The way you people lie ignorantly and carelessly. Fubara is in a tight corner today because he started implementing the resolutions of that peace deal. He took the first step and withdrew the court case. Even when he applied to the court to withdraw the case, the judge asked him if he was sure of what he is doing and if he really wanted to do that which his lawyers answered in affirmitive.
Wike on the other hand never implemented any part of the deal. He never withdrew his own court case, Fubara even shouted out that Wike is not implementing his own part of the deal.

If Fubara did not withdraw that court case, he wont be in this tight corner.
Indeed he was ambushed by that peace deal.

Honestly speaking He shouldnt have withdrawn that suit.

You’re very naive. Appealing a judgement doesn’t automatically amounts to a stay of execution. He will have to apply and the judge will have to grant it. As at this morning, no stay of execution order has been granted.

Even if the case gets to the Supreme Court next year, he will still lose because the budget he’s implementing was never passed into law by the Rivers State house of Assembly. And guess what, that would be the end of Cubara. Implementing an illegal budget is a serious violation of the constitution and a very good ground for impeachment. The Supreme Court will never validate the affront on the Constitution so he’s going to enter into more troubles once the case is decided at the apex court.

At this point, you all should be telling him to retrace his steps and do the right thing. It is not too late to represent the budget to the Rivers State House of Assembly. No one should be allowed to violate the constitution because of political differences.

The suit challenging the validity of House of Assembly members is still in Appeal court, Until the court confirms them members, Fubara is not representing the budget. Infact 2025 budget will soon be presented to the house members.

Yyba come and see the appeal. In the previous thread I said the judgement will be appealed with a stay of execution, here it is right now. After appeal court, it will head to supreme court. By then, the year is over.

Tinubu literally allowed the Aboki on the street to decide the value of the Naira. There were no palliative measures put in place to cushion the effect before the subsidy removal. He couldnt even do proper consultations. Even the Dangote Refinery you all were touting as the almighty solution to the economic woes brought about by the harsh policies, is today not spared by the effects of those policies.

A lot of my developer friends are in a mess because they borrowed money from banks to initiate their project before the disaster happened to Nigeria. Now they cant complete their projects and banks are threatning to take over.

I did a little research on the hospitality sector in Lagos. Over 60% of the hotels in Lagos are now up for sale. Go and verify. All of them are feeling the heat of the Blabablue's economy even in a hustling and bustling city like Lagos.

Let tell you, there was a JV project we started before Tinubu took over. The project was estimated to cost about #1.2B to complete. Most of the shops in the complex were sold off plan. While the project was ongoing, prices skyrocketted. A ton of iron estimated at 450k rose to #1.3M and later came down to #950k. Cement that was estimated at #4500k is now #8500. 30Ton granite that was estimated at #250k is now #550k.
Remember the sales were made based on the initial estimates. Now that project is under coma because of the present economic realities all thanks to Tinubu's economic policies. I put it to you that you are not doing anything productive in your life.

Each day I go to market to buy materials for work, I am always annoyed and agitated. Nobody is making profit anymore. We are just pushing to be busy.
