Hello people,

Please what is the difference between " Nigeria Army Engineers" and Nigeria Army Electrical Engineers and Mechanical Engineers" as shown on the application portal when applying?

I'm confused and don't know which is appropriate to apply under " Directorate of Army Aviation"..

House kindly advise...

Hello guys,

Please for the DSSC application, if someone states that he/she is married, does this affect/ disqualify ones chances? I read the criteria and instruction on the portal but didn't see anything against being married... please any useful info will be appreciated....

Car TalkRe: When You Hit Or Kill Someone While Driving: What's The Right Thing To Do? by lurvy: 12:52pm On Oct 28, 2014
@ OP, Why don't we put more emphasis on preventionhuh

Its far better to emphasize more on safety on the roads than on what to do when an incident has already taken place. Think about the pain suffered by the victim if alive, also think about the life which may be lost.

For instance, as regards the example you gave; if he trailer driver didn't drive recklessly then the lecturer wouldn't have tried to avoid him thereby killing innocent pupils.

If everyone simply uses the sense provided by God to drive carefully, inspect their vehicles often and also respect other road users including pedestrians then accidents will be reduced to the barest minimum!

Its a shame to sometimes see people driving on the road as if one is competing.

I've seen a trailer driver who drove recklessly on a busy road and about 5 minutes after overtaking our vehicle, the driver lost control of the trailer and went to the opposite lane where he climbed over a woman who died on the spot.

Tell me why should people with God-given sense chose to drive recklessly on the road in the first place? huh

Vehicles, machines , etc are supposed to be used for the benefit of mankind and not the reverse.

@ OP, From your write-up, Nigeria's President alluded that the terrorists in northern Nigeria are funded LARGELY from outside Nigeria, that's not to say that the terrorists up north are not also funded internally.

I think people who post on nairaland should be able to read and comprehend. undecided

Kudos to the Nigerian military!

I pray the military keeps up the tempo and also ensure our borders are properly sealed to prevent terrorists from sneaking into the country to perpetuate evil.

May the labour of our HEROES past never be in vain... its part of the national anthem.

My heart goes out to those who lost their lives, as a result of activities of terrorism.

RESPECT to all those who have been maimed, handicapped and also relatives who lost loved ones. May God grant you all succor and justice.

Lets all join hands and stamp out terrorism and senseless killings in the name of religion.

PEACE & LOVE to all Nigerians who love peace.

So what next? huh

What is the solution?

Its not enough to state that something isnt done.. but you need to profer solutions as well....

Simply state the steps which the ordinary Nigerian should take to get his/her land registered such that the land owner doesnt run into debt in the process of land registration.

You know everything in Nigeria is all about money.... I hope this isn't a way of robbing ordinary land owners again...

For those who could read... US CIA predicts Nigeria break-up in 2015...

Link: http://www.worldaffairsjournal.org/content/editorial-was-cias-prediction-nigerias-collapse-2015-correcthe

I think Nigeria is waxing even stronger against all odds...including the break-up prediction by US CIA.... and blockage of arms sales to Nigeria.

Some one posted on this forum that US supplied drones to Nigeria... any proof of this??

Has there been any report of drone strikes within Nigeria?

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Govt Explanation Unacceptable-south Africa by lurvy: 5:52am On Sep 19, 2014
....The statement tallies with what top security officials told PREMIUM TIMES in confidence that the money was legit as the government decided to buy the arms secretly; because the U.S. government had allegedly blocked its efforts to buy arms openly.

From the above, My question is..... Why should the US government block Nigeria's efforts to buy arms openly..? Even with the current security situation in Nigeria?

Remember the US Government earlier predicted the break-up of Nigeria in 2015!
So is the US Government trying to make their prediction come to pass by refusing to sell arms to Nigeria or even assisting Nigeria militarily..??

So, An APC belonging to the terrorists escaped??

I have asked this question several times, now... Let me ask again... DOES NIGERIA STILL HAVE AN AIRFORCE..??

How can Nigerian soldiers be fighting without an air cover from the Airforce..??

Why should an APC belonging to the terrorists escape and the Airforce couldn't bomb it?
