Putindbutt: Those people running after vehicles in traffick to sell gala or the nwa boys slaving under their masters for 10-15 years, those who think business is about hiding inside a 2by2, watch as they will come here to insult Obi Cubana. Are you talking about those who use hawking of gala and their 2*2 shop to buy up your ancestral lands? Respect that gala hawking and 2*2 shop, it has done a lot of wonders in your region. |

|
Politics › Re: Abia Unaffected By National Grid Collapse - Governor Otti by Macphenson: 1:50pm On Jan 31 |
Image123: Thanks to Buhari and now Tinubu who did the electricity reform. And Nnaji who built a private IPP.
The Electricity Act 2023 (signed into law by President Tinubu) overhauled Nigeria’s power sector laws and replaced the old 2005 Power Sector Reform Act. Importantly: States, companies, and individuals can now generate, transmit, and distribute electricity independently within their territories or project areas — no longer restricted to the national grid or traditional utility model. Small-scale projects (e.g., generation ≤1 MW or distribution ≤100 kW at a site) may be pursued without a licence, which reduces barriers for businesses and investors. This decentralisation is intended to encourage local power markets, microgrids, off-grid systems, and new private participation across Nigeria.
The Aba Integrated Power Project (often referred to as the Aba IPP) was developed and built by Geometric Power Group, led by Professor Barth (“Bart”) Nnaji, a Nigerian engineer and former Power Minister. It was conceived in March 2004 by Prof. Barth Nnaji and the team at Geometric Power Group. It was officially commissioned on 26 February 2024 in Abia State. It was inaugurated by Nigeria’s Federal Government (represented by the Vice President) and Geometric Power after years of delays and development. This project is a 141 MW gas-fueled integrated power plant (expandable to 188 MW) located in the Osisioma Ngwa area of Aba, Abia State, supplying electricity generation and distribution across nine local government areas within the Aba ring-fenced zone. Financing was supported by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and other investors. i understand folks will tell us Otti and LP did it, don't panic guys. Which yeye Buhari and Tinubu? All thanks to Goodluck Jonathan, Ngozi Okonji Iwuala and Alex Otti. They are the drivers of that project. Barth Nnaji said on the day of commissioning that Alex Otti helped them with funds while he was in Diamond Bank. Shettima was there when he said it For your information I submitted my CV for work there in 2011 when I finished my youth service. Una dey ment with foolish propaganda. |

As for your ignorant comment, if you followed up the commissioning of that power plant, you would have heard Barth Nnaji mentioned that Alex Otti assisted them with funds when he was still in Diamond Bank, today, providence is smiling on him for his good works. seunmsg: This thing still found a way to major this thread about bigotry. A thread about a streamer’s complain about the rigors of academic exercise has been quickly turned to Yorubas are into fraud, thuggery, prostitution, begging etc. The moderators and forum moralist as usual will look away until another person comes up with a nastier pushback. Thereafter, they will come out and start crying.
Ishowspeed is one of the most popular streamer in the world. He’s not more educated than Peller and he has never shown any interest in going back to school. So, is America loosing their edge in education? Are they now giving tacit support to prostitution, drugs, fraud etc?
Seriously, some of you think you can bully the extraordinary Yoruba people simply because you want political power? Is this how you want to make a new Nigeria possible? Through bigotry? Through daily attacks on Yoruba people? Buddy, Tueh!! You are no different from the person you are chastising. Do you even know if he is Igbo? Even if he is, is that Peter Obi"s opinion on this subject matter? Yet you have to bring Obi's Presidential ambition in. See my friend, you are exactly what you are criticizing |
