This one has failed. the only protest that will work is against BH and their supporters. if some people feel that their tribes men/women have not been represented well in this current govt. wait till 2015 |
Police will not shoot protesters, they will rather shoot area boys and looters who will use the protest as a reason for rubbery and other anti-social behaviours capable of causing danger to other citizens. |
Ayo-olu12:Here is another Margot. if you care to know, the yoruba chances of business is limited only to lagos because they scared to invest in other state. But the SE are Explorers without limit, make business go round in the country even in your village you have the services of at lease one SE. |
amtheone:must you voice out your silly ignorance on the forum. |
Dvampire:i trust the SS they will not start a war they would not finish. so they take their time to handle the issue. Not like the Yoruba noise making folks, who are COWARDS. |
alj harem:Mr. defender have you also protested today? or is your protest only on NL. and who is the leader of your protest group. some jobless area boys like you would not even wait for NLC to give a go ahead before you start looting. |
I am becoming disenchanted with the whole disgusting behaviours of the Yoruba's in Nigeria. simply because the SS/SE did not immediately join the protest against subsidy removal, which has not actually started anyway, those Yoruba noise makers are crying as if they are hit with a plague. But when the real protest get tough, trust me the Yoruba's will vanish living the SS/SE to be at the war front, because of their natural Coward nature. My experience is that Edos the whole of SS/ SE are for action in real life, not like yoruba SYCOPHANTS. |
Very funny and jobless guys here on NL, they call for Revolution for any government policy. All over the globe you here and read about economic reforms, even if it hurts now but will strengthen the economy in the future. Those beggars calling for Revolution are the same guys the politicians used as hooligans to get into office. When the real cause for Revolution starts the hypocrites will certainly pay solidarity with the so called politicians and sell theirs rights for penny. |
Buhari is another Maradona you cannot trust. the earlier we put this man behind us, the better for the country. Why cant he try farming, eh!! |

oyb:I i really appreciate your genuine responces guys. the fact is i am 50 i am not going to fold my arms in 9jaa and just depend only on my 350k pension. i also have some offers to work part-time with some German estb. in lagos may be additional 250k-300k per month as translator for foreign expatriates. i have some 2 or 3 offers i am now considering |
Hi NL, i am knew on NL and i sincerely need you guys sincere advise. The company i worked for in Germany since 1989 is retiring Engineers with over 20 years working experience. i was offered a retirement benefit of 1750 EURO per month, (350k per month) 30% less full pension for the next 15 years , while my full pension benefit will be at 65years. i am confussed now, i wanted to accept the offer and return to 9 jaa after 28years in Europe. But my in-laws and some extended family members advised me that 350,000 Naira guaranteed pension benefit is not enough for me to survive with my wife, because of extended family responsibilities. Our 2 kids born in Germany are staying back to complete their University education. i am planning visiting 9jaa to see things for myself, i got already a flat at ikoyi @750k per annum. considering the high cost of living in Lagos today, do you think the Naira 350k per month will be something to return home for. Your sincere advise please , before i pay for the flat at ikoyi i have till June this year to decided |
