Sapasenator: To combat insecurities, I think we should introduce a bill for a compulsory one year combat-military service for every male citizen 18-year and above.
I am talking about real military training and hands on combat experience similar to what the what in the US. Everyone should pick up the gun and serve the motherland. I also think NYSC should be scrapped as it has outlived it's usefulness.
All those cult boys should be given weapons and sent to battle ground, are you willing to join the army if drafted? I like this |

When I said the rumour last week was sponsored, some people wanted to eat me raw.
This is the best news so far. It will happen No going back We are moving to regional government before Nigeria finally disintegrate but with a strong military force that will protect our diffent borders from foreign invasion.
Let's watch as event unfolds.
Let well meaning Nigerians lend their voices and support Tinubu on this agenda. If we don't, if power mistakenly returns back to the North, it will never leave the North again.

Let's go back to regional system of government, this present system is taking us nowhere. The governors are the main problem of this country, they report to nobody, all other arms of government can't make any independent decisions, nobody calls them out, they do what they like with state allocation, etc. |

Politics › Wole Soyinka - I Hope Peter Obi Doesn’t Contest Next Presidential Election by lwisee(op): 8:28pm On May 23, 2024 |
I Hope Peter Obi Doesn’t Contest Next Presidential Election, His Team Is Incompetent To Lead Nigeria —Wole SoyinkaThe literary icon further accused Obi of controlling the online trolls responsible for the insults directed at him and other prominent figures who raised critical questions about the party’s campaign during the electioneering period. Nobel Laureate Prof Wole Soyinka has said he hopes Peter Obi, a former Labour Party presidential candidate, will not contest the next election. yinka said this in a recent interview with Noble Nigeria, arguing that the actions of the Labour Party leadership in the last election showed that he and his team were not fit to govern Nigeria. The literary icon further accused Obi of controlling the online trolls responsible for the insults directed at him and other prominent figures who raised critical questions about the party’s campaign during the electioneering period. Soyinka was constantly insulted by Obi’s supporters, known as ‘Obidients’ on social media, especially X. Soyinka said, “It has to do with education. I didn’t read all these (insults by Obidient Movement) but of course, some links were sent to me, especially when facts were ‘being manufactured’. “When I read these things, I was disgusted. There’s no other word for it. I really was disgusted and I know that it was orchestrated. “I know that there is a relay mechanism, which is triggered into action by those who control what we call the trolls of the Internet, and so my disgust and contempt. I just went about my business, you know, because nobody, anybody on this earth who thinks they can stop me telling the truth as I see it needs to have his or her head examined. It’s as elementary as that. “But it is depressing to see those who wanted to be political leaders encouraging that kind of action, that kind of attitude in the youth. And my mind went to the expression, ‘They don’t know what they’re doing’. Those who sow the wind will reap the whirlwind.” Soyinka, who described the online trolls as “foot soldiers” added that “they’ve trained in that aspect”. He said, “One of these days, they would be astonished, they would turn on them and teach them a lesson. And so, my attitude was very blasé and it is for me a sad phenomenon, especially for those who want to lead multi-textured (society)- different religions, different ethnic groups, different worldviews - who actually want to preside over such a group as one. It means that they have already declared themselves incompetent to lead such an entity.” When asked about Obi and his candidacy in the last election, Soyinka said, “I hope for the sake of the nation that he doesn’t express interest in the next election because for me as a leader, if there was any proof that he was unfit to lead that country, it’s in the conduct which he encouraged among his followers.” https://saharareporters.com/2024/05/23/i-hope-peter-obi-doesnt-contest-next-presidential-election-his-team-incompetent-lead |

BitterTruth0001: So the two yoruba banks he approached refused to give him loan and demanded collateral instead
But the US import-export bank were interested in his idea and gave him financing of $2.2 million in 2003
As at 2018, he directly employs over 6000 people majority of whom are the same Yoruba people
But God must bless him
As at 2016 , his company was valued at $85 million by the German investment bank who bought a minority shareholding .
Currently It is safe to estimate the company 2024 worth at least $100 million which translates to over 150 billion naira 90% of those working there are igbos. They speak Igbo right in the company like they were in the SE. Also,Heineken is mostly dominated by Igbos, you will think it's owned by an Igbo man. Once an Igbo man rises to the post of a manager, director or head of HR in any company, they start replacing other tribes with Igbos and make sure that 80% of the newly recruits are Igbos. |

Politics › Re: Is Ola Olukoyede Qualified To Be EFCC Chairman? by lwisee: 12:48pm On Apr 28, 2024 |
AnonPoet: Questions have arisen regarding the qualifications of Ola Olukoyede to hold the position of Chairman at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to the stipulated requirements in the establishment of the EFCC, the Chairman must be a serving or retired member of any government security or law enforcement agency not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police or equivalent, and possess not less than 15 years cognate experience.
Investigations have revealed that Olukoyede, born on October 14, 1969, did not meet these prerequisites before his appointment. Despite this, he assumed the role of Executive Chairman of the EFCC, appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on October 12, 2023.
Before his tenure as EFCC Chairman, Olukoyede worked as a lawyer at a firm owned by former Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo. He also served as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman (2016–2018) and Secretary to the Commission (2018–2023). His nomination as Secretary to the EFCC in 2018 was made by the then-President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
During the announcement of Olukoyede's appointment, it was stated that he possessed 22 years of regulatory compliance consulting, fraud management, and business intelligence experience. However, questions persist regarding whether this experience aligns with the specific requirements outlined for the EFCC Chairman.
The requirements as contained in part 1 section 2 of the establishment reads, ""The Commission shall consist of the following members
(a) a chairman, who shall - (i) be the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer of the Commission. (ii) be a serving or retired member of any government security or law enforcement agency not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police or equivalent; and (iii) Possess not less than 15 years cognate experience."
Given these revelations, concerns have been raised about Olukoyede's suitability for the role, with some arguing that he lacks the necessary experience and competency required for such a critical position in combating economic and financial crimes. Mr corruption we can see you. Keep fighting back |
