The blame lies squarely on Ibom Air and the NCAA. The level of incompetence and irresponsibility is top notch... You claim the lady made other international travellers to miss their flights... So these international travellers would have travelled without their luggages ? Remember you claimed their luggages will be brought with another flight.. This lady in question must have booked her ticket and probably had her luggage within allowed limits as stated on her flight ticket .. but it seems when it was time to board, you prevented her from doing so with her luggage probably because you provided a smaller plane unable to pickup the Luggages of all travellers accommodated onboard... Who is really to be blamed for such incompetence and irresponsibility? And the writer stated that this traveller has had such nasty experience with same airline earlier... Who is monitoring the local airlines to prevent such nonchalant attitude in the first place...? Obviously it's same NCAA .. Why does such incompetence not happen on international reputable airlines ..? It's time our local airlines grow up and know they are rendering a service paid for by travellers.. Islie: |
"If Ghana voted Saturday and everybody knew the winner 24hrs later even without being made official and yet this INEC man says they learned from him. What exactly did they learn from you? Is it the way Nigeria's presidential results were announced after 4-5 days of meddling with the results to achieve the pre-planned? Or the way you spend billions to buy machines that you never intended to use? Ghanians saw their results live and no one disputed it. To come out and comment on Ghana's successful elections is a insult to both Nigerians and Ghanians alike..." Apt response... |

The Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmood Yakubu, has commended the recently concluded Ghana’s general election, adding that Ghana "learnt from Nigeria in the area of managing constituency election result." The INEC chairman, who has come under fire in Nigeria for controversial general elections in 2019 and 2023, spoke on the Ghana's general elections. Yakubu highlighted the innovations and political stability in Ghana as key factors in the smooth conduct of its 2024 presidential election. Ghana’s ex-president John Mahama won the country’s presidential election held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, after his main opponent, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, conceded defeat. The VP confirmed that he had called his opponent, Mahama — the National Democratic Congress candidate and former president — to congratulate him, saying in a statement, “The people of Ghana have spoken and they have voted for change at this time. We respect this with all humility.” According to AFP, the Election Commission said the official results were likely to be announced by Tuesday. The INEC Chairman, cited the perseverance of the main opposition candidate, a former vice president and the current President, Nana Akufo-Addo who contested multiple elections before achieving success. “Rarely in Ghana do you see people moving from one party to another with every general election. So, that is important. “It provides stability. It also provides their supporters (with) stability. So, there are people who have supported political parties for many years. So, whether the party is in power or opposition, they stick to the political party,” he added. “The second thing for me is the lesson that Ghana also learnt from Nigeria in the area of managing constituency election results. Until the last election in Ghana, all results come to the Electoral Commission’s headquarters in Accra; which is parliamentary and presidential. “Although Ghana is not a federal system, they learnt from Nigeria where you have returning officers who announce results for parliamentary elections in the various constituencies around the country. Only the presidential election results come to Accra. “In Nigeria, this is what we have done and they borrowed a leave from us, and this is the second time they are implementing that. That is why, as you can see, the declaration of the presidential election result was a lot faster than it used to be in the past,” he explained. Expressing satisfaction with the process, Yakubu stated, “We are grateful that the election has gone very well. The process and its outcome so far have been commendable, and we continue to support our colleagues in Ghana’s Electoral Commission.” The defeat in Saturday’s election ends two terms in power for the governing New Patriotic Party under Akufo-Addo, marked by Ghana’s worst economic crisis in years, involving high inflation and a debt default. Unfortunately, the Rivers State Governor brought this upon himself and the state... I really don't see the dynamics changing at the Appeal Court unless the Rivers State Government can successfully challenge the jurisdiction of the Federal high court in its judgement as the Rivers State appropriation Bill is the exclusive preserve of the Rivers State high court... Unless proven otherwise.. |
Sorry, Mr. Governor of Rivers State, nobody ambushed you! You simply were not ready to govern the state. Remember that after you returned from signing your so-called peace agreement, you were warned by several people including Ijaw Elders who advised you to botch the peace agreement, but you responded by saying that no price is too much to pay for peace.... Your greatest undoing was withdrawing the case from court after the court earlier authorised then Speaker ( Ehie) to function and coercing the then Speaker (Ehie) to step down and become your chief of staff. That's when you gave yourself away!. You simply were not ready to govern the state... You can't just wake up and choose not to recognise the same set of assembly members and speakership after you pledged to recognise them and even released resources to them when you returned from your Abuja trip of signing your "peace agreement"... Unfortunately, you got yourself there by yourself.. nobody ambushed you.. Note: When dining with your enemy, always use a long spoon...else you're gonna learn the hard way! |
One thing with Sowore is that he fears nobody... He knew what was awaiting him but he chose to face it squarely by traveling down to Nigeria from the U.S.A... No to Tyranny..! |
Ladipodeal:Guys, be careful.. do your due diligence to avoid stories that touch....

