Can a design be done in Figma while the app functionality be implemented in any programming language like java or python

Designs are normally done with apps like Figma, XD and sketch. It gives a feel of how the product looks like before the development commences.
It is always advisable to design first before development and that's where UI/UX designers come in.

It's just like architects and builders. UI/UX designers are the architects while developers are the builders. A builder builds what an architect draws, similarly a developer develops what a designer designed.

Mine is mostly via referrals oh, that's why it's good to always grow your network.

Just do the following:

- Start attending tech events
- Post your works across different platforms including WhatsApp status(You don't know who is watching)
- Join communities and also contribute.

I have gotten a gig here on Nairaland though it's just one.

Getting a good workspace increases productivity.

UIUX currently is not what it used to be like years ago. The competition is a lot tougher. But if that's what you have passion for, please go for it.

The learning phase is subjective and it never ends. It took me over six months to be confident in my design skills.
