I believe that you must have rounded up your nysc before most of these schools opens their application portal so I suggest u get ready to apply this year. Start checking most of them from September. Endeavour to get your transcript, BSc certificate(original) not statement of result and waec certificate ready.

Get the courses you wish and prepare your statement of purpose for them too before then.

Sorry, they do not accept Statement of Result?? Cos dats wat i have, originals are not yer ready

Helo guys... this thread needs to start booming!!..For the hopefuls like me in #Team2017, its almost time for application, we need to start gathering documents
I have a few questions tho..
Applying to NTNU and NMBU, Msc, i have an uncle who resides in norway and he is ready to sponsor me, pls do i have to collect bank statement from him or wat shuld i collect from him to fit into that financing spot. Secondly i see that most schools use the soknadsweb for application, can anyone give us important points to note during application. And Finally the part that students from Nigeria should send hard copies of transcript and diplomas, for transcript(no problem) but for diplomas(which i think is certificate).. how can i send my original certificate(statement of result) to them?? Someone pls help us out.

U can decide go for ur masters straight after ur undegrad years and then come bak to do ur service much later as long as u graduated @ 30yrs or below for ur undergraduate, u can evn decide to come bak 50yrs later to do ur service.. no issue dere..
But if u mean deffering during ur service year, i dont think theres a means to that.. my thoughts

Yes u need either TOEFL or IELTS,
You also need a GRE test result as a Non-EU applicant
So go do ur research on the school and tryout..
Application is for summer and winter sessions..

I got a job in Germany some months back, and this thread was very helpful in making sure I got all needed info regarding my work visa and traveling self. Almost any question or worry I had, had been addressed before. All I did was just search and read some pages back.

brother thank you.. i really do not understand this grading thing. I and my cousin applied for admission into Rhine Waal University of applied sciences. Our CGPAs are 3.1 and 2.6 respectively we already paid the uni-assist application fee on Thursday thru wire transfer, but we can still adjust our uni-assist application as it has not yet been received in Germany.

please advise us so we do not make mistakes.

Question 1:

(my CGPA is 3.1)
I applied for masters degree (Rhine Waal *German* GPA cut off is 2.5) ...with 3.1 am I qualified for masters in that school

Question 2:

(Cousins CGPA)
Is he qualified for masters in the same school (Rhine Waal *German* GPA cut off is 2.5)....with 2.6 is he qualified for masters in that school.

Question 3:

please which other school in Germany can I apply for both of us

How long does it take to process German study visa for Nigeria. I applied for winter admissions

Dat of ur cousins = 2.8

Now u are good to go cos u crossed the 2.5mark

The photocopy of a certified document is no longer the real thing. So, photocopy before certification.

Also, if you want to do it at the embassy...bear in mind that you can only use one certification for one school.

But as I said earlier even if d law says 2 years, d final decision is still left to d mood and caprices of d fellow u meet on sit d day u go dia. Dey interpret d law as dey like cus d law gives them d power to.

I know a lot of people still coming here are scared that how will I raise another 8k if I get a year or less. Well like I usually say don't kill ursef thinking over a problem that has not arrived. Get d one dey give u and b happy with it. Wen time for renewal comes, u will cross the bridge wen u get dia. I got 8 months and I'm still in Germany one and a half years later and by God's grace I will still be here till 2020. The more longer u stay in d system, d more u know how things work. As things stand, I now know a method anyone can use to raise up to 5k euros without hassles within 6 months that can contribute towards ur renewal. So calm down and come to Germany. Even if u got 6 months, throw a party cus u are still better than many in naija