Lol ![]() This quote below really got me laughing out loud.. patriotic deal indeed.. “The Nigerian Senate is an Assembly of accomplished and successful professionals, administrators and captains of industries, who are not driven by these often touted egregious pecuniary bits, rather for their patriotic zeal in the nation’s quest to breathe life to Nigeria’s political and socio-economic dry bones.” |

We are just observing the judiciary.. ![]() Impeachment in April.. Judgement in July.. meanwhile there are thousands of prisoners awaiting trial for several years in Nigeria prisons... Common man in Nigeria, how far ? |

It's well even in the well.. The Government don't really care about the citizens... I do not understand how all the domestic airlines in Nigeria will be allowed to increase airfare to 150k for a 1hr flight and our government cannot stop this or call them to order... Yet they are busy using DSS to pursue aboki upandan.. |
When you see Egypt and Mozambique play... You begin to pity Nigerian Super Eagles because Nigerian Team as presently composed lacks the quality to be at AFCON.. |
Over 160 innocent Nigerians killed and yet the Nigerians who protested for Palestinians cannot even come out to condemn and protest this terrorism on innocent Nigerians? |
Is it not shameful that the Mods couldn't push this to the front page? Congratulations to the Falconets. |
![]() Eiyaah.... Sorry.. It's the more you look.. The less you see.. |
![]() Wonderment.. The more you look.. The less you see.. May Nigerians not be scammed again and again.. The unending destruction of lives and properties must not be allowed any further... Let's use our PVCs to vote wisely to help give some hope to the generations yet unborn .. |
Balogunodua:As asked previously, You're yet to provide evidence to back up your claim nor answers to the questions asked so that Nigerians can see who is delusional as claimed by you.. As previously stated.. Intelligence is key to having an healthy conversation rather than name calling... It will be futile having a conversation with you without a display of this attribute.. Good day! |
Balogunodua:I'm still wondering how you knew that I do not have a PVC nor that I do not support any candidate /party as claimed..? Any evidence? Who really shows sign of delusion here? Intelligence is not really easy to come by.. |
Balogunodua:Unfortunately, I'm not a PDP apologist as you claim, neither a PDP supporter.. The APC came on board to fix the failures of the PDP.. but unfortunately things have gone from BAD TO WORSE..! Now ask yourself if its right to continue in this part of DESTRUCTION..? Intelligence is key to having an healthy conversation that can help move the country forward instead of unending excuses of ineptitude... But unfortunately those who lack intelligence resort to name calling... |
Balogunodua:It's my business because the nation's collective wealth has been wasted on this show of shame.. Nigerians cannot afford to continue in this part of destruction any longer.. Monies that should have been put into improving the lives of Nigerians wasted just like that..? An aspirant from this party asked a question yesterday saying.. "How many of his fellow contestants made wealth before coming into government" ? Has anyone been able to answer it? Do you know the losses already incurred by TV stations already from covering this show of shame that has lingered unnecessarily due to persistent failure of this party to get things right..? Now compare this to other parties who have concluded party primaries and decipher if anything good is available in this party? |
NaughtyBrainiac:Who cares..? We are talking about how this party has not been able to simply and swiftly organise a hitch free presidential primary despite buying time and making huge amount of money from selling of forms.. Isn't this a shame? |
