Insurance to cover a period of 16th September 2018 – 27th November 2019......that was from my cousin.meanwhile the school resumes September, how can we overcome this since the interview date is well after the resumption date, the deposit has been paid already

Theres is an exception for TRNC student visa interview. So whenever you are ready, gather your documents and visit the Turkish embassy on any Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays.. Best of Luck

You simply go to a change office dat accept card withdrawals.. dey will do the transaction for you with 5% commission.. and Yes you can use ur mastercard for all kinds of shoppings.. so u naija account can be very useful for u here..
But to withdraw from an ATM with your naija MasterCard.. sorry I don't think its possible.

Ticket and passport.. make it handy thruout ur journey.. maybe have it in a small bag with u.. and make sure u eat plenty during ur flight.. enjoy ur money well

Always note the time of ur flights and be attentive to annoucements at d airport..

Wen u get to ercan airport , u might be asked to show ur acceptance letter.. also follow for the big bus (Kibhas) and tell dem ur destination.. Much cheaper dan taksi (dats if u dnt have anibody pickin u up)..

No, you are not required to bring it along because you will be tested again when you get here. It's advisible you do the test in Nigeria first just to know your status, because if you are tested positive here, you will face deportation.

Wen u gat all d above, U apply online thru the embassy website, and wen u done, dnt mind d date given.. just visit the embassy the next visa day (monday Wednesday or Friday), if ur documents are complete and certified.
3. U need a certificate of medical fitness from a FEDERAL hospital.. dnt waste ur money on private.

I got mine in ministry of health (Federal Secretariat- ground floor)..carry ur int'l passport along.. paid for some vaccines, cant remember exactly how much... It shuld be around 3-5k.. pls carry more, just incase.. Goodluck

As a way of giving back after gaining so much from this thread. I will list the documents to take to the Turkish embassy along diplomatic drive abuja, after gaining admission.


1. Visa app form with two passports

2. Photocopy of passport data page

3. Acceptance letter

4. Telex from bank (receipt of payment)

5. Authenticated SSCE cert (with the ministry of education and foreign afffairs <mondays - thursdays only> {#300 per document page} )

6. Authenticated transcript ( same as (no 5.) but for post graduate studies)

7 Authenticated SOR or Bsc Certificate (for post graduate studies)

8. Flight booking reservation

9. Notarized Letter of sponsorship (with any court)

9. Health Insurance

10. International passport

11. Yellow fever card

12. 250$ ( embassy recieves only $$$ { year 2006 -2013 print notes preferably} , pls do not bring the naira equivalent.. exchange b4 visiting d embassy)

13. Certificate of medical fitness from any federal hospital (only federal pls).

Arrange the documents according to this order 1-13
Wen you don all this, visit the embassy, and prepared to recieve ur visa in about a week. Visa days are Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays

Some guys had to to pay up to 15k to some money mongers outside the embassy to quickly Authenticate their certificates for them. So get all your stuvs done, so u dont have any issue at the embassy.
