I did a fact check of the 14-point document published by Iranian state media and below is the outcome: The reality behind the negotiations paints a very different picture: 1.The "Fake News" Pushback from the U.S. Following the leak of those 14 points, President Trump publicly blasted the Iranian report as "fake news," stating that the terms leaked by Tehran "bear no relation to the truth." U.S. officials clarified that Washington is absolutely not paying "reparations." Instead, Trump administration officials stated that the real, agreed-upon framework is a strict, performance-based 5-point deal requiring Iran to: i. Destroy and dismantle its nuclear program. ii. Reopen the Strait of Hormuz without tolls. iii. Completely stop funding regional militant groups. iv. Receive no money until these actions are performed. 2. The Truth Behind the "$300 Billion" While Iranian media framed the $300 billion as "war damages" paid to them, diplomatic leaks from the New York Times reveal a completely different structure. The actual discussions center around an international investment and reconstruction fund—an idea originally floated by U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. -It isn't a cash payout or "reparations" from the U.S. treasury. -It is a framework to allow Western energy and real estate corporations to invest in Iran only after a final peace deal is fully implemented. It’s a carrot to get Iran to cooperate, not a submissive payout. 3. Severe Economic and Military Pressure on Iran The reason Iran is at the negotiating table in the first place is that they are under immense pressure. Months of U.S. airstrikes have heavily damaged their infrastructure, and the naval blockade has entirely choked off their economy. Trump noted that Iran has "taken a pounding" and wants a deal far more than the U.S. does. Why did Iran publish those 14 points? In international diplomacy, especially when a government is forced to negotiate after taking heavy military losses, they have to manage their public image at home. By publishing a highly aggressive, 14-point "victory" framework through state media outlets like Mehr and Tasnim, the Iranian leadership is trying to signal to its own population and hardliners that it isn't surrendering. Ultimately, this is a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)—essentially a promise to stop shooting and start talking for 60 days. Iran is trying to posture from a position of strength, but the severe economic toll of the war means Washington holds the actual leverage. They are announcing these executions to desperately get the US to act. The Ayatollah are in desperate need of a reason they can use to mobilize fellow Iranians and turn them away towards a war with an infidel satanic nation that is waging war against the ummah. I hope the US don't take the bate and allow things to pan out on it own |
Yes, there are trees in the Milky Way, but as far as we currently know, they are all located on a single planet: Earth. Since Earth is located in one of the spiral arms of the Milky Way, every tree you see is technically "in" the galaxy. However, if you are asking whether trees exist on other planets in our galaxy, the answer is more complex. So yes there are more trees on Earth than there are stars in the sky. This is a perfect rephrase of No. 10 statement |
Ansu Fati easily comes to heart. Fati was billed as the potential successor to messi. He showed immense promise with record-breaking performances before injuries hampered his progress. I will also say Balotelli

