I traded learnafrica today at 3.0 but was sold to me at 2.93 using a New account with Morgan and InvestmentOne today. I am waiting at COB to see what happens and compare. It has happened with me with other brokers like InvestmentOne. I know of profit from trading margin and don't expect refund. it happen to me in UBA where I was unable to cancel the trade after Qualification Date, but was filled the next day with old price. difference was not refunded.

Dividend counts as inflow.

Then if the dividend is up to 100 cents and you use it to buy a stock, you have met the rule of depositing and taking at least one trade in a quarter.

Also, you can escape the charge if you have no idle cash up to 100 cent in your account

Thus the minimum to trade is 100 cents (One Dollar)?

You are correct, after pa Emma and other participants discussed it in 2022. I went to think over it again and again. I don't believe in borrowing but it changed after digesting a post from a professor (my financial icon). I ran and started looking for 10m in August 2023, well all banks I met gvr exibortant conditions. I had wanted to averaged my Royal exchange to 0.40k, but cutix @2.00, Firsbank @ 17 and jaiz @<1.20 with some other US stocks. But could not secure the fund. I missed but learnt.

Speaking about broking firms, permit me to register my account/ordel with @meristemng.com. I could remember some months back, a customer called out @meristemng, withs accusations of fraud. I was like a whole meristem, because of how much? He received retributions with some few defending the firm.

Well, it is what it is, @meristemng is now dubious to put it lightly! Someone reached out to me about shares stuck since 2008 with no dividend paid. I use Chaka (since 2020), recently opened another with Investment One (although, charges no be here oh). I referred him to either @meristemng or Cordos. Due to the prompt response from @meristemng, I adviced him to opt for @meristemng. They sent mails on how to open an account insisting on minimum of #10000 opening amount. He did so around October 2023. I personally facilitated the filling of forms and took it upon myself to mail @meristemng. Reason been, this was a business man with little or no knowledge of stocks. There where host of others waiting to rectify same issue. But I asked them to wait until we sort that of the first person. Due to trust, I was granted access to email account and other sensitive information/documents. But @meristemng is about to bring a crack (which I invisiaged, if all things remain same).

Fast forward to third week of January 2024, @meristemng is yet to create an account or communicate on it. I am aware account opening takes about 3 days once all documents needed is provided. Yet this is over 5 months now, yet no comment. I recently requested that the amount be refunded and account opening request aborted, yet no refund till date. While, the person in question might not mind the #10000 involved ( he was even opting I transfer about 150k to open the account), my integrity might be on the line, as i was the one that did all transctions. They only sign or send OTPs to me.

So abeg, is @meristemng still ALIVE? In my last email I copied even SEC just to pile in on any complaint from other customers affirming this attitude of theirs. Having used Chaka with little funds over a year, I ditched the thoughts of opening an account with @morgancapital. InvestmentOne was basically for long term plays and possible access to loans in the future.

What should I do to get a refund. This is one reason I run from overrated big firms.

Also thanks, after some months of sleeping in Royal I changed course to Jaiz (your comment with that of OGB made me sure of my analysis) got it for 1.50 target was 4.20. Sold early Sha at 3.05.

At Loco Trader see JP me Na 4 I go sell. Thank God I had removed my earlier limit of 3.08 set last two days after the red.

IJAR looks like your typical predatory journal. There are so many academic and non academic blogs that have confirmed it is predatory. You can search this yourself. From its unusually wide scope to it not having a Thompson Impact Factor. Be waery of these Indian journals that leverage the "open access" model to charge you for publishing articles that will not go through quality peer reviews. You shouldn't have to pay to publish. Monkey hunting thrives in a bull market, it is an opportunity for people trapped in dead stocks for ages to cash out and sell to uninformed newbies

Seriously, one major reason I buy some stocks I don't Intend to hold is to be on the Registars Books. Once I see movement, I try to jump in and out and leave only one share for my Registrar Books. Within three years I have over 120 stocks (from NGX) on my portfolio but my funds are in less than 20 now. I intend to utilize the bull market to rebalance my portfolio to less than 15 this year, But would still trade any I perspective to give 10-20℅ within a month.

Most of this stocks were bought when I joined the market in 2019-2020. So I was literally playing with the App and learning (on the field) with little funds. On rear occasion do I enter with significant portion of my portfolio (although, I just used a significant portion on Royal Exchange last week,to average down and exit hopefully at 10℅ gain). I would have dived into Unity at 0.49k but was afraid of the standing of the Bank. I have always head negative on the bank.

One of my major gains last year was on RSBist.. I had written the money off only to see over 100℅ gain. I don't know much of either FA or TA now. But I analysis stocks based on volumes (I monitor unusual volumes), dividend yields and Politics( example, I knew Fedility would do well the moment Peter Obi mentioned he had major shares there, yet I lacked funds at that moment to partake. Also I knew Oando would do well immediately BAT won). Registars wahala (among others) has made me not to focus dividend yet I haven't sold my GT shares because of Dividend.

Another methods I use is the word on the street from locals that makes use of the product (just like StreetInvestor, I learnt this from him!), Based on this anybody that is into beer would know that IB is selling in big time among average income earners now. Same with products from Cutix (prices of products lower to Nocaco).

I have come to realizes as a small investor, I would take significant period of years and funds to grow my portfolio. But trading might. That's said, I must confess that I missed many of my picks because I lack good FA or TA to back it up.

Currently, my radar is on Cutix, IB and Aiico. I hope I could get them below 15℅ of their current prices now. I hope I'm not MH now oh.

Also, thanks you made me bought Wapco @26. I am praying to be patient enough to reap bountifully here.

As for we newbies, School fees must be paid Na. Well thanks to God for any monkey Hunting, I don final escape from Afromidia, Omatke, NSlect , gueniea insurance to some extent. Waiting to jump of Afriinsurance and Deep... Abeg make them come MH am. I was trapped there for over two years (especially Afromidia).
