Not only when a battery discharges when idle that it is a problem. Even when a battery doesn't last up to its normal battery life then its also a problem.

Show us some evidence from a Samsung phone that has a definition of a good battery life.

Charging a big battery is however normal If you subject your device to atypical usage........ On dull days when I'm far from a console. I find myself locked in 4-6 hours of gaming (PUBG/Asphalt) and more hours of web surfing and movies. Definitely have to charge after 7-8 hours of uptime.

It only becomes a problem when a battery discharges considerably when it is idle

You can only get 48hrs under low usage for a 4k mah battery if you charge and barely touch your phone.

You are just making a mockery of yourself, it's very possible to charge your new device twice in a day cos you will always be on your phone exploring. Say you started using your phone by 7am under heavy usage and an expected sot of about 7-8hrs your phone will be down by say 3-4pm.
Here you'll need to charge your phone again. I say this cos I've been there and done that. Its nothing new to charge twice in a day if you are a heavy user.
