Phones / Re: The Infinix Note 7 Is Insanely Good by Mafialeader: 9:15am On Sep 21, 2020
PaulThor:
Infinix is rather gaining ground already lost in Nigeria. I mean they are reclaiming it. And there are lots of reasons for that.
.
Their phones are getting better in pricing. Xiaomi might have better specs but why did they kill their big screen phone mi max series? People like me who enjoy big screen and huge battery are already falling over heels for the infinix note 7.
.
This is no phone for the camera lovers. It's a phone designed to last in the hands of the user whether he decides to watch movies or browse the Internet. And we know many Nigerians just want decent and not killer pics.
.
We all know that the resolution was to maximize battery. You can always buy the best phone for you if you don't like it.
.
The USB is a let down but can be overlooked. Yes no phone is actually perfect. I hope I pro version will fix those errors too.
.
And those saying it's expensive.. For me, I think the closest to it on xiaomi is Note 9s and it has a lesser battery and screen. It could score higher in other areas but for me, these two areas matter most and I will choose the note 7 over the note 9s which of course is still costlier.
.
I have used xiaomi for close to a decade now. Its a very powerful company but their products are not infallible either. There's still lagging and complications just like you have in other phones. I still enjoy the big screen in my mi max 3. It's sad if I want to change to another big screen, I won't find it again under xiaomi. The only option is to look elsewhere and I'm glad I have found that alternative.. Big screen, huge battery..
.
You can always pass if you don't like the phone..
Then they brought zero 8 to finish it off grin

lol bro just don’t bother applying... you’d earn so much more doing software... lol what I earn now is probably what I’d start earning after 3-5 years in the army..but it was never about the money... or the uniform..I don’t think a person can lose passion..if you are passionate about something it burns in you till you die.. you were just interested...
Same with me too bro, i cant just imagine the questions people will ask me and wonderment if i make it into the army.

Some i believe will question my sanity for wanting to leave my current place of employment for the ARMY of all places.

I’d like to ask please after filling that first page that you’ll input your documents and submit... are there more pages after that? Cos it has given me a number... and I can see continue application, print and submit.. but clicking continue is taking me back to that first page...anybody?
Nope, just print out and submit, I also noticed the print out options was not going after I clicked submit but lucky for me I had saved the print out already.

So I advice people print out before submitting to avoid stories.

Politics / Re: I Joined Terrorist Group To Work For Allah’ by Mafialeader: 9:20am On Jul 19, 2020
People like me had to be recruited into the group and trained to become a ‘doctor’ after some of our group’s medical doctors expressed fear that the Nigerian government was onto them. That was why a few of us were drafted into the medical unit to be trained as doctors. I don’t know the name of the doctor that trained me. We all called him doctor. I spent about two months with him and learnt the job. I can stitch cuts, treat deep wounds and remove bullets. To help the wounded to recover fast, I give them tramadol injection and chloramphenicol injection. If the matter is so bad, I call the doctor that trained me for advice.

I also attended to victims who are sick. During my spare time, I teach new members how to become a doctor. I never knew that Police were after me despite how careful I was. In my community, everyone knew me as a cab driver. I received a message to go and collect money from one of our sponsors. The message turned out to be a trap set by the Police. I’m sorry and will like to be given an opportunity to leave the group.

The only thing giving me joy about this news, our intelligence agencies are awake and monitoring them.
I feel it will be a great idea for NIA to set up a covert operation in Libya and have a kill team take out this set of Nigerians going to Libya from there.

I wont mind taking them out for Nigeria.I wont give them peace since they dont want peace. grin

MORE BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS NEUTRALIZED, LOGISTICS FACILITIES DESTROYED BY AIR TASK FORCE OF OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE AT MINA IN BORNO STATE

1. Several Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) have been neutralized and their logistics supplies destroyed in air strikes executed by the Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE at Mina along the Gulumba Gana-Kumshe Axis in the Northern part of Borno State. The feat, which has further destabilized the BHTs’ new leadership and curtailed their freedom of action, was achieved on 3 July 2020 as part of missions being executed under the subsidiary Operation LONG REACH II; sequel to Human Intelligence reports indicating that the BHT location had recently been reinforced with fighters and logistics supplies to provide resistance against nearby friendly ground troops’ positions. Confirmatory surveillance missions also observed significant numbers of terrorists in the settlement.

2. Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets detailed by the ATF to engage the location scored accurate hits in their bombing runs, neutralizing some of the BHTs and destroying some of their structures, including one of the terrorists’ logistics’ huts which was seen engulfed in flames. Some of the fighters who escaped the bomb attacks were mopped as the jets strafed their hiding positions.

3. The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, commends the ATF for their dedication, dexterity and professionalism. The Defence Headquarters equally urges them to intensify the air offensive against the terrorists and all other criminal elements threatening the peace and security of our beloved country.
