Bros i know exactly how you feel. Same thing happened to me sometimes ago. I felt so bad cos what I was accused of wasn't even the least thing on my mind. See let me tell you I'm not a perfectionist (nothing on earth is) the moment you are way above average and on the threshold of been perfect (which xiaomi is) I'm sold! I won't spend my whole time seeking for faults and missing out on the good things that is on offer, knowing fully well that i also I'm not perfect. I'm just Happy, in fact grateful that I came across a phone brand called xiaomi.

I was on miui.eu custom rom beta and switched to the same miui.eu stable when I noticed that my battery performance wasn't impressive.

At some certain point major updates like this ought to be stopped for the older models. I read someone's comment that he was unable to use ambient lighting because his phone is the older model. Why will they allow such a feature to be there in the first place if it can not be used.

The update has issues,
In this case Infinix and Tecno would have allowed you to downgrade. But let's hope they try to release an update that will rectify this bug

Nowhere was it stated that not been able to use ambient display was because its an older model. It was made known that ambient display was for models with amoled screen not Ips screen. I'm aghast on how you are able to twist facts here, Guy I must say that you're talented but unfortunately for the wrong reason.

Miui roms encrypt your phone. You'll need to decrypt if you are leaving. No solution as far as I know on Twrp. Then flash disable force encryption zip file.

Maybe other recoveries have devised a means

I made the switch from beta to stable miui 11, xiaomi.eu.
Battery looking sweet.

Good afternoon all pls I tried installing crdriod on my redmi note 7, but after boot up it requested for password to decrypt data but when I tried my password it kept on saying wrong password, I had to format data and reinstalled xiaomi.eu before I could get the phone working again. I lost all my data in the process (thank God for backup). Pls how do I prevent a reoccurance? I mean the phone requesting for password to decrypt data?
