Kemi Olunloyo clocks 52; says Pastor Oyedepo a child abuser, T.B Joshua indirectly a manslaughter king The daughter of Victor Omololu Olunloyo – a former governor of Oyo State, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, has said she does not believe in the Bible and that all Nigerians worshiping men of God instead of God, have a special place awaiting them in hell fire. Ms Olunloyo, popularly known as MadamKOO, a top Nigerian social media personality bashed renowned pastors – Pastor Adeboye, David Oyedepo and T.B Joshua, saying they were criminals and there was no way she could believe in them. Celebrating her 52nd birthday on Saturday, she told DAILY POST in an exclusive interview that she intends to power all the kids hawking on the street of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. The US trained Journalist said, “I am 52 years old today August 6th. I’ve done it for 4 years since 2012. Each kid I see hawking gets a new N200 note. I spend 20,000 naira and I help some hawk around. “The well to do kids get nothing because they chant God forbid me hawking. More Nigerians should get out and do the same.” She reinstated that she is fulfilled at this point of her life. She said, “Perfectly enjoying life waiting for my $38,000 a month pension.” On whether she still hopes to settle down at this age, the single mother said, “I’m already settled. I will never marry a man who cant take orders from me; so Nigerian men better go sit down.” On apparently fighting too many battles and if she would want to make peace with some adversaries, especially as she is celebrating her birthday today, the Snitchlady, as she is fondly called told our reporter, “I don’t fight battles. I simply put Nigerians in their place. If you step on my toes, I will drag you down. “I did not grow up in this uncultured society. Americans are far better than Nigerians. I live with them 8 months, a year and 33 years straight. They have never called me controversial. “Also, I don’t have a relationship with Bianca Ojukwu. I simply enclosed her lies. She’s a lunatic. I haven’t seen her since the teen UK days.” On Pastor Adeboye, from calling him a murderer to saying he is a trashy man of God who should be executed, she debunked rumours insinuating she has a-yet-to be ascertained issue or ‘personal beef’ with him, owing to how she lambasted him. She said, “I have no personal beef with Adeboye, never met him but have been investigating him since the 2005 import tariff fraud of N20B, he killed an NPF cop in 1971 and he insulted single moms in a sermon and I will keep ripping him. People don’t think he’s controversial. Its me that’s controversial to them. “Nigerians are slaves to religion and basically brainwashed by him. Some even think my father went to apologize to him. Bullshit lie. I will be after Adeboye as long as I live. “All Nigerians worshipping pastors are definitely going to hell. You worship God not a man of God. There is only man or God. No such bullshit as man of God. “These morons are supporting their private jet lifestyles, bread factories, universities they can’t afford and commercialization of religion. Look at the RCCG in Lekki filled with fashion parades and bullshit. “There is nothing more, nothing less to that. You worship your creator. “I don’t believe in the bible either. There are too many non existent stories in there. Some promote hate. Where the hell is Sodom and Gommorah to make you hate a gay or lesbian. Homosexuals are no different from us. “I do not believe in any man of God. “Oyedepo is a child abuser slapping a girl in church. T.B Joshua is indirectly a manslaughter king killing 5 in his Ghana church while people were rushing for holy water and killing over 100 South African people in his shoddy building in Lagos and failing to appear in court. I don’t believe in criminals,” she blasted. Ms Olunloyo went further to clarify that her relationship with her father is normal. “If he tells me bullshit about the next person calling him over a Facebook post, I simply blast him and he keeps his mouth shut. Some ridiculous public figures like reporting me to him like I was 10 years old. My father is 81. He doesn’t control me. His concubine forged the letter to Premium Times. She’s an unwanted freak,” she added. She revealed that her relationship with Fani Kayode – FFK is that of a childhood bond. She said, We have been friends since my father was a 27-year-old Commissioner in his father’s government and we schooled in UK together.” On her thoughts on the current economic meltdown in the country, viz a viz Buhari’s government, Ms Olunloyo said, “Nigeria is a failed country period. Those of us that should be running it are ignored. “I didn’t vote for anyone in 2015. I was hospitalized in an accident. I cared less who won or lost. I told my fans to vote for Buhari cos Jonathan couldn’t create jobs. Now Buhari can’t create any either. “I fear nobody but God. Nigerians will get a taste of fire with me. Their soft leaders have spoilt them. I’m not soft or nice. I have no friends in Nigeria and