This is sequel to my last message complaining about my battery draining... After almost 6 hours, I am left with 47 percent battery from 96 it was when I made the earlier post. Please note that the hotspot was turned on about 2 hours ago because am sharing data with my qsat decoder and I have been browsing the Internet and chatting with the phone with network set to 3g only

Is this normal at all? See My gionee m5 temperature reading 38 degree and its draining my battery. I have greenify installed but am not sure it's even working. Am using a naija rom.

This scrrenshot is screenshot of battery usage of my gionee m5.. What do you think of the battery? Note that I have been using the phone to type documents and browse the web since it was 100 percent up to the moment am making this post. The phone screen light never went off even for a second.. The battery just dropped to 95 percent while typing this message.

One thing I hate about this gionee m5 is the decision by gionee to put the quick access slide menu at the bottom instead of the normal top. Sometimes you want to slide up to bring the menu and it won't respond. Sometimes when I want to take screenshot, the page I want to snap will move up as I am trying to slide up the menu. At night, the capacitive navigation keys get difficult to use too because it is not lighted. O sometimes find myself having to move about with my fingers just to press the keys.

Jeez, I bought gionee m5, I have never seen a phone with speakers as powerful as this phone. So loud. The colour is splendid and battery is lovely

The only thing I need in a smartphone are good battery, multitasking /ram and big screen. Gionee m5 has everything. To hell with gionee m5 plus. I didn't come to this life to live a life of slaving after phones. How can one be changing phones like menstrual pads for this hard weather. Come to think of it, all these added functions like finger print unlock, etc are just there, many people who buy phones with these facilities don't actually use them. We just buy them to show off. I bought a smart 3D TV for almost 300k but up till today I have not used the 3D glasses nor have I used the TV to browse the Internet, even though the TV has these functions. All I use it for is to watch football, something that every normal and cheap TV does. I learnt my lesson with that TV. The reason why I wanted to change my tecno c8 was because of its poor multitasking because only one app can run at a time, so when the phone was stolen, I went for gionee m5 which from my experience using it could run over 10 apps without restarting any. What more do I need? Like I said earlier.... To hell with gionee m5 +whatever

I was almost tempted to buy the note 2 4g variant because of smile. Ng network. After researching, I just discovered that the note 2 doesn't support band 20, 800mhz which smile ng uses

Smile network uses band 20 800mhz and the gionee m5 doesn't support that band. I don't know if it can be activated though. Even infinix note 24g doesn't support the band that smile.ng uses [font=Lucida Sans Unicode][/font]

Jeez! I wonder why people will argue to the point of insulting themselves just because they own a particular brand of phones. Nigerian youths, we are good at buying phones and insulting others who don't share our views.... These phones are made by young guys and ladies in China. They don't kill themselves about which brand is the best. Continue killing yourselves because of another man's innovation. Make una no think of how una go make this country better in future. Our politicians are busy sharing trillions while the so called leaders of tomorrow are on nairaland arguing over phones... Pathetic

That stadelk guy is a fraud. Please don't believe what he says. Time has only proven him to be a scammer. The only so called person who was able to make money from using his ebook was fedupnigerian, who ironically stopped coming online the same time as stadelk himself, this points to the fact that both username were managed by one person.

I think from my analysis so far, I have no option but to conclude that fedupnigerian and Stadelk are same person. This is really bad.

Well, personally I cannot say that stadelk is a scammer. I have bought his ebook and read it. I am interested in the FBA stuff but I honestly believe that one can't do a lot with the info he provided on the FBA stuff in his ebook. I think the ebook should have been such that after buying the ebook, one doesn't have to start making calls for info. Unless he is trying to keep info away from the ebook knowing fully well that the ebook could be circulated among nairalanders without his consent and that the 2k for purchase is mainly as consultation fees. The truth remains that the FBA info in the ebook is certainly not enough to start the business because there are so many questions to be answered. . HOWEVER, I wouldn't advise anyone to post contents of the ebook here or anywhere else because that would be copyright violation. Remember that what goes around comes around.

On the 4th of January. I listed my gtb mastercard on PayPal and they deducted 1.95 usd from my card. I was charged 524 naira for it. I didn't confirm the card until 2 weeks ago. When I did confirm it, PayPal refunded my 1.95 usd and gtb credited me with 555.75 for the same value of 1.95usd which they had deducted 524 a month earlier

I am not going to engage in exchange of words with you. It's quite obvious that you are a small boy who still depends on his parents for survival. My one month earning is enough to acquire more tecno c8 than you can imagine. .... A look at the profile of both of us shows how different our interests are. While you have spent time worth over 3 days on nairaland browsing the phones, celebrities and romance section, I am here for business and money making. I only stop by on this thread once in a while to see if there is any update on the poor multi tasking issue of the camon c8. My simple advise to you is to join the league of people making serious money on nairaland and quit wasting your time here. That's the only way you can overcome that mindset which makes you think that tecno camon c8 is so expensive that one has to depend on an elder brother to have or use it.
