Doubling back to the topic, the Infinix Hot 7 seems to have nothing to offer at the moment...not even USB Type C port for a change. It just contains the internals of previous releases going to as far back as Hot 4 with the same processor, RAM&ROM and battery size being recycled again.

Here's what will happen ,

If kept fully charged and not using it for a month no issues will occur . Your phone will start normally may be with a slight loss of battery .

If kept fully charged and kept for 1 year,

most probably your battery will die.The battery will get dry and shall dicharge other components in the phone too,which may result in short circuit and your phone won't turn on. To be precise every phone has small CMOS battery which keeps the time and date updated and also keeps the circuits alive.After a small service your phone will turn on

And charging the battery by external charger or some other device.(for dead battery)

If battery is removed and kept for 1 month or 1 year.Provided you keep your phone in proper environment where there is no moisture then it should turn on immediately.

If not carbon must have got accumulated on the battery pins or other components. It should start by normal service.

And today's smart phone come with inbuilt battery systems.So,you will have to take it for service.If its not turning on by connecting it to the charger.Then battery is dead i.e totally discharged.

What is an IR blaster?

An infrared blaster (or IR blaster) is a device that emulates an infrared remote control to autonomously control a device that is normally controlled only by remote control key presses.

It works with Infrared rays. Infrared (IR) radiation is a type of electromagnetic radiation. The wave is longer than light which humans can see and shorter than microwaves. The word infrared means below red. It comes from the Latin word infra (below) and the English word red
How IR remote works?

An IR remote (also called a transmitter) uses light to carry signals from the remote to the device it controls. It emits pulses of invisible infrared light that correspond to specific binary codes.

These codes represent commands, such as power on, volume up, or channel down. The controlled device (also called the receiver) decodes the infrared pulses of light into binary code that its internal microprocessor understands. Once the signal is decoded, the microprocessor executes the commands.

IR remotes use LED lights to transmit their infrared signals. This results in a few limitations of the technology. Since light is used to transmit the signal, IR remotes require line-of-sight, which means you need an open path between the transmitter and receiver. This means that IR remotes won't work through walls or around corners. They also have a limited range of about 30 feet.

How IR Blaster Works?

The working of IR Blaster is pretty much the same as that of a remote control except that there is a digital to IR light converter in the IR Blaster. The digital signals produced by the up and down pulses of electricity while IR light is completely invisible. They are used because they have a better transfer rate and can travel through the air without causing any threat to anyone.
If the system is neatly configured, the beam generated by the IR Blaster can be used to control devices such as TV’s and computers while, at the same time, control devices such as VCR or DVR using an IR remote control.

Types of IR Blasters

1.Internal IR blaster

This type of IR blaster will be present in the devices by default i.e IR blaster is included in the device by the manufacturer let it be either in a remote control or Mobile phone or any other device.


2. External IR blaster


This type of IR blaster will not be given inbuilt in the devices. This should be attached as a piece of external equipment to the device. These can be connected via USB port or 3.5 mm headphone jack according to your choice.
IR blaster is not sufficient to control the devices. There need to be software installed on your device which is integrated with the IR blaster. There are many apps available in the play store.

Applications

The main use of an IR blaster is to control secondary device through a primary device with the help of an infrared remote control. IR blasters can be used for many electronic devices and there is no limit to its extent. The devices vary from TV’s, PC’s, VCR, home theatre, big screen projectors and so on. Another application of the device includes the extending of the range of the IR remote by keeping the blaster in a closed area, in hiding, or even at an angle that the remote cannot “see”. There are also USB IR blasters which can be connected to computers. Through this device, all the other IR devices in the room can be easily controlled.

Advantages

User-friendly
The user can sit still in one place and handle all the devices in the room.
Can be configured to work with special devices and also paired with computer applications like EyeTV and RealBasic.
No need of an external power supply for the device as it gets self-powered from the device it is connected to.

Disadvantages

Configuring the device at the beginning is difficult and confusing.
The cost of the device is considerably low but may go up according to the sensitivity, output power levels, and other chosen factors.
