Thanks sir. But suggestions, the mistake wasnt from me at first. phabulous88: you’ve had your International passport and certificate for maybe years now and you didn’t notice that your DOB in the documents is the wrong one?
How come it’s now that you received your WES result that you realized that the DOB on your passport and on your certificate are the wrong ones, and that the one on WES is the right one?
You know what you have done in the past.
Whatever you decide to do, it’s fine. |

Thanks alot. This is very helpful and eye opening. Let me think of the next step. And also start gathering materials. Goodnigga: It seems no one is answering your question, yeah it is because your question is somehow difficult to answer directly. I will answer based on the info given to us then when I was still a student in my French school. I have finished and I'm post ITA. I am not very frequent here as before so I will be elaborate since you are a novice:
That, TEF prep classes is not a function of gathering materials alone but strategies. We were told that only CE( Reading) & CO(Listening) can materials sourcing work for, albeit with a strong foundation of French. Those two can be blazed.
However, for EE(Writing) & EO(Speaking), you need more of strategies & structuring. Therefore, only a tutor that has written TEF and passed or has probably helped others to pass can really help you, if you really want to pass TEF & not JUST LEARN French. Also, that a TEF examiner is not a guarantee that he can make you pass. He too must have written and passed to be of help. A TEF examiner is like our Nigerian Maths graduate that is now a WAEC examiner. He's provided with marking scheme, answers and manual to follow. Give him the same exam, he may not pass.
So dear, your best bet is to find someone that knows French & has passed TEF. To learn French & prepare for TEF is a long time. It is better to start well from the go to avoid time wasting. As for using Duolingo, that app is for general users or a supplement to main classes with a tutor, otherwise, using Duo to prepare for TEF is like a tortoise running a 1000m race. I hope that I have been helpful a bit. |

Greetings all good people, I just got a french tutor as I plan to write TEF to boost my point for EE, I know nothing in french and I dont know how the TEF exam is. Please can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to prepare for and pass. My tutor not familiar with the TEF, tutor is from the French speaking country around Nigeria. Please any useful material I can use to learn and direct his teaching, I already downloaded the doulingo app. |

Thanks alot. Yes am already preparing for another IELTS. dianeOzark: Write ielts again the both of you...try and max out in at least two of the 4, write French exam, and finish ur Pgd evaluate it with ur Bsc to have 2 or more degrees. This should help increase ur scores. This is because once U turn 30 u lose 5 points so for every age after 30 u lose another 5 points. In your case you’ve lost 20 points automatically so u need to get those scores back. Also ur ielts score was low. So by doing the 3 things I stated above you should be able to pull in more points in order to get ITA. |

Thanks for your responds, first interview was really shot. Althoug i was tense and shaken but here is it. Vo = hi good morning, me =good morning, pass me your passport and 120, i did, immediately she asked, why did u chose Idaho, i chose Isu because its a good in area of health and labouratory research, also i got a tuition waiver which make it easy for me, why did u chose mcb= its a known fact that the health sector in Nigeria is a very competitive on having this degree will place me in a better competitive position with others in the field most expecially multinational pharmaceutical companies Adhheir: It's going to be almost the same questions as MSC or PhD, why the course, what it'll do for you? Why not Nigeria? Can you afford it(with an SOA) that shows you can... Post your first interview transcript let's see what went wrong the first time |

Same lady interviewed me, she only asked two questions, although i was already distabilized befor getting there, she didnt give me the opportunity to show my toefl or my waiver from the school. Well am just going to relax for now and differ my admission, i want to rewrite another toefl and score higher, and probably get a travel experience. I know am going to study come spring, my dreams cant die like that. Dont worry we will make it. Saying thanks to all who have always been of help here @ Lagosismyhome, @ inperiuxxx and all i cant mention tunapawizzy: Good day people...my application was denied today at Abuja embassy...I plan to reapply as my school is resuming on 16th of august...I was interviewed by d young white lady at window 9; here's my transcript, kindly help assess; Me: good morning ma Vo: she signalled and says pass me ur document ( den I passed passport and I20) Vo: why did u choose prairie view? Me: I chose pv because the cis curriculum at pv integrates data science, electronic commerce and information security into d study plan. This will give me a well rounded exposure to advance my career as a data analyst when I return after my study. ( I wanted to keep talking but she cut me short..... Vo: who is sponsoring u Me: my elder sister...she owns an event management and catering services company Vo: have u travelled before Me: No All through she was typing and m not sure she looked at me for more dan 2 secs
Vo: what did u study for undergraduate Me: I studied physics Vo: and u r going to study what? Me : computer Information systems Then she typed for like 30-40 seconds after which she passed my passport, I20 and a white paper dt states u r not eligible under section 214(b) I was fairly composed during d interview but I feel I was not given enough chance to express my professional ties as I am employed Please where did I go wrong...and what can I correct to improve my chances. How soon can I get a new date in lagos....my school resumes August 16

Thats what i want to do next, although she didnt even ask me. But its all good, let me keep Hoping imperiouxx: Why would you accept to do another BS degree and in microbiology, which you've done before?
That's where the problem lies. Find a masters level course that will give the opportunity to go for PharmD degree in the nearest future. |

Ok ma, working on another respons LagosismyHome: Then maybe you should have applied for this and a masters... get the visa with a masters and make the switch inside the US .... one Bsc to another in exactly the same field might not be the best idea
Just practise and prepare well for your interview . Others have gotten like this so it possible even if it not the recommended approach |
Travel › Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 13 by lullu: 2:50pm On Jul 03, 2018 |
Yes its another bsc in same field, but my intention is to switch. To the field i have been practicing on pharmacy LagosismyHome: Bsc to Bsc is possible but more difficult.... and then one Bsc in Mcb and you want to go for another MCB.
You do know that very difficult to sell or did I read it wrong . I am not discouraging you but your response has to be on point for this to sell |

Pls all the Expact in here help a sister #lagsoismyhome #imperouxx And all good people livvyBee: You people keep saying this thing "having this degree will place me in a better competitive position with others in the field". This may work in Nigeria but it is not a good enough reason for the embassy to grant you a visa. There are at least 5 other better reasons that you can give for deciding on a degree. Where do your interest and ambitions and career plans come in before you are thinking of competing with other people in your field? |