everyone wants to be my friend. Nobody threatens me. You saw my reply to Tosin Kosoko.” The editor of HNNAfrica, a world and health news blog gave her take on Gender Equality and domestic violence. “Both have been rubbished in Nigeria. Nigerian women who grew up here are mumus. They submit to men who brainwash them as second class citizens,” Ms Olunloyo told DAILY POST. President Muhammadu Buhari has admitted that it is not easy to fulfill electoral promises. The president admitted this yesterday at the graduation ceremony of Course 24 participants of the National Defence College, Abuja. He however, assured of his administration’s determination to bequeath a new orientation in leadership which he said, would be service-driven and committed to the fulfillment of its electoral promises. “We are, however, not under any illusions that this task is an easy one. But we have put our trust in God knowing that with hard work and sound vision, we will triumph,” the president said. Buhari stated that international confidence in Nigeria and its future was beginning to return because of how the country was slowly finding ways to solve its problems. He said the nation was also beginning to have faith in the ability of its society’s institutional capacity to tackle its problems. The president, who urged that efforts be doubled to restore Nigeria to higher glory, said the country had made tremendous progress in the last one year towards taking its rightful position in the comity of nations. “We hope to continue to build on this progress in the coming years so as to ensure that Nigeria maintains the enviable heights it has achieved thus far. It is a task that all of us must resolve to do,” he said. The president recalled that during his inauguration last year, he had outlined certain core areas of national life requiring immediate intervention such, including security, improving the economy and fighting corruption. According to him, while this is the nation’s unfinished business from the past and dates back to the creation of the Republic; “yet to this day, corruption and poverty remain our main national problems.” Buhari said as part of efforts to address corruption, his government had set in motion legal processes to recover whatever it could and bring to justice those who betrayed their trust. “Thus far, we’ve been able to recover billions of naira from indicted companies and individuals. In addition, through the implementation and enforcement of the Treasury Single Account, we’ve been able to save more for our nation,” Buhari stated. Buhari affirmed that the Nigerian Armed Forces had proven to be equal to the task of maintaining the country’s internal and external security. He challenged the graduating officers to harness the latest defence and security research as well as extant government policies for the benefit of their services, organisations and their nations. The president said he was pleased to learn that the blueprints of training at the College had kept pace with the nation’s current security environment. He noted that in the last one year, through the hard work, dedication and sacrifices made by the armed forces and security services, the capacity of Boko Haram insurgents to wreak havoc on the society had been significantly degraded. Buhari said the government was similarly committed to tackling the issues of under-development and neglect in the Niger Delta region. How my trip to U.S. is funded — Aisha Buhari Buhari Aisha, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday said her ongoing trip to the United States was not being funded with public funds. Speaking in an interview with the Hausa service of the Voice of America, Mrs. Buhari said the trip was being funded with personal funds and sponsorship grant. “We sponsored even the government officials that came with us on this trip,” she said. The president’s wife explained that the Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was not funding her office and that her role was just a supportive one to complement her husband’s services to the country. Mrs. Buhari said the office of First Lady had become a tradition in almost all nations of the world, not just Nigeria. “All that we are doing is to help our husbands,” she said. “For instance someone can decide to give me Indomie or Maggie, which he cannot give to the president, women need these things. “In any state where a governor’s wife is irrelevant such as Yobe, you will notice that the women are suffering. “Whenever we get such gifts, we don’t keep them but share to those in need.” The president’s wife also explained that the Nigerian government had put in place a special programme to help women. She said she held a meeting with the Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, before embarking on her U.S. trip on how to sensitize women on ways of taking advantage of the new policy. “Very soon our women will get help,” she said. Mrs. Buhari also responded to a question on why Nigerians are suffering at this time. “This may be because of the existence of the Treasury Single Account, TSA, and the activities of Boko Haram which prevented people from farming last season,” she said. Nicaraguan president chooses his wife as running mate Daniel Ortega picks wife Rosario Murillo as vice presidential candidate ahead of November election. Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega picked his wife on Tuesday to run as his vice presidential candidate ahead of November elections, in a vote in which the leftist politician and his party are heavily favoured to win a third consecutive term. Mr Ortega, a 70-year-old former guerrilla leader, made the announcement as he registered his own candidacy for re-election. He has previously described the “joint government” with Rosario Murillo as a symbol of equality between the sexes. “We don’t doubt that (the vice presidential candidate) had to be a woman, and who better than the partner who has already been tested with work and proved to be very efficient and disciplined?” said Mr Ortega, cheered by dozens of supporters. Ms Murillo previously served as the government’s chief spokeswoman. The November 6th vote will also elect Nicaragua’s 90-member national assembly. The opposition Independent Liberal Party and Constitutionalist Liberal Party are also running, although a poll published last week put Ortega’s support at 65 per cent and his opponents trailing far behind. Mr Ortega first ruled the Central American country in the 1980s and returned to power as head of the leftist Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) party in 2007. Ms Murillo has been affiliated with the FSLN since the 1970s. The couple were married in 2005. I think fayose should just stop pause from speaking. Too much rant and not making sense. More of a jester than the meaningful opposition he is meant to play. Here is a statement he made again Fayose: "Zenith Bank provided my 2014 campaign funds" Emefiele: Zenith Bank GMD in 2014. Emefiele: CBN Gov now. To cut the story short, Zenith bank has denied funding his 2014 campaign. Unfortunately emefiele was the MD of Zenith bank in 2014 and he now works with Buhari |

Despite the Central Bank of Nigeria yet to roll out the details of the new flexible exchange rate policy, which is a monetary system that allows the exchange rate to be determined by supply and demand, the nation’s currency naira has switched to N285 to a dollar at the interbank market, The Guardian reports. The policy, which throws naira into open market, paves way for one to walk into the bank and ask to buy forex at the market rate, hence, putting pressure on black market and Bureau de Change operators. Following the new flexible exchange policy to be adopted by the CBN, the naira has switched to N285 to a dollar at the interbank market. The new policy also means that banks and Bureau De Change (BDC) operators will have to source forex autonomously and sell according to market dynamics. The interbank rate had run nearly at par with the official at N199 per dollar and N197 per dollar respectively before the pronouncements on the new foreign exchange measure. The new rate represents about 43.2% increase from N199 to the dollar it previously traded, which according to analysts suggests that the market is gradually adjusting itself to the new direction, although the details are yet to be unfolded. However, a look on the apex bank official website, www.cbn.gov.ng has shown the naira is still pegged at N197. Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has given the CBN the go-ahead to introduce flexibility in the naira exchange rate. Speaking in an interview on Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant on media and publicity to President Buhari said: “The president is opposed to devaluing the naira, he has said so repeatedly. “He has given them leeway to introduce what he has called ‘flexibility in managing’ the currency’s value.” Buhari said at the weekend that he supported a stable currency, though he would keep “a close look at how recent measures affect the naira and the economy.” Source: https://www.naij.com/845128-breaking-naira-crashes-n2851-interbank-market.html?source=breaking |

POVERTY MENTALITY' When are Nigerians going to celebrate real achievements? On the left is Mr. Ayodele Daniel Dada the first Nigerian to finish university with a perfect CGPA of 5.0 and on the left is Mrs. Olajumoke Orisaguna a 'former' bread seller. Before Ayodele, no one had 'EVER' finished with a perfect CGPA in UNILAG!!! Since it was established in 1962, he made history by becoming the first to achieve such a commendable feat! Now, so many questions come to mind. How come my dear friend Kunbi of 'April with Kunbi' hasn't styled him or recommended him for styling? How come CNN hasn't done a story on him? How come his life isn't documented on blogs daily? How come he isn't a brand ambassador for any product? The questions are ceaseless. Ciara put up a post of an equally beautiful traffic hawker selling some type of fruit yesterday and she was described, in Ciara's own words as 'beautiful and talented'. If these two 