If you're legalizing just your WAEC, then it's 30euros. If you're not doing it yourself, you probably have to pay the person, I don't know how much. This will be done at the Embassy

If you're getting an Eligibility letter, I doubt there's a charge for it cos I wasn't charged for mine. This one will be done at the Ministry of Education.

Oh wow! Congratulations u passed the first huddle, now u have to wait another 15-60days to get a reply from them. Were u calling everyday? Anyways I attended a conference today online with my school admission officer and I was told that our documents required to apply for visa would be ready three months to resumption, that means I have just three months to go through the visa process. Also the guy said if I want a deadline date extension I could request for, or even if I pay my fees after the deadline it will still be accepted but I just have to pay before June so I can have time to apply for the visa.
Back to you, when is your resumption date?

Yes, I called every Thursday but because of my lectures, someone helped me do the call and it got through.
I was supposed to resume March 1, cos of the visa wahala I had to extend the date till April. I am currently runnng the program online.

Yes, I've paid my tuition fee. After which I received my acceptance letter. You have a deadline to pay your fees right? So you have to pay before the deadline.
It depends on you, If you want to book the appointment before paying the tuition fee. I'll advise you to pay the fee before booking appointment, that is, if you're willing to go through the hurdles of booking visa appointment. Between, I've done my visa interview after more than 2 months of calling endlessly.

You're not wrong oh. I'm doing mine online for now and since we started, it's been one assignment or quiz to the other. We never even start sef. The good thing is that the lecturers are flexible and nice. So you can chat them up to extend your deadline or help you out with any difficulties. I'm in engineering and I'm not going to lie, the courses are heavy. You gats read like jackey.

True. The situation is annoying. I have a feeling some of the people that got appointment date didn't make the call. I think they paid. I called and it got through, it was ringing but they didn't answer the line. So their actions at the embassy are intentional. I've been calling since the beginning of January and it's still the same. I'm thinking of canceling my admission and looking for another country to pursue my Msc. If by the end of next week and we still have to go through this process to book, I'll cancel my admission. It's too stressful abeg. If we didn't have useless leaders at the hełm of affairs, we won't be in this mess.

I think we all have to take a stand against the polish embassy's unexplained rejections. I can not imagine another embassy rejects student's applications without providing justifiable reasons to back it up. Even US embassy will find one excuse to give someone. It is heartless for an embassy to deny someone for the same thing over and over. There is a global financial crisis, and these has affected not only struggling Nigerians but even Polish citizens too. I can not imagine struggling Nigerians paying 80 euro for application and appeal over and over, submitting the documents only for one idiot to decide to rubbish. How else does someone justify the purpose of traveling to Poland? Payment of full tuition? 12 months accommodation booking coupled with every other supporting documents? I know Visa is not a right, likewise; it is a privilege and when applicants do the right things; it is absolutely foolish and heartless to get denied.

If they have had enough applicants, they can as well make the point by putting a stop to all applications. For a broke country to try to leverage the covid pandemic to continuously scam struggling Nigerians is a very bad idea. And if not for the nature and the idiots we have in power in Nigeria, a country the size of Kano with a combined population less than Ekiti and Lagos should not be able to treat Nigerians as such.

I also got admission in same school. Booking visa appointment has been hell.

the message DAAD sent me is that the application period for the Nigerian-German Postgraduate Training Programme Master 2020 will start on the 1st February and end on the 21st February

I am yet to see the "Nigerian-German Postgraduate Training Programme" on the list of the funding Programme.

Sorry about the misinformation. You have to apply to the universities yourself. My last sentence still stands.

Yes. Actually, they wrote exams then, unlike now that when you get shortlisted you go for oral interview.

Her profile is plausible to be awarded in the 2018 edition. She must have made a huge impression at the interview session and compliment her performance with a sound SOP.

Her WAEC result was ok. A's B's and C's. She's not a member of any professional body and then, she didn't have any awards. I can only say she was lucky.

Enugu State. No publications at all. She didn't even think she'll make it. She left for her MSc in UK around January 2018, she's through though.

My younger sister had 2:2 in computer engineering and she got the scholarship. She just finished sef.
People should just apply and pray that they get selected.

All this arguments here and there. I graduated with 2.2 Chemical Engineering. I have applied for this scholarship twice and got shortlisted. I just couldn't get it in the final list. My candid advice to the new applicants is apply if u have the relevant qualifications. Upload all the requested documents, pray and forget what people are saying here to discourage you. I might give it a try again, even though I am above 30 years now. Good luck to you all.

If you can't find it there, it means DAAD has not put the option there. They'll still put it. You just have to check constantly. Same thing happened last year.

This is how I normally do mine.
I use a picture editing app(RealDraw or Photoshop) to reduce the size. For example, if it was 8000 x 5000, you can reduce it to 900 x 700 or even less. That way, when you use a jpg to pdf converter, you still get less than 100kb for one document. And even when you zoom out, the quality is still good
