This is a false alarm against the innocent girl. From the video I don't see anything that point that she will be selling the water.
Why she is refilling the plastics with water is best known to her but it is very far from hawking it. |

Thank you sir for this interesting and educative post. Eriokanmi: Has anyone here read of the Adebisi Idikan and family in Ibadan? Has anyone read of the historic wedding of one of his daughters which shook the entire Yorubaland at that time and atrended by Britons? Had anyone learnt of this man, who once paid the taxes of the entire men in the ibadan city for years to the colonialists in that era? His house was the best and most expensive in ibadan during his day's.
His friend happened to be the father of the first lawyer and first medical doctor in the old oyo empire, including ibadan.
While lagos has always been known for feferities and societal events, cheered by the big and mighty, we can't conclude that more of such great events weren't taking place in towns and cities outside Lagos in that era. During this time, only Lagos Island, Ebute Metta, Yaba and some adjoining places in Apapa formed Lagos while other places were full of water and tick forest. Most of the areas which now form part of lagos used to be part of the Ogun state land. Agege, the entire alimosho, Berger, Ojodu, olowoora, etc, used to be Ogun state even Ketu down to Ikorodu used to be Ogun territories. While some other parts were inhabited by the binis. Some of these areas are the Igas on the island, Oshodin( now known as oshodi). Oshodin is actually an edo word. It doesn't have any meaning in our tribe and language. Some people in order to gain relevance in Lagos gave themselves that name oshodi. Same as Docemo( a white name) now called Dosunmu. Iga Iduganran are bini words. Madam Tinubu was originally from egba. She never had a child to herself. People came.and adopted that name as their surname, just to gain relevance. It's a woman's name. As powerful as she was, one of her husbands (the borno man who was one of her workers) had to bear her name as his last name
Meanwhile, Ibadan, the so called brown roofed city was the most civilised of all cities in west Africa as of then. Those brown roofs were owned by the rich ones who came from far and near to settle in Ibadan the way they do in Lagos today. If your father had an iron sheet on his roof in those days, then he must be rich because during that era when Iron sheets were trending, only about 25% of all the buildings in Nigeria had iron sheets coverings on their roofs. They were mainly covered with bamboos. You hardly see the brown-roofed buildings in several of the present day towns and cities, except in some villages where those who built in the cities during the era also built houses the way many also do today.
While Lagos could be termed a place for societal events, Ibadan had witnessed several of such historical events too, similar to what the OP put up. Back then, Lagos used to be 2nd home of the egbas. Those mentioned in that lagos wedding were originally from egba in what is now called Ogun state. They came and settled here and became part of us. My maternal side ( the Jakandes) came from Kwara, the igbomina area of kwara.
Those praising lagos should remember that a tree doesn't form a forest. Other tribes too contributed immensely towards the development of our great state. I wonder why people hardly talk of the likes of ojukwus and other families. The man who once owned the largest transport company in Africa. The man who once owned limousine and other exotic cars, yet unlettered. God bless Lagos. God bless Nigeria and Nigerians. |

This is what madam Sanwo-Olu said as reported " She said, “ An arrow has been fired into the health family. The first of August is a day I will never forget The same day a helicopter crashed, the same day a lift dropped down. How? How? How?” Please maybe I don't have enough knowledge like you, could you please educate me how she's wrong. Rayban25: You've not answered my question. If that was said about your own daughter and sanwo olu wife said that same exact statement will you like it?
Okay leave his wife. It might even be a close friend or colleague that might have said such about your daughter. It dosent change the fact that it is insensitive |

Maybe you should learn how to be objective and stop being emotional. What exactly is wrong with what madam Sanwo-Olu said? Rayban25: This is the main problem with you apc supporters. That you want to support a government dosent mean you must support every nonsense that they say or do. Recieve sense for once.
If your daughter fell in an elevator due to poor management and someone who dosent know you personally comes to give a stupid opinion about your condition spiritually will you like it? Just be quiet |

It is only sit at home people, born with dark heart that will always want to compete with everyone.
