I still wonder how the Economies of these heavily sanctioned countries are better than Nigeria.
Business / Re: Economy: Nigerians Look Up To 10 Companies In 2024 by MadamExcellency: 5:47pm On Jan 28

That is if Nigerians are ready to pay for electricity at market prices, not government prices.

We are talking about industries, not domestic users.

Do you know that Star Paper Mills in Abia State has 6 units of 3 MWatts of Generating Sets totalling 18MWatts of Electricity? They are Diesel Generators and the company buys the diesel at market value and you are asking to pay a fair price for electricity? You do not know that one company operate 18 MWatts that can power a city of domestic users. Stop being obsessed with inflicting more pain on the populace.

Industries and corporations are paying their fair share but the supply is inadequate or non-existent.

Lmaooo landlords would love it more

Rent would be so expensive in 10 years

I will triple (if not in multiple of ten) the capital paid for rent over twelve months.

Buying and selling fruits and vegetables with such capital will generate money for building your own house in five years.

What is good about it? undecided

You are confused, a young graduate can start a process of disengaging from the parents with a meagre budget. Others include:

1. Flexibility: Allows for easy relocation or changes in living arrangements.
2. Affordability: Smaller, manageable rent payments improve financial planning.
3. Protection: Gives tenants the option to move out if living conditions are unacceptable.
4. Negotiation power: Shorter terms enable rent renegotiation and potential savings.
5. Easier financial planning: Consistent payment schedule aids budgeting.

Overall, monthly tenancy provides flexibility, affordability, protection, negotiation power, and easier financial planning for individuals from the poor and middle class.

Why the criticism? This is a good bill. Nawa for all these jobless men that their parents left buildings as an inheritance.

Go and look for work. Buildings are legacy projects and long-term investments. Not a get-rich-quick business.
Politics / Re: How Is It That Tinubu Cannot Halt Naira Downward Slide? by MadamExcellency: 9:09am On Jan 27
If you know the amount of money being printed by CBN in Tinubu's administration, you wouldn't ask this question.

Print money, and your currency devalues.

Politics / Re: Army Discovers Burnt Corpses Of Policemen & Cannibalism In ESN Imo Camp by MadamExcellency: 9:03am On Jan 27
These evil men want to come back to terrorize Imo State after the relative peace we had all through the festive seasons.

Take your discoveries to your barracks. The killings subsided because President Tinubu wouldn't allow them to chase Spirit in place of humans.

They want to cash in again by disrupting the peace in the State.

But you said others can't do without Western aid, when will you stop all these lies?

What do you mean? Israel is a $44 billion economy with 9 million people while Nigeria is barely $4 billion with 230 million people.

You call it Aid but it's weapon development and scientific research counterpart funding.

As Christians this is not a crime, as long as he doesn't intend to sell it for profit

If it's to feed his hungry stomach then it's not a crime biblically

That's not biblical guideline.

Exodus 22:1,4 KJV
If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. [4] If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

Just be of good character, humble, moderate, and accessible. The good husband will come. Even if you don't have your children out of it, you can still be a good stepmother to the children of a widower. They will appreciate you if you can be a good mum to them to ease off the pain of the death of their biological mother.

Be patient, your time will come. You will find love and a family.

Why can't they go to Glo and MTN offices or Banks to do it for free? I did mine in the Bank without paying a kobo. My children did theirs at the Globacom office. It is free. One week waiting period and you collect the printouts

The Appeal Court can’t sit on his Appeal. Let us even assume that they can sit, the 180days have expired
Mutfwang should advise them to stay away. Then Plateau Commissioner of Police should speak to them as gentlemen to obey the court and Prepare for 2027 or still Police should arrest them immediately

The court can review their judgment. This is a redress, not a hearing. The Appeal Court is bound by the judgment of the Supreme Court.
Politics / Re: Relocation Of FAAN, CBN: Move the Commerce Ministry To Onitsha Or Kano - Dalhatu by MadamExcellency: 10:48am On Jan 23
South Africa has three administrative capitals. These are:

1. Pretoria: Pretoria is the executive capital of South Africa and serves as the administrative center of the national government. It is where the President's office and other government departments are located.

2. Cape Town: Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa and is home to the National Parliament. This is where the National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces conduct their sessions.

3. Bloemfontein: Bloemfontein is the judicial capital of South Africa and houses the Supreme Court of Appeal. It is where the highest court is located, handling appeals and constitutional matters.

These three cities each have their own distinct roles in governing South Africa, representing the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the government.

4. The commercial capital of South Africa is Johannesburg. Johannesburg is the largest city in the country and serves as the economic hub of the nation. It is home to many businesses, financial institutions, and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The city is known for its vibrant business sector, including industries such as mining, finance, manufacturing, and telecommunications. Johannesburg also has a rich cultural scene, with numerous museums, galleries, and entertainment venues.
