My reason for posting it here is that I want the issue discussed, and also to pass that message that it's no use chatting a seller up, making him/her send you full spec, pictures and reviews of a product if you doubt his or her credibility.

I would have agreed that it was wrong to have posted it here if I had released any detail about the person. In this case, I don't think I agree with you on that.

I have actually had customers who doubted my credibility and had to do my best to convince them. Some even still doubted until we found a way to do face to face transaction. However, I appreciated those ones because they came with their own trust issue at the beginning of our conversation and it was handled. I feel to engage someone exhaustively for a very long while, then coming up with that line was a bit unfair.

duely noted, this is and has always been a challenge, it is not a new situation. untill online sellers find a way around it, we will keep talking about this over and over, a solution is what is needed not the obvious challenge/problem. business isnt static, jumia,ali express,amazon with their credibility do not talk about their challenges in public they propagate their successes, while looking for means to overcome their challenges.

I wish I could screenshot the earlier conversations. Maybe you would see reason why I had to tell him to trust his instinct, which is also not a bad advise to give to someone who's unnecessarily paranoid.


One of my business person, I haven't seen her before. I don't even know her but someone here on nairaland whom I have also not met before referred her.

My first transaction with that lady I paid 750k to her account without knowing whether she would deliver or not. I just had to give her that benefit of the doubt.

Being excessively paranoid isn't such a good thing because it might restrict one to only interacting with his/her immediate environment as opposed to a world of opportunities.

After having 2 days discussion with a prospective buyer who chatted me up. That last question really took me aback. I wonder why he contacted me if he couldn't trust me, not to mention the numerous reviews here.

I updated the software to mui 9.5.13.0 immediately I inserted my sim. However, I noticed that the battery is not as good as y'all are taunting to be here. My redmi 4x battery lasts longer compare with note 5 pro. Heck even my old fashioned redmi 4a battery would give this note 5 run for it's money.
Could this be software issue or the battery isn't good?

Something is going on that I don't understand. My phone just stopped charging, and when I unplugged and replugged the charger, the lock screen showed that it was charging but the indicator light wasn't on, and the battery icon wasn't reacting either. Try another charger. Just try to troubleshoot between the charger and cables if you have access to another type c cable or adapter..
