessed. Thank you dear. I used pay slip for my application. I don't know much about credit card. |

lindasweden: Those with N4 million do not get their visa because they failed to submit all the required documents while those with N2 million got their visas because they followed the instructions of the Polish embassy. It's not all about the huge amount of money but it's all about submitting the required documents. If you had visited the Polish embassy website you wouldn't make this comment about the monetary requirement because that is the requirement as of today. Maybe you didn't apply to any Universities because if you do you should be able to visit the Polish embassy website, but I will give you the opportunity to access the information regarding the financial requiremnts by providing the website here for you.
https://www.gov.pl/web/nigeria-en/d-type-national-visa I don't think it is about submitting the required documents. I did everything right the first time and I used 1.6m but was denied. Then I appealed with 900k and was granted visa. I met some people that used 650k and 700k that were granted visa in their first try. It's just luck I guess. |

iamadonis2: Anyone in Poland long enough to answer these questions?
1. Is the academic curriculum one that the average Nigerian who went to Community Secondary School can easily adapt to?
2. Do the tutors take their time to attend to the academic needs of a foreign student?
3. I have been thinking about this, too: Will having good grades from a Polish University afford one the opportunity of switching to a University in Germany?
4. I just read that Poland has the 11th best economy in Europe. Facts aside, does this economy power reflect in the financial well-being of foreign students (Nigerians)?
5. Lastly, to you who has been in Poland and reading this now, has it been worth it? I haven't been long in Poland but from my observation 1. Anyone can adapt if you're willing to study hard. The courses here are totally different from what you were taught in Nigeria. Talking from experience, I started my MSc in March from Nigeria and it wasn't easy, at some point I almost quit cos the lecturers don't teach, they assume you know it. 2. The lecturers are also flexible. They always schedule seperate meetings for students who maybe have difficulty in their courses. 3. I really can't say. 4. In my city, a foreign student can survive. The cost of living is relatively ok. Plus, as a student you can get a job, part time or full time. 5. It is worth it. I know some people look down on the country because they feel their economy is not as great as Germany's but it is a great country and if you really want to make a good life for yourself here, you can. Those who are into IT also make it big time here. There are so many IT related jobs here. If you can also speak English and certain foreign languages, you can easily get maybe a customer rep job. I've never had issues with racism but I've gotten a lot of stares when I walk on the street, they don't see a lot of black folks esp in town. The people are very reserved, I guess it's the language barrier and their nature. That being said, everything I've said here is from my experience from my short stay here. Between, my city is Gliwice. |

royal200: I believe it's same thing. Or where is the authentication done? If it's embassy, definately it's same..how do I start? Authentication is different from legalization. Authentication is done at the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja. While the legalization is done at the embassy. You must authenticate before you can legalize any document. |

Soraco57: ......Gracias bro!! I do appreciate, so how much is the minimum that must be in the account of the sponsor and aside statement of account , what other documents must the sponsor provide, thanks They don't need the statement of account. All they need is the payslip showing the amount the sponsor receives monthly. You need Certificate of Employment and a sponsorship letter. You're welcome. |

Soraco57: Congratulations bro! In the issue of finance, which one is the best, the cc or the payslips of a thing, supposing is a sponsor, must I be related with the sponsor? 2, like how much is enough to. Be on the cc if one is considering the options Thank you. I used payslip. In my opinion, it is easier to obtain. You must not be related to your sponsor. I have no idea about the amount for cc but for Payslip, from 650k and above. |

royal200: Congrats please I need help. My school.said legalisation is important before admission. How can I go about all this. Right now,I don't even knw where to start from Thank you. I didn't legalize before getting admission. I only authenticated my documents. I don't know how to help you in that regard. Unless you look for someone who already has a date to assist you in legalizing the documents or changing the school since you haven't started the application process. |

Hi guys. I was given a visa and have been in Poland for about 2weeks. This place is great. The first time I applied, I was denied based on No.3(Finance). Didn't make any sense because my Financial documents were ok. Between, I used a payslip. After some days, I appealed using a different sponsor and I still used a payslip, I was given the visa. It wasn't an easy process. Getting admission was easy for me but the visa process was a different journey. To those of you still trying to get an admission, or still in the visa application stage, stay strong and I wish you all the best. |
