I Think the word "strike" is not approprate to use in this situation. it is no strike-just closure of the sch. ya, the two forces are both at fault. but the management should consider that it is just a very little bit of the students that participated on the distruction-maybe 0.1%. So the mgt should not hold the remaining 99.99% to ransome and tie down their future.

Barely 2mths after resumption from the ASUU strike, our great university has been closed down again and rumours has it that the school may not re-open till january. this is too harsh on us. Federal Govt pls intervene and do something!

This issue is a double sided one. I think they are stingy in a way- but we have to consider that the cost of living outside is very high especially for foreigners. When you consider the amount such people use in processing visa or worst still - the risk they take to migrate illegally, you will see that its worth being stingy!

Well, as for me, nairaland has really given me something useful to do with my life especially now with the annoying on-going A.S.U.U. strike. Moreover, in my school (A.B.U.), there is a free laptop browzing facility. When you check your box daily and read the dailys, you get bored doing the same thing on and on.
