Pastorjohn2:
Truly Nigerians are wicked at heart, Even with how hard the Tinubu government is working to make things easier.
These wicked store owners are busy increasing prices.
If Tinubu were to bundle all of them into cells and give 1 or 2 capital punishment. They'll call him wicked.

May the lord have mercy on the souls of these wicked traders.

You sound like a bitter soul. Did the government buy the cow for them? What do you mean by the Tinubu government working to make things easier? Like cheap transportation or cheaper feed?

At least for here, if I am working, with time, time will come back good because it is a working system unlike Nigeria that you may be working and your hardwork is truncated by Peter Obi, Tinubu and Atiku e.t.c

Your fellow Nigerian sef is ready to spoil your hustle without no cause.

All that you listed are just assumptions and excuses. Onyema is a businessman. He has been doing business with the government for years now. If he wants the partnership with Nigeria Air, he knows the right way to go

Have you listened to the former Minister of Aviation's media interviews when Air Peace was suggested to fly Nigeria Air? Did you not hear the criticism and false allegations against Air Peace including the false assumptions that he projected to keep the Airline in bad shape in the eyes of the international community and investors? No group can defeat the Nigerian military. Any ethnic group fighting the military is only giving opportunity for these soldiers to destroy their lands and kill the weak targets among them.

As if the military is made up of one ethnicity. What didn't you understand when Buhari and Northern Oligacy condemned the State of Emergency in the Northeast and condemned any all-out war against Bokoharam?

Ethnic war is not hard to start but very hard to stop. Some military actions against major ethnic groups in Nigeria will lead to civil war and the military will be divided on how to fight. Some in support and some against.

Read your submissions. Bulshit I don’t have that sort of time nothing worth comes out of you

If Air Peace is a foreign Airline, the FG would have permitted them to float Nigeria Air. The government of Buhari jettisoned the idea because of tribalism and instead scammed 230 million Nigerians with painted Ethiopia Airlines.

The number of fleets at Air Peace's disposal is worth the permission to float Nigeria Air but politics of region and ethnicity wouldn't allow that.

Because the President and their party leader have nothing to showcase or celebrate

During Jonathan's administration, PDP will be posting projects and economic advancement while the opposition counters by asking the cost, the delivery and quality but today the government and their sycophants attack the opposition who are asking for transparency and yet nothing has been done to better the life of ordinary citizens on the streets of Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Maidugiri, Portharcort and Aba

For your second paragraph. The deity will even strike the man and not the woman. The woman may only run mad.

This was done because, for a woman that truely love her husband before marrying him will never try to cheat for any reason. She knows what is at stake before trying such

The deities do not work until appeased with the blood of animals and kolanuts. If you stop appeasing the gods or deities in Igboland nothing happens.

This submission generated loads of reactions on Twitter which is really educating. I have learnt alot about some Igbos culture and the two most surprising it among it all are:

1. Girls staying back in their father house to give them male child.

2. Mothers marrying for their late sons. The said wife is free to go and get pregnant anywhere just to have children that will answer the late man's name.

Let me attach some screenshot from the tweet.

Those are Igbo culture.

Biden and the satanic Zionists engaging in the willful slaughter of innocent civilians in Gaza.

Occupying only Palestine isn't their endgame. Google their map of "Greater Israel" and you'll see that their occupation will spread to Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Cyprus and Turkey. Palestine is only the beginning for these colonizers.

All their plans evolve around eliminating the threat to their plans and the primary threat to them are Muslims and Arabs because Islam is the biggest enemy to Satanism, they are clearing the path to their fake Messiah (the Anti Christ) this is why they are trying to take down the Aqsa mosque so then can build their temple on top of it where they will receive the Anti Christ, the less Muslims around the easier it will be for them

Not to mention the more innocent lives they take and spread destruction and degeneracy the closer they get to their god and to meeting their fake Messiah, this is what satanists do like the Nazies, the KKK, and any other racist cults that claim to be followers of God, they take pleasure in targeting innocent civilians.

You just explained Arabs. What are Arabs doing in Africa? When are they going? Has colonization not ended?
There should be no Arab in Africa. L

Politics / Re: Statistics: Percentage Of The Population Living In Their State Of Origin by MadamExcellency: 8:55pm On Mar 29
Obi1kenobi:
This is not well articulated. Does this mean:
1) Percentage of residents of a state that are indigenes of that state (e.g percentage of Anambra residents who are indigenes of Anambra)
2) Percentage of indigenes of a state who reside in their state of origin (e,g percentage of Anambra indigenes who reside in Anambra)

This means that four in every ten people living in Anambra State is not from Anambra State. They are migrants.

