Pharoh:
You keep blabbing about this because i guess you have some expert knowledge about databases, the president do not need to know the exact technical details or even simple technical terms. The president only gives instruction what he wants and how he wants it to function, it is left for the experts to implement these ideas and turn it into a working project. Database is not used only by database professionals, statisticians, economic and other development agencies can make use of these data.

I have said it to you before the capture is stored in one database linked to your unique ID, passport or name with all your correct datas and it doesn't mean the other bodies like INEC will not collect information about you. They will just simply use your unique ID, passport number or a printout from the population register to cross check the information you have provided simple instead of them also capturing data. It is the government that is sponsoring these three different data capturing hence the need not to waste resources and cost through the application of appropriate logistics procedures.  This is a project that covers diverse field so stop thinking about only your part which is not more than how to manage the database.
Typical Nigerian way of showing defeat.

ok- so, tell us logically how you will poll these four into one single databases, the database schema, the logic, and the columns that you will have and how they be related.

No english - just simple technical terms.

Lets say the President is reading this and wants you to make it work. Tell us.

You are assuming everyone that registers a SIM is within the voting age? and you have failed woefully to understand that in Nigeria, some people carry up to four mobile phones with them, and you want a national ID card system to be based on that and on the INEC voter register? hmmmm. Techie baba. You have also assumed that everyone has a travelling passport, hence the same database will suffice for all??

Please elaborate, giving database schemas of each project and explaining how the entries can be linked together with bio data technology. Lets assume you are the Minister of internal affairs now, with indepth knowledge about database systems, schema, logics and roll out.

violent:
Nah, they didn't that's why we need someone who could, and if Jonathan couldn't then he should do Nigerians a big favor by stepping down from the race---its not a birthright afterall

Again, goodluck is responsible because he's the head of government, and his duty is to ensure that taxpayers money is not wastefully spent, the fact that it's the status quo does not necessarily mean it has to remain the same, Nigerians need a man who could stand his feet.
Why should he step down? You have the power to your vote, use it, vote against him, that makes more meaning than asking him to step down, based on what?

Akainzo:
And if your GEJ believed this, why is he voting N1.5B to build replacement structures?
The difference is that this are Principal Officers house, they are official residences, paid for and maintained by the government which is why Principal officers don't collect house or furniture allowances. Note that normal legislators do not have official residencies and thus they receive those annoying allowances.

By your reasoning Beaf, GEJ can as well sell Aso Rock to himself, aint it?
Lies upon lies. Who told you normal legislators do not have official residences? Go and do your research and come back here.

The policy then was to assist serving government officials to own homes, hence serving ministers, Directors, heads of parastatals were given the right to purchase their official residences, these sales must be approved by the sitting President. This law was enacted by OBJ/El Rufai - so, what is your grouse with GEJ for merely playing the role of a sitting President here?
PoliticsRe: Mark And Bankole To Buy Official Residences by MaJBlige(f): 9:11am On Dec 06, 2010
if you all know- OBJ created the policy, with El Rufai in tow, and GEJ is only approving as the President. Beside, hundreds of legislators/senators already bought their official residences based on the policy, so, what is all the shout for? Please if you have lost touch with happenings at home, come home and ask, its not all actions of GEJ that is worth killing yourself over. Go and ask OBJ/El Rufai.
