I'm a Lagosian, I don't support Lagos state approach on this matter.
Why will you demolish a structure just because they don't have a permit. The best bet is to seal up the place.
I don't support the fact that the Lagos town planing officials were maltreated. This should have been a good reason to seal up the place and take them to court.
A whole lot of properties in Lagos have no permit.
We need to create more enabling environment for businesses to trive in this harsh economy.

How I wish Ogun state governor can wake up, work on Lagos-Sango-Ifo road and Ijoko road which will open up business activities in areas not too far from Lagos.
Lagos is too toxic for any genuine business to trive. A lot of people are ready to move to Ogun state if there are good connecting roads.

My brother, I've been there several times and I'm always dissapointed with the state I see Nigerian workers there. You can't compare them with those working for Total, Seplat and Chevron.
Workers there remains with the company because they've not gotten a better alternative.

Dangote should have been smarter by not sacking 800 workers because they joined PENGASAN.
From what I know, you can't compare Dangote refinery workers with their peers in other oil and gas companies.
They look more like civil servants, nothing special.
If this style of ensalving workers is what made him the richest man in Africa then that's shameful.
Working with Dangote should be a thing to be proud of but non of his Nigerian workers are happy with the pay they get.

Dangote should call back the 800 workers he sacked last week because they join Labour Union (PENGASAN).
