Earthquake2: For those who say Rohr is not aware Iheanacho is regressing
Iheanacho don’t trust himself – Rohr Coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has traced Kelechi Iheanacho’s current form in the national team to his problems at the club level. Nigeria’s national football team coach from Germany Gernot Rohr Bafana v Eagles: It’s revenge time — Ighalo The Franco-German tactician has said he was in constant touch with Leicester City’s technical set-up and they always shared ideas particularly on their Nigerian contingent of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho. “We have all seen how Iheanacho has been playing for the national team. He is a good player and his fighting spirit is second to none. But of late, his form has dropped. So also is his self confidence, which is very low. And when you lack self confidence you cannot score goals. He missed what would have been our first goal in South Africa. But I believe it is a temporary set back. He will overcome and bounce back because he is a very good player. Rohr praised Iheanacho’s teammate, Ndidi in these words, “He is doing very well. His club were happy that he did not have to come for the last matches because he is an asset to them.” http://mognews.com/2018/11/24/iheanacho-dont-trust-himself-rohr/ this shows rorh is going to continue inviting nacho |

charlesemeka85: the guy s a decent defender that can make the super eagles thicker at the back but his dream of breaking into the german setup is a tall one when you consider the array of talents have in the central defence position. young stars like jonathan tah(leverkusen),sule(bayern) and rudiger(chelsea) just to mention a few are miles better then him. also players like boateng, mustafi and hummels still have 2-3 years more in the german team. he may be capped and used in couple of friendly games but i don't see him having a fullfilling international career with the germans. sentiment aside the super eagles is the best bet for him. even in the german football circle torunarigha is rated ahead of him. i think he need to be wise to follow his head than his heart. Icon4s: Meanwhile Kelechi Nwakali is even 20.
Just observe the same feeling he has across for Isaac Success, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Nwakali. Understably he has also added Sadiq Umar.
Mr Komekn, I have nothing against the foreign born players and have always wished the deserving ones get involved in our national teams at all level but please quit this your age long practice of trying by all means to run down our Players that started balling in naija. You should know you are on a lost course already cos there is no way we will abandon players who are naija deeply rooted and are available and willing to play for us and be chasing after players who mostly are hoping to play for England and see Nigeria as a second or third choice.
Promote them if you want but not by pulling down our locally groomed players GBAM EOD |

Another english lesson loading ChrisKels: Oh yes, we can proudly say we helped them wash those hands, hence, we can call them our own. Left for u, that hand would remain unwashed. U are the same hypocrite who said Anglo Nigerians dont need Eagles to blossom, but today, Eagles helped Iwobi's career through Okocha bkus it was his influence that made the NFF pluck him directly from the Arsenal U19. All these because u wanna prove a point(bring down a player). U are shameless
About the double standard, dude, u have no shame, otherwise, u would have understood that, it is that same double standard that yielded the fruit u now brag about. The ground u stand on now to say ur gibberish, was provided u by that double standard. At least we can comfortably invite Eze and Maja now without any fear of rejection. U were too short sighted to see what they just turned out to be today, earlier enough. To show how clueless you are, would a Solanke, Tammy, Onomah, lookman, Ojo who all shunned our advances then and were firmly in English set ups, have honored such an unofficial invite? Dude, u are highly deluded. |

TheSuperNerd: He is not the only future prospect and he is not the most outstanding among the future prospects. Even Taiwo Awoniyi is yet to smell the camp of the national team after a very solid season at ZW in Belgium last season and have started this season quite decently at least. Ebere Eze nko... You saw that article I posted from Colin Udoh. They mentioned Ebere (who they have made harder to get now), Billing and even Ejaria. And I strongly believe the midfield is where we need to channel more of our attention to especially the CAM role. Not the attack. We are stocked in the attack. Even the Isaac Success that was called up is just 22. He is also the future. We still have Osimhen who is 19 and having a fine start to life in the Belgium topflight... Awoniyi is also there and is 21. So Josh Maja is not and never the only prospect we have in attack. He is not even better than what we have in the Super Eagles.
Any one of our strikers/forwards can go to league one and tear things up with aplomb... Ighalo will do it. Nacho will definitely do much more. Onyekuru was born for goals..he will paint League one like red fire paint. Success will burn it the ground with his beastly plays.
So you see.... It is not going to be easy. So deal with it. Josh Maja's time will hopefully come and I do hope we can cap him just to secure him but even that will have to come at a small cost. Dropping any of the Eight forwards (Ighalo, Success, Iheanacho, Iwobi, Kalu, Onyekuru, Simon Moses, Musa) and then ignoring any of the fringes in Kayode, Simy, and also ignoring our other bright prospects in Osimhen and Awoniyi. If Rohr can afford it then fine... But if he thinks or feels he cannot at this time then I don't blame him. We are loaded in attack.
It is only in midfield I know we have to act really fast because we have our weakness there in the CAM role in Mikel's absence. Let us be strategically truthful about what we really need. We must recruit in a vector manner and not act like scalars. GBAM |

elyte89: Funny ppu,so u guys re now claiming iheanacho is not part of d players responsible for scoring goals again ,whenever he scores, he's a 9,if he doesn't score,he came from England to Nigeria only to assist
We can't feign ignorance to d fact dt dis two players are our no 9 players whenever dey re in Nigeria
Dis year alone, d two player only played twice together on d same pitch, and dt was against Poland friendly and Seychelles qualifier, dis re d two matches I can say nacho didn't play as our point man
Every oda matches played dis year, its eida ighalo plays while nacho Sit,or vice versa.till we realise dt we need to give odas chance to showcase what dey have, den our chances of scoring goals with dis same guys is slim nacho is younger and has more goals and assists than ighalo so i will rather keep nacho either as a starter or as a sub |
