Hello guys, kindly advise me. I have a Toyota RAV4 2004 and I want to use it for Bolt. Is the car ok for the business? Has anyone used it and what's the experience?

You can use any car for bolt and Uber or any e-hailing. Just make sure that the car is in good condition (No check engine light)

People think because it is Toyota and so the parts will be cheap. Honda cars are cheaper to maintain to the Toyotas. Now, let me shock you guys... 2004 rav4 and 2004 Corolla dey use the same engine. Which is the 1ZZ-FE but if you go to the market to buy Corolla engine the amount is higher than when you go for rav4.

I went with my friend to buy oxygen sensor for my 2004 Corolla and his 2005 Camry, the told me N35,000 for my own and told him N25,000.

I parked the car I checked AliExpress I ordered it for N10,500 including shipping.

I mean, there's something following all Corolla users, the sellers, car dealers and mechanics all think that as long as you are a Corolla user, you have money because of bolt and Uber.

So if you want to use your RAV4, go ahead because the fuel economy is the same as the Corolla, if you have any check light rectify it before you start.

Mechanics will tell you it doesn't mean anything, my brother, na big lie 🤥 make sure all sensors are working and your engine thermostat is still in place.

You don't even know the name of the car you are selling. That is a Mazda Xedos 6 92 or 93 model. For that amount do you want to kill somebody? Whoever is buying that car has a lot of work to do on it. Besides there's a plastic missing from the air flow meter compartment

I've read a little about arduino in the past. However,i dont know much about them. But i do know they behave like a computer,by virtue of there programmability. And they stuffs like;taking a certain input/inputs and outputing a certain output/outputs and other stuffs,in respect to what you programmed it to do.
I'll take a pretty look at them.

bro i must really comment on your good work.... thumb ups, you are really good for you to design and build something like this with parts you have at home, you have really done well for urself. even if after building it doesn't work. for the few u have done u have done well. i went through ur pics and saw ur circuits the one u constructed. just in case u are finding it impossible to make it fly, don't be discourage. u can get every parts including the blade (and not the one that will cut u) from arduino stores or u can buy an Arduino UNO R3 board + starter kits. the beauty about it is wonderful things it can do. including programming. I just ordered mine yesterday from amazon at rate of N14,717.69 thats including shipping and handling.

Can I increase the chargeability of my inverter by adding more solar panels without adding extra batteries?

This my present ratings am not satisfy with the charging level with the solar panel below but if i charge it with NEPA it's better, so am thinking of adding more solar panels so that it would increase the level of charging whenever I charge with solar.

I need you guys to advice me and explain better to me

What amps does the solar gives? confirm that and reply but if u cant, u can add another solar parallel to it. i think that should increase the power

Giving that the inverter charges the batteries, if I add solar panels to the mix via a charge controller, won't that overcharge the batteries?

I can't find literature online pertaining to the Nigerian situation, as most topics discuss either on grid or off grid systems.

i have a schematics that will allow the battery to be charged with the solar and when the charging drops to about 10.5 volts it will awitch over to PHCN. the next day when the voltage gets to 11 - 12v it will turn off the PHCN and switch to the solar.

the schematics comprises of a - relay, 555 timer, zener diodes and other components.

Thanks for the contribution... MOSFET can also be used this was the first design but was later modified with MOSFETs IRFP250. A 1k resistor will be connected to the Gain of the MOSFET from the output of the SG3524, a 10k will be connected from the Gain to the Source to Ground and the drain will then go to the transformer. Same will be done to the other output

well its depends on the rating of the solar panel and the charger, you may decide to add an extra battery and it will charge perfectly.. But adding the solar panel can result you adding a simple circuit that consist of zener diode to cutoff the voltage when it is fully charged and when it sense another voltage from other source

WELCOME TO THE HOME OF SHARING IDEAS, SHARING TALENTS AND NOT SHARING ABUSES AND INSULTS

Please this post is not for people who wants to learn how to solder, and for people that cannot identify the simplest components.
So as the founder of the post I would like to start up with a simple 250 to 5000 watts PWM DC – AC 220v power inverter. I hope this forum allows the display of .jpg and .pdf file -The schematic circuit design is for a 250 watt output, while the pics are of my 1500 watts inverter that i built, to increase the power of the circuit you have to add more of the Q7 and Q8 transistors in parallel, each pair you add will increase your power by 250 watts, ex: to get 750 watts of power from the inverter you need to add 2 of Q7 and 2 of Q8 to the original design.

--If you increase the power transistors you have to enlarge the T2 transformer to match the new needs, the circuit's transformer is rated 25 amps to handle 250 watts of 220v, for every 1 additional amp you need on the 220v side you have to increase 10 amps on the 12v side, of course there are limits to the thickness of the winding so if you need more than 750 watts i recommend that you use a 24VDC supply instead of 12 volts:

*The transformer should be "center tapped" at the primary side.
**You can make the secondary 110v if needed.
***The transformer in the pic is a custom made (48V center tapped / 220v ) 2000 watts

--R1 is to set the PWM to 220v
--R2 is to set the frequency to 50 or 60 Hz

--Use either tantalum or polyester film "as in pic" for the 104 caps, ceramic disc caps change value once hot and this in turn changes the frequency of the inverter so they are not recommended.
--Wiring should be thick enough to handle the huge amps drain from the batteries.
--The design does not include a battery charger since each person will be building a custom version of the inverter with specific power needs.
--A cooling fan will be needed to reduce heat off the heat sinks and transformer, i recommend getting a 220v fan and connecting it to the output T2 transformer, when you power up the circuit the fan will start this will always give you a simple way to know that 220v is present and everything is OK..

--2 circuit breakers are recommended instead of fuses, one on the DC side and one on the AC side, depending on your design
Ex: for a 24vDC ( 1500 watts design ) put a 60Amp breaker on the DC side and a 6Amp on the AC side.
For every 1amp of 220vAC you will be draining like 8 to 10 Amps from the 12v battery, make your calculations !

-- The 2 Heat sinks should be big enough to cool the transistors, they are separate and should NOT touch each other.

--Be cautious when building this circuit it involves high voltage which is lethal, any part you touch when the circuit is ON could give you a nasty painful jolt, specially the heat-sinks, never touch them when the circuit is on to see if the transistors are hot !!

Here I intend to generate up to 100 Watts from 12v so that I can run equipment that is not sensitive to frequency, level or waveform. This means lighting, including flourescent and economy lamps. It also includes transformer-operated equipment. It does NOT include any device using AC motors or Switch-Mode Power Supply units (SMPSU)

This inverters main advantage is the few components required.
The circuit operation itself is nothing more than a simple multivibrator.

The transformer in this circuit can be any mains transformer that will take the power, but with two identical secondaries, or a "split secondary" winding. For example, a 230v - 12-0-12v transformer can be used in this circuit to convert 12v DC to 230v AC.

The two resistors in the circuit must be rated at a sufficient power level that they will not burn. For a 12v inverter you can use a pair of 14v 0.1A indicator lamps, since these are cheaper than 1.5 Watt resistors (here in Nigeria). If you want a 48v DC input 500 Watt inverter, then use 100W 230v lamps.

The output of this inverter will normally tolerate a short-circuit, but the output frequency will vary considerably, possibly from 35Hz with no load, to 150Hz with full load. But for loads with transformer input, and for lamps, this is quite acceptable.
