Sometimes I look at people from here and wonder why the cowardice in demanding a country of their own. I mean they have the population. They have sea access. Even though they are retrogressing in education but at least they have a sizeable educated population. They have the resources both natural and non natural.

Still they are afraid to be on their own. Always begging unity. Unity with people that kill them. SHAME BIG SHAME

Majority of people commenting are either tribalistic or religion naive, what concerns giving alms during the holy months, political hatreds has deteriorated your normal thinking. We can't move forward if we continue like this.

We need to be progressive. When Jonathan was there you people abuse him, when Obasanjo was there you abuse him, when buhari was there you abuse him. Do you people see Nigeria like your family matters that can easily be solve like that, even people that cannot control their children and wife from doing the wrong are still abusing.

I know majority of you are the greatest grand children of people that condemned Jesus' and Muhammed during their time, continue.

If this "Big Man" had been a Nigerian, religious bigots, ethnic jingoists and political jobbers would have cried "blue murder" and even decide to accompany him to the police station or wherever he's being taken to.

Even the King of England wasn't informed before the arrest.

He simply told the British public that the law must take its course.

If it were to be here, in Nigeria, the King himself self would have frowned at the audacity of the police to have his brother arrested and even claim political witch-hunt.

He (the King) would have assembled the SANs of SANs in Nigeria to rescue his brother from the claws of those jealous, envious and overzealous policemen.

Nigerians need a critical introspection!

@hotseat
Lol
The king knew and gave the go ahead
The two of them no dey relate with themselves like that grin

It's not a culture in any organization in Nigeria that's indigenous.

Most often even the salary is treated as some kind of grant that you ought to be grateful for.

Nigerian employers, aided by inept and incompetent HRs, are usually feudal, sadistic, inhumane, borderline evil, parasitic, and disloyal.

If the Chinese, Russians, Ukrainians, Americans, Swiss and Britons were thinking this way, the world would be far from global development. Same Tinubu was abroad to study, and work for yearsssss. Heavily benefited from subsidize education. They were fed for free, daily, across all levels of education! Eating chicken and cow everyday on campus.

If there were enough jobs, then, well-paying jobs in Nigeria, would they want to relocate permanently?

Haven't we read severally that Nigerian doctors treat your slave masters abroad?

This level of allegiance (towards becoming a slave) that will make me lose my logical sense of reasoning to fooling around, Lord, I refuse it. Don't give me too much, so I don't become foolish, and don't make me poor (financially, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally) , that I can be bought like a commodity to lose my conscience and justify evil. Amen.

Lol you're proving my point exactly. That's the problem — everybody has just accepted that if you no work for "top company" you no suppose expect anything. But think about am, you dey spend your own money on food every day, transport every day, data, gym if you go. That one fit reach ₦50K-₦80K every month easy.

I know Cowrywise for sure give free lunch to their employees and some other benefits which I can really remember. I've also seen other companies provide something like learning budget for each employees, I think we've normalized not getting these things here in Nigeria in most companies, and this is really bad.

What if your company fit give you access to all those things at cheaper rates, and e no even cost them anything
They can but they would rather go against all known labour laws
Which is why i said legit and top companies because they know the importance of staff welfare
Like a poster just said outside Salary and HMO most companies here no send you o

What benefits does your company give you apart from salary and HMO? I've been talking to people and it seems like most Nigerian companies offer basically nothing — no food allowance, no transport, no gym, no learning budget. Some of my friends at bigger companies get all of this. Is it just a big company thing or are some startups doing it too? What would you want your company to offer if you could choose?
Most private companies apart from eateries no dey add all those ones o grin
But most legit and top companies do
You sef why you dey find food & Gym allowance?

Politics › Re: Ooni planning title for Igboho – Monarch openly tells Tinubu to release Kanu by LZAA: 11:08am On Feb 18
MT:
Kanu doesn’t deserve to be released.

He deserves to languish in prison for the rest of his life.

I detest all these kings trying to appeal to other tribes for validation. He should remember that Wole Soyinka went into prison for them, still they are insulting him today.

Even the Governors and Senators in the east do not want him released.

Gideon orka is languishing in South Africa prison, Simon Ekpa in Finland, so why should we allow that arrogant man - Kanu - to walk free despite all the evils he committed against the state? Do we expect the world to help us do our laundry while we as a nation look the other way? The world will only take us for a joke.

How would other people whose father, mother, siblings were killed at the direction of Kanu feel if he’s walking free.

Just as forest belongs to Monkey, prison should be the natural abode of Kanu for the rest of his life .
Gideon orkar?
Someone who died in 1990?
God abeg🤣🤣

Ogbeni, trust me you don’t know anything about taxes. Maximum these guys pay in taxes is 40% and these guys have ways of further reducing it. Nobody pays 60% in taxes. Nobody! Look at you thinking you sound smart. Ogbeni, gerrout of here and go yearn with ya beer parlour people. Crap! angry
40%?
Tell me you're ignorant without saying a word
Keep im mind i mentioned SALARY tax o
Oh btw.....
For most players in England, Wales and Northern Ireland:
Income Band
Tax Rate
Up to £12,570
0% (Personal Allowance)
£12,571 – £50,270
20% (Basic rate)
£50,271 – £125,140
40% (Higher rate)
Over £125,140
45% (Additional rate)
*(If earnings exceed £100,000, the personal allowance gradually disappears, which can create an effective marginal rate of up to ~60% between £100,000 and £125,140. This affects top earners like footballers.)
