6. Drinking to a Good Photograph! Cheers! This photograph dating back to 1844 is the oldest, displaying people drinking. Octavius Hill is present on the right of James Ballantine and Dr George Bell. They were probably sharing a joke along with the drink when captured. Three ‘ale flutes’ (drinking glasses of the 19 th century) and a beer bottle take centre stage on the table!

medexico:same here... Chickens can also be gynandromorphous, and only about 1 in 10,000 chickens are born with this rare genetic abnormality. The interesting thing is that the researchers expected to find a mutation of some kind, but instead came across chickens that are half-male and half-female with completely different anatomy on two halves of the body. Within 2 years of advertising, all the four children in the photograph including a fifth that Mrs. Ray was carrying in her womb at that time, were sold to different homes. Years later, the scattered siblings tried to find each other. After 40-50 years later some of the siblings were lucky enough to find each other. It is believed that she committed suicide after separating from her fiancé. She wrote in a note “He is much better without me”. 1879 Billy the kid was a young and notorious gunfighter. His real name was Henry McCarty. He took part in the Lincoln County war held at New Mexico and had gunned down eight men. It seemed like he loved running from the police and a long history of evading and hiding from cops. He was killed by Sheriff Garrett who later wrote a book on him titled The Authentic Life of Billy, the Kid.

Had a deep cut very very close to my eyebrow , ....ceiling fan. I had to watch the nurse stitch it up while I was crying. I had to wear a face cap to two school for two weeks I was 12 then..i was doing a very bad thing before I had the cut. Since then I abstain from that evil act. Due to a Nigerian football match. Someone threw a knife at me...I was caught in the back. |
