Twist of Event.

Consequent upon subsisting
order of the FCT High Court of 16th March, 2020, by Hon. Justice Bature, recognising the acting National Secretary, Victor Giadom as the acting National Chairman in Suit No. FCT/HC/M/6447/2020, the said Victor Giadom is hereby by that order the legally recognised acting National Chairman of APC.

ARTICLE 20 APC CONSTITITUTION

"ELECTIONS AND APPOINTMENTS
i. Unless otherwise provided for:
a. All Party posts prescribed or implied by this Constitution shall be
filled by democratically conducted elections at the respective National Convention or Congress subject; where possible to consensus, provided that where a Candidate has emerged by consensus for an elective position, a vote of “yes” or “no” by ballot or voice shall be called, to ensure that it was not an imposition which could breed discontent and crisis."

So, which APC full or midterm convention Ajimobi, Bulama and Isa-Onilu as Deputy National Chairman, South, National Secretary and National Publicity Secretary emerged from?

Oshiomhole illegally appointing people into positions is not the same as national convention.

None of those above are NWC member of APC and none can act as one.

Sen. Shuaibu remains the acting Chairman of APC by doctrine of necessity.

Even if Oshiomole goes for stay of execution with his appeal to Supreme Court, which is likely not to be granted, the day Supreme Court will affirm Court of Appeal's decision which is most likely, APC will become candidateless eventually in both Edo and Ondo state elections. That's the implications.

So, Sen. Shuaibu-led APC NWC and NEC will definitely oppose any stay of execution citing the impending injury such could cause the party.

Pastor Ize Iyamu don enter one chance

He is not yet a member of APC
The current Edo state APC chairman Ojezua who is in Obaseki camp will not accept or allow Ize Iyamu to be accepted as a member of APC is any of the wards in Edo state.
It still baffles me how an intelligent and smart politician like Ize Iyamu got caught into this political trap.

For Oshiomole to Suspension's be lifted , he has to go back and beg the Obaseki controlled Edo APC led by Ojezua.. .. Oshiomole has to go back to village and beg His ward chairman who is just a small boy, he suspended Oshiomole at the ward level and it was ratified at all levels both Local government, state and National. .....Oshiomole brought this all on him self because of his arrogance, greediness and power drunk attitude.


Oshiomole was suspended at his ward by an ordinary ward chairman, who is loyal to the Obaseki, Philip Shaibu and Ojezua camp. Oshiomole never took his suspension serious, he thought a ordinary ward chairman can not suspend him.

The supreme court will still affirm Oshiomole's Suspension take that to the bank, because he has truly been suspended by the Obaseki controlled Edo APC chapter, until Edo APC lifts the suspension, Oshiomole should forget about having anything to do with APC.

But if Oshobaba eventually installs POI, Obaseki's disaffections would be seen as a child's play. POI is a highly revered and a political Juggernaut who commands mouthwatering political clouts in Edo state. POI almost defeated Oshobaba, Obaseki, Fed government and the whole rigging apparatuses last term. The margin was very slim. Oshobaba would be making a grave mistake by anointing POI. POI is never a light or paper weight politician whom Oshobaba would want to him to be dancing to his whims and caprices into subjugation. POI is heavy weight politician and a political enchilada in Edo state. Mark this today, if POI succeeds, he will alienate and clip Oshobaba's wing and send him to a political oblivion of no return.

Oshiomole is walking into a big trap, that will spell political demise for him

For those who are not conversant with Edo politics, nothing like federal might protection for Oshiomole's APC candidate on election day, rather such accord will be granted to Obaseki no matter the party he represents.

Oshiomole has made many enemies than friends among Top APC echelons at the Federal Level.

The odds are against Oshiomole and his APC faction.

Edo elections is part of 2023 elections political alignment.