Imo State cannot be 96% living in their State. Maybe 65% to 70% very close to Anambra.

Imo people are just living outside of the LGA and full in Owerri. The Stats is correct +/- 5% for Imo State

It's a shame that none of the people commenting understood the statistics.

It's saying that in Lagos State the percentage of indigenes to settlers is 20%. It doesn't mean that the main indigenous people are away. Likewise, nonindigenes in Anambra State are more than 30% when compared to indigenes from the State.

She married her in the husband's name for procreation and family continuity since she is barren and the husband's kinsmen will give the woman belle. It is called preserving the family line.

As ancient Hebrews, the concept comes from the context of this passage of the Old Testament, I presume.

Deuteronomy 25:5-7 CSB
"When brothers live on the same property and one of them dies without a son, the wife of the dead man may not marry a stranger outside the family. Her brother-in-law is to take her as his wife, have sexual relations with her, and perform the duty of a brother-in-law for her. [6] The first son she bears will carry on the name of the dead brother, so his name will not be blotted out from Israel. [7] But if the man doesn't want to marry his sister-in-law, she is to go to the elders at the city gate and say, 'My brother-in-law refuses to preserve his brother's name in Israel. He isn't willing to perform the duty of a brother-in-law for me.';

Do you know that if you are charged to court for breach of a marriage proposal? It requires only three or more witnesses to refer to the lady as your wife to convict you.

Police/Court - Do you know Ebere
First Neighbour - You mean Ade's wife?
Police/Court - We are looking for Ebere
Second Neighbour - That's Ade's wife
Police/Court - We are looking for Ade's wife who sells food items.
Third Neighbour - Let me go and call her, she's Aunty Ebere.

You are guilty.

10 strange laws you didn’t know existed in Nigeria.

10 Strange Laws Momany Nigerians Don't Know About. No. 1 Will Shock you

In every corner of the world, legal systems are shaped by cultural norms, historical legacies, and societal values, often giving rise to unique and sometimes surprising laws. Nigeria, a land of vibrant culture, rich history, and diverse traditions is no exception. These laws might make you scratch your head, chuckle, or simply wonder at the vast array of what’s considered legal (or not) across the world. So, let’s take a stroll through some of the strange laws you didn’t know existed in Nigeria.

1. Promise-and-Fail Marriage Law

Nigerian law permits individuals to pursue legal action against former partners for breach of promise to marry.

2. Wife’s Immunity

Under Nigerian law, there is a provision aimed at protecting wives in Christian marriages from being held criminally responsible for actions they are compelled to do by their husbands in his presence.

3. Army Green Ban

The Army Colour (Prohibition of Use) Act in Nigeria prohibits the painting of private cars in the colour known as ‘army green.’

4. Reward for Stolen Property

Offering a reward for the return of stolen or lost property without asking questions or threatening seizure is deemed illegal under Nigerian law.

5. Jactitation of Marriage

Ever had someone boast that they’re married to you when they’re not? In Nigeria, you can take them to court for it. This law enables individuals to protect their marital status and reputation from false assertions, safeguarding their legal rights and personal dignity.

6. Caning for Minor

In Nigeria, a male person under 17 years of age found guilty of an offence may be ordered to be caned, in addition to or instead of other punishments.

7. Witchcraft Representation

Representing oneself as a witch or claiming to possess the power of witchcraft is considered a misdemeanor in Nigerian law.

8. Year And a Day Rule

In Nigerian jurisprudence, the ‘Year and a Day Rule’ establishes a time limit for determining legal causation in cases of homicide. This rule stipulates that a person cannot be deemed responsible for causing another’s death if it occurs more than a year and a day after the initial incident, reflecting principles of fairness and practicality in legal proceedings.

9. Treatment of Animals in Transit

Nigerian regulations mandate the humane treatment of animals during transit, particularly when being transported for trade purposes.

10. Respect for the Flag

Nigerian law requires that the national flag be displayed with dignity and respect, prohibiting its use in a faded, defaced, or otherwise improper condition.

Many people don't know about the promise and fail marriage is a crime

Properties / Re: Rich People In Nigeria In Year 2000 vrs 2024 by MadamExcellency: 5:30am On Mar 29
Convert the value of those properties to dollar with the prevalent exchange rate at the time and recalculate the cost in Naira. That radio set is N20,000 then divided by 100 (1999/2000 exchange rate) this will give you $200.

In 2024, the radio set will cost N1400 x 200 = 280,000. Then do for the VCR and the Television.