In northern Nigeria, the number one cable is NOCACO. NOCACO stands for Northern Cables Processing and Manufacturing Company Limited. The company is headquartered in Kaduna with branches in Kano, Sokoto and Abuja. The company is very well structured and one of the favourite places to work back then in Kaduna, providing employment for a lot of the populace. I don't think any of the companies in the list is in its league. My brother in-law works there |
The Peace That Kills: Katsina Pacts Offer Bandits A Secure Base to Wage War The establishment of 'peace accords' between communities in Katsina State and terrorist elements constitutes a profound and imminent existential threat to the Nigerian nation. It is bewildering to any security-conscious observer why the Federal Government has not intervened to halt this perilous trend, which directly jeopardizes Nigeria's very existence. These peace pacts, often dictated by the bandits themselves, grant the killer groups a dangerous semblance of legitimacy. They establish safe havens where the bandits can freely regroup, recruit, re-arm, plan attacks, secure supplies, access funding, and integrate the affected communities into their reconnaissance and logistics networks. From these sheltered staging grounds in Katsina, the terrorists can execute rapid offensive operations against bordering states and communities, returning afterward with the assurance of safe passage and protection that their local pacts seemingly guarantee. Neighboring states should be gravely concerned, as they are now exponentially more vulnerable. A credible suspicion remains that powerful sponsors are using the guise of these 'peace deals' to provide sanctuary, enabling the terrorists to scale up their operations, solidify their power base and wage war. Yes, Nigeria has effectively secured a spot to be ranked among the runners-up for the play-offs. So what next? The Super Eagle will compete in two play-off tournaments. Firstly, the CAF Play-off mini tournament and if and only if they win, they will go on to the FIFA play-off tournament to slug it out with 5 other continental best losers out of which only two champions will book the remaining two slots of the 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP. Here is the break down of the route: 1. CAF Play-off (African Mini-Tournament) Format: * A 4 team- tournament comprising the 4 best runners-up * Two semi-finals and one final (all single-leg knockout matches). * Only one winner will emerge which will go on to represent Africa at the FIFA PLAY-OFF TOURNAMENT 2. FIFA Play-off Tournament (Inter-confederation Play-offs) Format: * A 6 team-tournament comprising 1 each from the six continents * The six teams are split into two brackets of three teams, with seeding based on the FIFA Men's World Ranking. All matches are single-leg knockout games. * Two lower-ranked teams play a semi-final. The winner then faces one of the two highest-ranked (seeded) teams in a final. * The winners of the two bracket finals (two teams in total) secure the final two spots at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It is a long route to the World Cup for the Super Eagles, they will compete in at least 3 to 4 must-win matches to stand a chance of qualifying. The ADVANTAGE is a better prepped and tested team emerging through a rigorous sort of a mock-world cup competition. |
OSHIOMOLE WAS INVOLVED IN A VIRAL DISRUPTIVE AND HOSTAGE SITUATION AT THE AIRPORT SOME TIME AGO BUT THE MINISTER SAID NOTHING. I GUESS SOME CITIZEN ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS. YES, THE MINISTER MAY HAVE DONE WELL IN TAKING ACTION THIS TIME, BUT WILL HE HAVE DONE THE SAME IF IT WERE SOMEONE IN POSITION OF POWER LIKE OSHIOMOLE |
This OP seems to belittles Oshoala achievements. Maybe I should start another thread to highlight her accomplishments and set the records straight. She won 14 trophies with Barcelona alone Oshoala could have easily become Barcelona greatest player of all time if not for race consideration that saw her games limited after she showed great promise to outshine every player in the team and shatter club records. Perhaps, they didn't want an African player to be the face of the club. Spanish players were usually preferred for individual honours and everything was done to keep it so but Oshoala was unstoppable. Inspite of limiting her playing time, mostly not allowed to play full time, she became the second non-spanish player in the history of the league to win top scorer award and the fourth highest goal scorer in Barcelona long history. Barcelona had never won a champions league and had gone about 5 seasons without a domestic league title until Oshoala arrived Oshoala came and they started winning trophies scoring braces in their important games like against Madrid and Athletico. She won all 5 domestic league title for the 5 seasons she spent in Barcelona. Accounting for half the 10 league won in its history She was involved in all 3 champions League ever won by Barcelona. Barcelona never had a treble until she arrived. During her time Barcelona did 2 trebles and 1 quadripple. The only ones in its history Her statistics with Barcelona is unbelievable. In her first season, on loan, she had 7 goals in 7 games. In her second season she had 20 goals in 20 games falling only 3 goals behind the golden boot winner who had 23 in spite of her limited playing time. Given her trajectory, Oshoala could have easily broken every record in Barcelona had she been given the playing time. Oshoala inclusion made Barcelona the best team in the world, she simply could not be stopped Asisat Oshoala may have had at least 2 Ballon D'or titles but I guess the "world" wasn't ready for an African player dominance, so they had to figure out a way to prevent the obvious from becoming the facts But in our hearts, we will always know she was the best in the world at some point. |

Anyone reading this comment should quickly refer this guy to me. The disease is called Apulo in Idoma language, and it is known to cause death if untreated. It doesn't respond to antibiotics and injection would only worsen it. The hospital can't help you they know little or nothing about it. I am speaking from experience. This is no play. The good news is that certain Idoma herbal practitioners know the herbal remedy that works magic. I am willing to help you ask my parents to get the herb for you in Otukpo for free. This is your best chance from someone who have tackled the same disease first hand. I can relate with your situation and am willing to offer help. |
When the terrorist herdsmen wreck havoc in the Middle-belt, the sympathizers of the terrorist group always craft a biased narrative that puts the carnage in the context of farmers-herders clashes. The killer herders come to people's homes in their native soil and slaughter women, children, fathers and clergies and the nepotistic government looks away calling it a crisis between farmers and herders enabling more blood letting. Now the nepotistic central government, enablers and sympathizers of the terrorist herdsmen can lick their wounds as the beast has grown beyond control and turned on its own people. Your shameless double standard disgust me. You know that this is the doings of same killer herdsmen. When the terrorist herders kill your people you call it the intolerable act of Boko Haram but when they slay families in the Middle-belt, it is just another violent clash between two warring communities of herdsmen and farmers. Your continued refusal to classify the killer herdsmen a terrorist organization is an assault on facts, history and proof. Referring to the wanton destruction of lives and properties and mass displacement of people from their home soil by the terrorist nomads as a farmers-herders clashes is a distortion of moral truth. Now that you are haunted by what you enabled and defended with lies, you have lost all moral temerity to confront it frontally. Enjoy your nemesis. |
The FG don't have an explanation for its biased stance that was why they avoided the South-South summit. They can't explain the obvious high handedness and in other to avoid the burning questions they will face at the summit, they disrespectfully stayed away. When will the south wakeup |

THIS THREAD IS FOR NAIRALANDERS TO HELP THE AUTHORITIES AND PUBLIC IDENTIFY RISKY PRACTICES THAT MAY AID THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS. I was at the University of Benin, Ugbowo and as drove through the gate I was handed a tally by the security staff at the gate, like every other motorists going into the university. I was concerned that the issuance of tallies to the thousands of motorists visiting the university at this time is a potential risk. So, I sort the audience of the CSO and pleaded that the security practice be suspended immediately. Unfortunately, he said not immediately but tomorrow. Please, get the hotels, universities and any such places around you to stop issuing tallies immediately. I ENCOURAGE FELLOW NAIRALANDERS TO FOLLOW THIS THREAD AND IDENTIFY OTHER DANGEROUS PRACTICES THAT MAY LEAD TO THE SPREAD.