'hawker beauties' were discovered less than 2 months apart, it means that beautiful girls that hawk commodities aren't in short supply in Lagos. While people who finish with with a 5.0 CGPA are almost non existent! It took 54 years to produce the first one! While Olajumoke and this other lady are rough stones that could be polished to achieve a lustrous shine, Ayodele is a true jewel, a rare yellow diamond in its truest and purest form. Let's not let our 'poverty mentality', that makes things of lesser importance seem valuable, cloud our judgement. I have no objection to polishing stones to bring out their shine, but please let's not do it at the expense of gems of inestimable value! The outcome of our future depends largely on 'what' or 'whom' we invest in. If Japan, Switzerland or America invested their time and money in pretty bread sellers, we won't have the brains behind their automotive, aeronautic, horological or financial achievements today. I'm not saying we shouldn't celebrate Olajumoke o! Before people call me a hater but like hell we must celebrate Ayodele first! Just my thought on a Saturday evening~FRZ

I think missionary schools are one of the best if not the best in Nigeria. They focus less on money but on child development and have very good maintenance culture . If only Pentecostal pastors can borrow a leaf from them but no its all about competing with bill gates and dangote on the latest jet or some frivolous birthday bash on a yatch. |

The Presidency has risen in defence of President Muhammadu Buhari, saying he has achieved a lot in the area of fighting corruption in the seven months of his administration. The Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, said this in a statement on Wednesday. Shehu was reacting to a recent report by the Centre for Democracy and Development which claimed that Buhari had only achieved one out of his 222 tracked electoral promises, representing 0.5 per cent of the promises. The CDD had based its report on critical sectors such as security, the economy, fighting corruption, oil and gas, agriculture, and social and environmental sectors. But the presidential spokesman said it was mischievous to attribute to the President promises he did not make during the campaigns and hold him accountable. While advising leaders of the CDD to rise above what he called petty partisanship and stop misleading Nigerians, Shehu said any unbiased person would recognise the achievement so far made by Buhari in curbing corruption. According to him, no sincere Nigerian will fail to recognise the courage of the President to tackle corruption in a country where impunity was once celebrated. The presidential spokesman added that within seven months, Buhari had successfully blocked the leakages in the system. He said as a result of these efforts, the Nigeria Customs Service had quadrupled its revenue base within seven months, a feat the service could not achieve in years. “Doesn’t the President deserve credit for this and other efforts to confront the monster of corruption?” Shehu asked. On the economy, he said it was wrong to blame the President for the falling oil prices in the world market, a challenge which he said had made Buhari lay emphasis on economic diversification. He recalled that President Barack Obama of the United States had inherited an economy in crisis in 2009 and was not judged in his first seven months in office. Shehu explained that in the case of Buhari, it was a double tragedy because he inherited an economy in crisis on account of declining oil revenues and an economy also ravaged by large-scale corruption. He, however, said progress was being made in recovering the nation’s stolen funds. He said an escrow account had been opened for that purpose. Shehu added, “He (Buhari) is making good strides towards improving governance by tackling corruption. Till date, a good number of persons believed to have collectively stolen billions from taxpayers have been arrested and are facing the courts. “We are working with our allies across the world from Britain and America to France and Germany to China and the UAE to source, locate and repatriate misappropriated funds. “So far, an escrow account has been opened for money that is being returned. This is only the start. The return of stolen funds is important, but it is just as critical to ensure that those who seek to steal realise that no longer will there be such impunity in Nigeria.” He said Buhari’s war against corruption and terrorism had become a template for Africa and the rest of the world. The presidential spokesman said it was, however, ironic that at home, some individuals were not prepared to give these successes the recognition they deserved. Shehu said, “The latest CDD episode is a shocking reminder to their failed attempt to hold the President to ‘100 promises in 100 days’ which disastrously crashed on the head of the proponent. “The elevation of the act to a new high of 220 promises is a knee-jerk reaction that seeks to play to the gallery and score points against the President.”.
