i also noticed that in sites like Olx and jiji the prices of a Nigerian used 2008 honda accord is cheaper than the toyota of the same model say( 2008 Toyota camry). what could be the reason for this.

The only low point i know is the expensive nature of the engine coupled with the fact that it does not tolerate blocked catalysts.

Some issues to think about:

2. Excessive oil consumption of the I4, but rather than overhaul engine, check oil regularly and top the oil
Excessive oil consumption of the V6 due to faulty programming from the factory, can be fixed by reprogramming its computer
3. i4 has timing chain, v6 has timing belt, but the timing chain has been known to fail

I disagree with no. 2 & 3, 4 cylinder has no timing chain issue, the issue the engine has is the Camshaft actuator that normally results in cold start rattlings and I have not heard the 2008 Accord 2.4 engine consuming more oil.

This bridge has a 2017 completion date, govt of GEJ had paid over 75% of its counterpart fund for it, Buhari came in 2015 and abandoned it for 3yrs after giving a stop work order. Only to come in 2018, 1yr to the elections to start pasting pictures of extent of work done under GEJ as work in progress on the 2nd Niger bridge.



Who knows how much has been released so far for the bridge by Buhari, only ₦2 billion for a ₦117 billion project.

The gurus in the house. Pls I have plenty problems with my EOD.

1. It revs to almost 3000 rpm b4 gear shift. There is enough transmission oil in d gear boxear.

2. The car loose power when climbing hill. I have serviced the throttle body, injector mouth, cleaned the airflow meter but no improvement.

3. AC is not working, even the blower does not turn on. Blower was pulled out and tested OK.

Please I need ur advice

Bad TPS or misbehaving gear box.

The steering is very hard. i ask why it was hard the seller told the it was leakage from the power steering container that no power steering oil in the container but i am scared it is not the power steering pump that is faulty. pls help asap

Glass gearbox, you must be very good in car maintainance to own that vehicle.

Steerings leak from rack, pressure hose or pump and if the steering is hard, the pump is not working.
